My go to place for firearm purchases. They have quality firearms at fair prices. I’ve purchased several firearms there and they always have a knowledgeable and helpful staff. They often carry classic model/calibers in shotguns/rifles/handguns. Would highly recommend.

Unprofessional and rude , interjecting personal opinions about State and Federal laws while cursing at a potential paying customer. Not a family environment. *** UPDATE 5–9-22 *** Again Editorializing, Never once did I ask to purchase a firearm, I asked the procedure on the use of a CHL, However your personal opinion on state and Federal laws are what earned you this review. Keep your personal opinions to yourself. You simply could have said No. instead in front of three witnesses ,of which two I came with, unknown to you, you became short, you didn’t like being questioned about how you conduct background checks. You became defensive and rude and used colorful metaphors when describing the manner in which I should leave the store . Nice try, but we all see what your trying to do here. Move on you earned your review. Side note having been in the Firearms business for over 25 years, your statement about the FBI and The NICS is not true they do not give opinions or editorialize on passed Laws of the land and retailers by and large not preferring to use the CHL or concealed handgun license (NOT CCW…Ohio does not have a CCW permit, you should know better)as a viable background option is 💯 not true.In fact other than one larger chain only 02 dealers seem to use the NICS over the CHL. And as far as giving you the finger on my way out 🤔 yeah you earned it ! The level of disrespect inspired your parting gift.

Awesome rifle purchase. I drove from Columbus to purchase a .22 rifle. The sales associate was very helpful letting me examine the rifle. Their price was very fair. The 4473 and background check went flawlessly. I would purchase here again.

I'm usually happy with Teds but I will never buy another instrument from here again bought a brubaker was a great sounding bass but I only had it about two weeks and the electronics went out took it back and no 30 day warranty or nothing the guy wasn't rude or anything I just feel personally that's one shouldn't loose out having not had an item only two weeks. You all should consider posting no guarantee on used instruments do to the fact that people don't see the receipt until after you buy! Just saying unfair!

I patronize Teds Pawn regularly now! I needed money and they gave me a fair price on the guitars I sold them! They listen and they are a great group of people… Now if you’re interested in a nice Taylor or Martin Guitar head there and it may be still available 😉

I had listed a watch for sale on Craigslist and was contacted by George from Ted's Pawn Shop via email. George said in the email he would pay asking price if it was as advertised (my ad stated repeatedly I was firm on price), I called him, they stated the process of selling to them which was very simple. I stopped in the following day, they spent a couple of minutes verifying the authenticity of the watch, gave me my asking price in cash and everyone was happy. Very professional people to deal with, Thanks George!!!!

Absolutely awesome transaction. Any and all questions answered in less than 4 hours during operating times. Eagerly and promptly provided additional pics upon request. Best of all, the revolver I received was hands down better than anticipated. The base photos did not do the gun justice. Price was fantastic, shipping on par with other dealers I have worked with. I would have, and have had, paid quite a lot more than I did. Overall I am ecstatic with my bargain and would readily buy from Ted again without hesitation, because I know I am going to get fantastic service and satisfaction! He has helped me on numerous occasions on picking out a gun that would be reliable and an asset to have in my growing collection. Good prices and selection at Teds. Along with a knowledgeable employee behind the gun counter. Easy choice for me where to purchase my firearms.

The staff was very helpful and sent me additional pictures immediately - they gave me a great deal on it and the item arrived exactly as described. It was terrific communication all the way around. By far the most arrogant staff in the pawn shop community of Cincinnati and Northern KY. Laughed at potential customers. Never asked to assist or answer questions about merchandise. They must pay out too high, as their prices are high and inflexible. They do not respect their clientele.

I was looking for a guitar online and found one that was the model I was looking for on Ted's website. Since I am in Virginia I was not really looking to drive to Ohio to get a guitar, so I inquired about shipping. Raphael sent me a quote as well as more detailed pictures so I could see the entire guitar before making a purchase long distance. He also gave me the option to pay via PayPal or send in a postal money order, which is nice for those that do not do online transactions. I normally do, but the M.O. option was less money and I didn't mind waiting for the guitar. Once he received the M.O. on a Friday, he promptly emailed me and informed me he would ship it on Monday. On Monday I received an email with a tracking number and on Wednesday I had my guitar. It was in a case and packaged carefully. Looked better than expected also. I would definitely buy here again!

Purchased a firearm online with them. Great communication and polite, item exactly as described. Shipped promptly. Only minor complaint is the USPS Money Order requirement. Perhaps be open to Western Union (pretty much everywhere) or other payment options, as USPS money orders can be a bit of a hassle to get.

I ordered a muzzleloader from SC. The process was very easy and they continually updated me. I would highly recommend Ted’s Pawn shop as they are honest and reliable. Some of the posting’s on Armslist make you apprehensive to buy especially having to send a money order but I took a chance and got great service. These folks are very professional. Thank you!

I live in Michigan and ordered a guitar from Teds Pawn shop and they were fast at delivery and item was just as described. Stopped in to purchase a FN five seven when I saw they had one in their inventory. When I asked if I could see it, I was told I needed to show the salesman that I actually had money to buy it. I respectfully asked why I was being asked to prove that I had money while showing him the inside of my wallet containing more than enough to purchase the firearm and was told, “it’s because this gun was in a rap video and a lot of you kids like to take pictures with it.” Needless to say, I did not purchase the firearm there and headed Target World. This is my first bad experience with the business as I purchased items from them before when they were located on Forest Ave and was always treated with respect.

I stopped in to purchase a handgun about three weeks ago on my lunch break. It was a Tuesday. I started the paperwork and they noticed my license address was different from my current address. They told me they couldn't complete the sale without an i.d. with my current address. Totally bummed I offered to put a deposit down until I could get my license changed. The gentleman started it was their policy not to do that. But, to my delight they offered to hold the gun for me until Saturday without a deposit. I came back Saturday and the gun was held as promised. (At a time gun sales are through the roof and to purchase one anywhere is difficult with such limited supply.) I will definitely do more business with such a reputable company.

I was in the market for a high end bag and came across the exact bag I was looking for on Ted’s website. I thought that this was too good to be true, that I’d find this bag at a pawn shop 1000 miles away, but figured I’d email them anyway to see if it was still available. It was, and they emailed me back within hours. I was a little uneasy about buying an expensive bag from a pawn shop out of state. First off, I needed to know that it was authentic, and then there’s the whole issue of sending a money order to a business I’ve never been to. I checked them out online, did my research, had them send me more pictures and even a certificate of authenticity. They were totally professional, and didn’t for a second come across as scammers or lacking integrity. Great communication, they’d even text me back within an hour of me reaching out with a question. They sent my bag UPS almost immediately after receiving payment, and sent me photos of the shipping label. They packed it extremely well. When I got the bag it was honestly nicer than I expected. It’s basically brand new, and I couldn’t be more pleased by the experience. I hardly ever write reviews but these guys deserve 5 stars. Thank you Teds Pawn!

My online search for a particular guitar led me to Ted's Pawn Shop's website, and after further inquiry through the website and by phone, Ted's staff very promptly sent additional pictures of the item to my phone. Upon receipt of funds, the guitar was sent on a Monday & received the next morning in a well packed box. The whole transaction couldn't have gone smoother, and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again.
