Superior Savings Credit Union Lincoln Way, Massillon

I am very happy with the service and security that the credit union provides. My one complaint is that I would like them to "modernize" a bit and allow deposit of checks remotely using your cell phones camera. The people are pleasant and knowledgabe

The people are very friendly here. I'm sure it's a great checkbook bank but as far as embracing technology (e-banking, online and apps), they are seriously behind the curve. The online system fails to update on a weekly basis. If you go by your online banking balances- you will be wrong! If you like retro, like checkbook and little pocket balance books, this is a fantastic place. In short, I'd recommend it to my parents but not my kids.

We are a dealership specializing in pre-owned vehicles. A customer came into our establishment and said she was approved at Superior Credit Union in Massillon. She picked out the vehicle that she said she was dreaming about and proceeded to purchase it. We did her paperwork, and faxed it over to Superior. Superior called our dealership and informed us that they wouldn't be able to include an extended warranty which the customer wished to purchase as well. We informed the customer of this and she was OK with just getting the vehicle. We re-typed the paperwork which was faxed over to Superior, an employee from Superior then called and verified that everything was good to go. The customer was instructed by Superior to come in the next morning and finish up her paperwork. We just received a call from the customer saying that Superior wouldn't approve her for the amount that was requested, and APPROVED FOR the previous day, and she is very upset. We called Superior to ask what had happened between yesterday evening and this morning and we were told that whomever approved her for the amount yesterday was "wrong", and that it "DIDN'T MATTER" because they would only approve her for $800.00 less than they approved the previous day! We have several lenders and credit unions at our disposal and we are able to secure financing for this customer. She has obviously been a loyal customer to this particular credit union for quite some time, and was very adamant about staying with her Credit Union. It's a shame that these people have little or no regard for their customers! Make sure that you check rates, terms, and conditions with all of your dealer's finance options before committing to these people to save yourself a headache in the end! We value each and every customer and go out of our way to build repeat and referral business, obviously these people have an over abundance of business or simply don't care about their loyal customers.

This place is unloyal and doesn’t value its customers

Made me feel unwanted and unappreciated at this bank/ credit union. Would not recommend.

I’m sure this bank is good for most people but I REGRET ever going through this bank for my car loan. The certain people that I had worked with in regards to my loan and a situation I was in, were VERY misleading. Telling me one thing but not standing by that word and then twisting it up to mean something completely different. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN DEAL OR WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone else.

A friend recommended me here but the service is garbage

Very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. They are really good with security of our money as well. 15 years and many business & personal transactions later and very satisfied.

If I could leave a lower ranking I would a bank that isn’t loyal by its word is not a place I’d wish to do business
