First of all, I would like to say thank you to Jonathan Alonso. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, all the way to closing on my two properties he made me feel so happy. During the entire process he was very friendly, easy going and very professional. Always responded to my texts and phone calls right away even if he is out of office. He did a great job for me. I recommend to anyone SWE homes is where you should go for buying and renting properties. Best experience. Also Thank you to all SWE family members to complete my process during my closing. I really wanted to give this company a 5 star rating and refer clients (I’m a Realtor) but I have been waiting for almost a month for the deed to be recorded so I can began renovations… The home is unlivable (bought as an investment property) yet I can’t begin reconstruction work with the city until the recorded deed is filed.. However, I have a $1900 mortgage payment coming up April 1st 🙄.. haven’t even been able to tear the home down yet.. more expenses to pay when all I need to move forward is a recorded deed.. smh Update: 3/23/2022 ~ 4:31pm CST Recorded deed provided. Yes, Ede is the absolute best (which is why I wanted to rate 5 stars initially) but the process for a first time purchase with the company was confusing. I am updating my review to 5 stars because everyone responded professionally to resolve my issue. Thank you! I truly appreciate the professionalism with this matter.

Can you give a -5 rating? Slum lord at its finest! If you don’t believe check out The Preserve of Texas in Cleveland, Texas. Just when things were bad they quickly got worse when SWE took over. I roads are absolutely horrid, the only way in/out is a bridge that should be condemned we are terrified to drive over it. The grounds/pools are in deplorable condition not to mention our dues are over a 1000.00 a year with this year adding another 1000.00 for a special assessment which we have nothing with a timeline or company that is guaranteed to do/compete the work. Our self contained water system is old/over loaded and constantly fails and not to mention we live in a flood plain which it is typical for us to be flooded in with 3’8’ of water they sits for days we have to be boated out! We were charged a special assessment a few years ago for road work that never happened. We could go on and on - we staged a protest a few days ago with the media. SWE had never reached out to address our concerns. Buyers beware!

Agents, don’t refer your clients here! There is no indication of the referring source on their application, nor do they ask if you’re working with a realtor. If the client didn’t mention you they WONT pay a commission. In my situation my clients were under a considerable amount of stress after having to locate a home in 24 hours of being homeless. I sent the application and they moved in without viewing the property. I was working with the wife and she forgot to mention my name so this company has opted not to pay me!

Not willing to work with customers. Refuses to take our payments for our mortgage. Attempting to foreclose on our home even though we have the money to pay our mortgage but they refuse to take it. Now we are scrambling with only 2 weeks notice to either figure out how to get them to take our payment or be homeless.

I will NEVER recommend SWE homes to anyone. Not even if they are in a bind because they will only get their money taken out of their account every month and no one will care about you or your family. I woke up today Friday morning 7-1-22 from my baby screaming I picked him up to only realize he was soaked in sweat. The Ac unit went out in the middle of the night. I waited until work hours to call them to see if they can push it urgent bc from past experience once is Friday they don’t care. For someone in the maintenance office to tell me that the “main person who schedules maintenance work was out for the day. Just my luck right? Out of everyone in the office she’s the only one and the rest are just soaking up 8 hrs of work time. They then informed me that they doubt she will be checking work email from home and that Monday is a holiday. So guess who rent will be withdrawn from their account bright and early Tuesday but spent 4 days without Ac.

The worst company ever. Customer servers super unprofessional. I tried to get a payoff form to pay off my loan and took them many days. My closing get delayed because swe homes. Each time I call support team, I got different answers. I emailed them at least 10 times but no response. They are so disrespectful to their customers.

The company is willing to work with you and several manners only thing I suggest to anyone when looking for a home to rent our own you need to go to the property look at it first hand and see can you afford to invest to make it the way you want it but other than that it's totally awesome

Worst company to work for, they’re so dirt cheap. Gloria asked me to travel to orange to Conduct a (probably illegal) service for free until I said I need to be paid, she then offered only 35$ That would be mailed weeks later. Guys My first job with them was a home trash out and they “could only afford 100$“ Which took hard work and sweat to complete, not to mention I had to fill out sooo much paper work for the job until it’s not funny or worth the little 100$. Guys I usually do trash outs for 150-600$ but yet I still did the job to show dedication. Last encounter Gloria had the nerve to scream at me after giving her my bid for a job. Gloria said: “no way we are a company!!!!!! you just lost out on a bid job.” Instead of just handling my request with kindness and professionalism she went off on me. She also had me walking into a dangerously moldy house asking me to cut the mold and remove debris. I gave them my bid and was IGNORED instead of simply stating they’re not interested in my price. Prior to the call before the job I was ignored by them for months instead of just simply texting back… but as soon as they need a job done, here comes Gloria running and blowing up my phone up asking me to bust my tail for lowlife junky money. Very unprofessional, cheap and manipulative. According to these reviews I wouldn’t recommend SWE homes to a homeless dog. To Gloria at SWE, please know I am also business and my prices are my prices. Actual companies I conduct business with honors my quotes & doesn’t come with a bid, plus I get paid the same day. The only person who’s losing out is you according to all of these Atrocious reviews.

I’m a property owner. There’s a new company that took over our community as the developer/ management company in 2019. When they took over our yearly POA dues were $450.00. They increased to $750.00, $900.00 and now we just were notified that they are going to be $1,200.00 for non waterfront, $1,500.00 for waterfront , & a special assessment of $1,100.00 non waterfront, $1,300.00 for waterfront. In my case my total due in a 30 day period is $2,800.00. I just received notice of this at our POA Meeting. We have no voice, as when SWE took over they placed 4 of their employees on the board and one of the board members is a property owner. Scott Wizig also has the majority vote on everything so therefore we have no control over what happens out here. We were silenced once again during meeting. We weren’t allowed to ask questions, get answers or comment on anything without being muted. We have recordings to prove this. We have not had any meeting in person since COVID they are all through Zoom. These people are ruthless & have no concern for any residents. They never respond to any of my emails, they loose our payments & try to charge late fees, we have to put stop payments on checks because they loose them and do not get reimbursed for the stop payment. They do not take electronic payments you have to mail them in and they post them late or loose them. I see that I am getting charged $1000 a year for taxes added to my house note payment when I pay my note to SWE- SWE is suppose to be paying the taxes from this but I see he hasn’t paid them in 2 years and there’s now late fees. And the taxes are half what I’m being charged! Anyone wanting information about The Preserve of Texas please contact me I am a property owner and will answer any of your questions.

Scott Wizig is the developer of the community I live in and it has been a nightmare. Roads are almost undrivable, pools are in bad condition the place has gone downhill fast since 2018 when he took over. He raised dues through the POA which he now controls since 4 of the 5 board members work for him. Since 2018 dues have gone from $455 a year to $1500! And keep in mind the majority of residents are on a fixed income. He has also given us an assessment of $1300 which was voted on today along with the increase in dues and we have until 12/31/2021 to pay in full or pay through a ridiculous payment plan of 10% interest plus $35 per month fee. Of course Scott Wizig has around 9000 more votes that he gave to himself than the property owners have so what Scott wants Scott gets. This doesn't seem legal but he will forclose if property owners don't pay up. Of course Scott Wizig dosen't have to pay any dues on his property because he is exempt! Property owners at The Preserve in Cleveland are very frustrated and not sure what to do next but warn others to not walk away from doing business with this company but run and run very fast.

No help during pandemic, took my payments i was behind on, specified it was for monthly payments and they took it all into fees and foreclosed on my home. We had 2 weeks to come up with the money and ended up losing our home.

This company preys on low income family .Bought a home from them with non working contrail air unit. The unit looks like it has not been used used in years. Said they installed a new dishwasher & it’s not new it doesn’t work neither does the electricity or wiring to the unit.

Poor professionalism. Did not respond to our offer, even when the Broker spoke to the owners of this company. It's sad to say, but most of their houses won't pass an FHA inspection, which is why they prefer conventional loans or in house financing. Their financing program is a huge scam, at 11% especially since an average mortgage right now is from 3-4%. Multiple owners and foreclosures on their homes, not mention the many dead german cockroaches found in appliances and closet . Buyer BEWARE, don't be tricked by their low asking price.
