Customer care not prepared to assist with answer for loans. Paid back a loan earlier and discovered only after I received a "paid" note that the bank would still charge interests. The financial advisor didn't mention this at all, very low professionalism, at a threshold of fraud.

Enough room for 6 tellers to service customers. But ALWAYS only 2 tellers on duty. Consequently there's always a line of 15-20 customers waiting to be serviced. Try to go to another branch if you want to avoid the frustration.

Good bank, free lollipops as per usual with TD bank. Free pens 🤷‍♂️ atm open 24/7.

Terrible bank! Period. I could write a book at this point! Most recently the story goes like this: My debit card expired and they emailed to say they were sending a new one. Never came. I called customer service and they sent out a replacement. Never came. I did this TWO MORE TIMES and STILL NO CARD. That's 4 tries at sending me a new client card and I still do not have one! My local branch is closed, indefinitely, due to Covid19. AND I DO NOT HAVE A CLIENT CARD THAT WORKS!!! So, in the middle of a pandemic I cannot access my bank account. If you call customer service it is an hour+ wait, every time, and I've already tried this route 4 times. If I try to go to the branch I cannot -- closed! BOTH Astoria branches closed. Not even a few hours a week. All their clients here are now stranded. THIS IS NOT LEGENDARY SERVICE. This is NOT America's most convenient bank. This is a terrible bank. Period. Now, don't even get me started with all the other poor experiences I've had in the past. I have a feeling this bank will, ultimately, fail and go under. Just too terrible.

TDBank is good with its 7 days a week and stays open a little late with good. Try not to go in the weekend between 10am-1pm, a long line with 1 or 2 workers. Good customer service but some of the workers work very slow or if one of the workers meet a customer from her country forget about it. Time to gossip... You may need to spend the whole day waiting for your turn...

Customer service is friendly and accommodating despite this banks overzealous and downright annoying fraud detection policies. I wasted several hours and two return trips on the same day to process an unfreeze request on my checking account. The woman who helped me was unable after a second appointment to even close and cancel my account. Truly incompetent and wasteful experience. After being unable to access my account due to the freeze I proceeded to close the account which took another two visits to another branch in Flushing. Horrible and low hanging fruit type bank. I had zero issues with Capital One which I maintain for all my current banking needs. Checks also take and insane amount of time to clear at this bank. This is probably due to the low class element this bank attracts which results in more malfeasance on the part of its unwashed masses of clients who cling to their diminishing savings like no tomorrow. Go to this bank if you like waiting several hours to see an agent and to process the most simplest request.

Since this bank changed management it has been the worst! Never enough tellers, always a crazy line. Really thinking about switching.

The branch has improved greatly since the pandemic. I would not recommend going to the branch when it first opens for teller transactions since there is usually one teller. Other than that the customer service is great.

We had very bad experience opening HELOC in this branch, we had to come twice to sign stack of papers, due to bank mistake printing documents not on the legal size papers, then our check bounced because they forgot to scan part of the documents and loan was not fully processed even we were told all is good and closing has been completed. I am still not sure if we are at the end of the road.

Worst TD bank ever. the people that work there think that the service included in your account are free. that it's okay to leave a customer waiting 45 minutes for a notary. tell you to call customer service when you have a problem when you're already at the branch. Paul is very helpful. the rest of the people there i really have no use for.
