The experience we had with Tabor Mortgage was more enjoyable than I’d ever expect getting a mortgage to be. Todd and his team were exceptionally efficient and experienced. Every step of their plan was laid out from the very beginning, and followed as described all the way to closing. All of their forms were able to be signed electronically and the only signatures required for wet signing we’re at closing. This was a huge plus for us as we were not only out of the area, but 3 time zones away. There were no surprises, except that the amount we had to bring to closing went down! They were fair and honest, and didn’t put us in a mortgage we couldn’t afford for the sake of making the deal. As with any mortgage, you should always shop around, but I would recommend that before you agree to or sign anything with any other lender, you call the professionals at Tabor Mortgage and see where they land against your other potential lenders. I contacted Mitchell after I was under contract on a home. Unfortunately shortly after going under contract my lender contacted me to tell me I was not approved even though I had pre approval. Mitchell calmed me down and after I explained it all to him he went to work. He called me and reassured me he and his team reviewed my stats and could in fact get me closed. Rates started going back after I contacted this lender. Our rate ended up being close to the estimate, but only after we bought points to get it there. This made closing costs go up. This lender used an easy to use app to upload and sign everything before closing. I requested a certain closing attorney and they said they could do that, but once everything was ready to close we realized they used their go to attorney. They had someone leaving the firm and think communication failed somewhere. By this time, to have to switch closing attorneys we would have reached our expiration date for the quoted rate/loan and it would not be worth it to change so we stayed on track with their attorney. Any time I contacted Stephen he answered my questions, he is knowledgeable and helped me understand if I didn't. He kept in contact with us and let us know if they needed anything from us to keep the process going. He let me know all the options in certain situations so my husband and I could determine the best route for us. We thought we would be making our first payment in June and not until we were signing the closing documents did I notice it said May. Also we tried to reach them while signing the closing documents and could not reach them. Afterwards he explained the earlier date would help keep closing costs down, but it would have been nice to know before signing. The experience wasn't terrible, but I've had better experiences. Hopefully they will take this constructive criticism to give future clients an outstanding experience. Some things are out of their control like rates, but some communication slipped through the cracks when it shouldn't have.

Brett was able to get us preapproved and moved through in no time. He also answered each one of the 42200 questions I had during the process without the slightest hint of being bothered, even during off hours. We were kept informed every step of the way. Rates started going back after I contacted this lender. Our rate ended up being close to the estimate, but only after we bought points to get it there. This made closing costs go up. This lender used an easy to use app to upload and sign everything before closing. I requested a certain closing attorney and they said they could do that, but once everything was ready to close we realized they used their go to attorney. They had someone leaving the firm and think communication failed somewhere. By this time, to have to switch closing attorneys we would have reached our expiration date for the quoted rate/loan and it would not be worth it to change so we stayed on track with their attorney. Any time I contacted Stephen he answered my questions, he is knowledgeable and helped me understand if I didn't. He kept in contact with us and let us know if they needed anything from us to keep the process going. He let me know all the options in certain situations so my husband and I could determine the best route for us. We thought we would be making our first payment in June and not until we were signing the closing documents did I notice it said May. Also we tried to reach them while signing the closing documents and could not reach them. Afterwards he explained the earlier date would help keep closing costs down, but it would have been nice to know before signing. The experience wasn't terrible, but I've had better experiences. Hopefully they will take this constructive criticism to give future clients an outstanding experience. Some things are out of their control like rates, but some communication slipped through the cracks when it shouldn't have.

Zac and Autumn were fantastic throughout the entire mortgage process. Excellent communication, easy to work with, and even the realtor and closing attorney complimented them on how smoothly everything went. I would definitely use again and would recommend without reservation! AND they even sent a housewarming gift!

Working with Tabor Mortgage was an experience that’s for sure. The process of closing on my first home was a bit long as expected with the virus going on and the closing date had to be pushed out multiple times however in the end Tabor got me in my first home. Chris White was pleasant to deal with and kept me up to date on everything as well as answered any questions I had. If you are trying to finance a single wide mobile home they are certainly one of your best options. If I had a minor complaint it would be that the interest rate I ended up with was higher then what I originally would have had because everything took so long to process. In the end I had to buy it down to make it more affordable. Overall I would say Tabor is a good team to work with.

Zac Cooper and his team of professionals at Tabor Mortgage were extremely helpful and patient with me the entire way. I started my home refinance options in January of 2021 with no luck from "Big Box Lenders." Although my credit score was decent, my debt-to-income ratios and the fact of child support/alimony obligations caused them to shut me down. I was referred to Zac Cooper at Tabor and inquired about a consultation in February. Zac called me on a Sunday afternoon just to chat. I was surprised. He took time on that Sunday just to listen. He listened to my situation and I felt no pressure. I was coming off a divorce, transitioning from Active Duty Military to Veteran status, new job, debt sky high, and a home trashed in bad need of repairs from a previous rental. The repairs were going to take me 6 months. I figured there is no way. Zac was honest with me up front. He discussed options with me and followed up weekly with a phone call .
