TCF Bank Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights

Arrived a minute after official closing. They would not help me. Three tellers standing around literally doing nothing but chit chatting. Rude when asked if they could please make an exception as I had raced there to try to make it. The service and disrespect has prompted me to write this review and to close out my accounts with TCF. I've never had a bank be so unhelpful. One minute.... really.

Terrible tellers. After waiting 5 people in line she tells me I filled out my slip wrong. She wouldnt fix it because thats not her job. Told me to go to the table and fill out another 1. kill yourself. Grab my checks, cussed her out and left.

Very nice and helpful staff. The wait can get long depending on what people need. Given that it's a small branch, it's understandable.

Bad bad bad customer service tcf bank will never get to the level of other banks like chase or BMO

Drove in middle of snow from one branch I guess recently was closed by TCF. Was cutting it close but got there at 3:58 or just tad before 4pm which is closing time on Sundays. I completely understand it's cutting it close, but all 4 tellers had their drawers closed out and wouldn't take my business deposits. Terrible customer service, as a retailer I know you NEVER close early or right as the clock turns. Based on other reviews not surprised, this branch is a reason why TCF is reaching for that 5th star. Avoid this branch if possible.

Trying to get a hold of someone to talk to you in person these past two months have been incredibly a horrible experience, it seems nobody really speaks English that well and when you tell them what your problem is they put you on hold and they never come back, on hold for 30 minutes or more terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service had an issue with my card tonight I miss placed it but I found it later on this evening couldn’t get a hold of them to tell them I found my card so when I tried to use it later it was declined can’t get a hold of anybody to tell them that I found my card this is a complete mess and I am totally over this bank I hope somebody reaches out to me and fixes this TCF customer services are horrible horrible horrible I am so sad about this because this was always my go to bank

Friday morning 10am only 2 tellers and no management onsite. Several customers waiting in line. Why am I still banking here?

They are just playing around with each other. No help you ask then a question and with no solution. They gossip about customers and laugh right in your face. No respect.

They are closed at 520pm when should be closed at 6pm.
