TD Bank Highland Ave, Needham

Absolutely horrific Bank and customer service. Opened an account online. Dragged me along for 5 days. Told me account was open. Then it wasn’t. Then closed account and never provided a rationale from their back office. The manager, Alexandria, refused to provide information and refused to even provide the name of the regional manager. Horrendous customer service and absolutely no ownership of customer issues.

I felt like I was a burden for trying to get clarification on a question concerning a mobile deposit I made. I was greeted by one teller who was kind, but unclear on how to answer my question. She turned towards another teller to ask for clarification and that teller just stated the same answer to me over and over, even when I asked for clarification. I was trying to ask how I would re-deposit the check and when I kept trying to seek clarification the teller became visibly annoyed with me, and was sighing and used an irritated tone of voice. I felt dismissed and had to leave the bank and go call customer service to actually understand the answer she kept telling me. I definitely will find a different location to interact face-to-face with because banking should not leave anyone feeling confused and disrespected.

Very mediocre customer service from the tellers - rude and just not a pleasant experience. I honestly don’t know how they got hired in the first place (for so-called diversity?)

Trash branch, wish I could give 0 stars

Firstly, I love TD Bank. They "saved" me from my last bank so this an exception, but this particular branch will not be seeing me again. I needed a new card. To begin, the doors opened almost 20 minutes late. There was a family emergency of some sort for a staff person, so I can understand that. When I get in, the teller sounds fairly irritated with me from the time I asked about "can you help me with my card?" and is terse throughout our interaction. She was, quite frankly, very rude and unfriendly. She told me to wait "behind the wall" maybe 15-20 feet away for the manager. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I learn the manager has no idea I'm sitting there because she never told him. The teller than begins talking to me again when he comes out of his office from 15-20 feet away while I'm turned around with no possible way of hearing her. She tells me the card machine is broken, information she evidently had already because it broke yesterday. The manager confirms this and says I can go somewhere else. While this is happening, another customer has come in and said the ATM hasn't accepted his money and ate his card. The unfriendly teller told him that he should have taken his card when it was beeping and did not seem to be listening to him. Needless to say I was annoyed and will not be returning to this branch. I have never had a negative experience with TD Bank prior to this and have found their customer service impeccable and so this was a most unpleasant surprise.

On April 22, 2016, I saw my tire flat as I exited the door of my favorite TD bank in Needham MA. I was on my way to pick up my kids to travel to our friend's recital in South Hadley. I prayed silently for strength...a kind customer tried to inflate my tire using his gadget but was not working. Then, the 2 employees came running out to help me!! Olidopo, Asst Manager, got on the ground to change my tire and an Associate named Ali with a cast on his arm, was so gracious to help me. They went out of their way to give me an amazing customer service. I am so thankful for all they did for me with smiles, laughter and jokes that lifted my spirit! They were the 2 angels God sent to me that morning. I was able to make the recital that day because of Olidopo and Ali @ TD bank!! I have been banking with TD for over a decade and they are the best around. I can't say enough about their customer service, convenience and to this day, absolutely no human error!

When making a simple cash deposit, the staff makes it seems as if you're bothering them by interrupting their time to browse the internet.

Staff is really helpful and friendly. Nice environment as well.
