I keep my account frozen due to the poor online security that they have. My account was hacked awhile ago and they justified their poor level of online security that I might have malware on my iPhone. I brought the phone to apple and they said there’s no malware on the phone that the establishment has no idea what they are talking about. My password had been changed and phone numbers were deleted and they refused to accept that they have a compromised security system. This would never happen with TD Bank.

The most impersonal experience when banking. The tellers are at their empty desks, yet they insist you use their video ATM's; these things are terrible. The monitor and camera are at the level of one's crouch, making it awkward right off the bat. There aren't any dividers between the machines, and the space between you and the next person is about an inch. If there is an elderly person next to you, good luck. The majority of the time they are yelling into the screen, "what was that!?" or "I didn't hear that!" However, the most ludicrous thing about their machines is that they don't carry $100 bills. That's right. They practically force you to use these machines to handle all of your banking needs, yet they don't have the capability of handing out larger bills. The person on the other end will recommend going to the in-person teller to get larger bills. What. A. Joke.

Let me first say this; I have banked with Chase me entire life, so as a first time customer of TFCU I must say that I am extremely pleased with my experience. I came here looking to refinance my auto loan and had the pleasure of working with Chris who managed to handle the process swiftly and efficiently. Being a first time auto loan holder I was clueless regarding the entire process. Even with my lack of preparedness, Chris made the process completely painless, stress-free, and walked me through each step so I clearly understood what was going on. And best of all I walked out with an interest rate that is less than half of what my original loan was! I would recommend anyone looking to refinance their vehicle to look into TFCU and go see Chris if you are going to this branch!

    Response from the owner

Hi Corey! We're so happy to hear Chris made buying a car a great experience! We'll be sure to pass along the kind words!

Just went to the new location in Port Jeff Station. All shiny and new, which is nice. Not a fan. Had to wait for a 'virtual teller' to appear on screen. Guess it could be a trade off instead of waiting in line. But you're starting at a screen that tells you to wait. Nothing happening, no movement. Finally teller appears after a few minutes, and to my utter astonishment, they can't give me $10 bills. "We don't have any." But wait- aren't you a bank???!!! I want a real person in the flesh, not a screen. And I want $10 bills. Absolutely ridiculous 😠😡. Not a fan. Will not go back to this branch. Seriously.

A good bank with horrible hours. Also, the drive-up ATM is constantly either out of order completely, or not working that well. Any cash deposits are not accepted. Which sucks, because like i said, their hours are horrible...

Came to the branch and I'm directed to a Video Teller. While waiting online I can hear transactions people are doing and I could clearly see the amounts people were depositing. It's a shame that even our credit union has lost the personal touch of community. I declined the video teller and a human person helped me with the transaction. Certainly need to find and move to a bank that has the customer in mind.

*Update on initial review* The new location is much nicer! This is an OK local branch the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, they constantly seem to have problems with the ATM, whether the drive through or walk in. They need to step up their game if they expect to be competitive with other major banks.

this bank (credit union) is the WORST - supposed to be for its members but they find tricky ways to get money off of you. Customer service is LACKING! BEWARE!!!

Easily the best bank I've been to. When I do go through the drive thru this very pretty and nice girl Miriam always helps me and really makes my day. Thanks again.

The new video teller systems are a big risk for personal data, in addition to being impersonal. The drivethrough atm has no protective cover over the numerical pad to protect PIN. I will be leaving this bank for Bethpage
