SunPoint Home Loans Stonewood Park Loop, Land O' Lakes

I was most fortunate to be introduced to SunPoint Home Loans by my Real Estate Agent 5 years ago when purchasing a new home in the Land O Lakes area. I am a veteran, Marine Corps, and was using my VA loan to secure financing. At that time I used a significant portion of my savings as a down payment. SunPoint was able to arrange an exceptionally good 30 year fixed interest rate and met my monthly mortgage and tax payment requirements. The processing time was Excellent. Two years later, as interest rates declined, I decided to Refinance and recover my original down payment and return to Sunpoint for their assistance. Again they were able to find a better interest rate and I refinanced within a 30 day period and recovered my down payment. On December 26, 2021, with Declining interest rates and increasing values of homes in my area I contacted SunPoint to determine if it was worthwhile to refinance again. As it turned out it was. Not only were they able to find me a better interest rate on a 30 year fixed rate loan they were also able to arrange a cash take out and still maintain my required monthly mortgage and tax payment at Less than previously paid. The closing was in less than 30 days. Am I satisfied with SunPoint “HELL YES”.

I think this is my 3rd purchase/refinance using SunPoint. Their staff is always helpful. We had difficulty working through a new FNMA requirement for condominiums. When the underwriter had concerns, SunPoint's staff went the extra mile to resolve the concerns and we were able to close. I don't know if our purchase would have closed if we had used a different lender. I continue to recommend SunPoint to anyone who has mortgage lending needs.

Approaches you with the heart of a teacher and never a salesman. Very thorough in his explanation of the various products and options for your situation. Always presents you with multiple options and how they can effect you. Always informative but always allows the time and space to make your decision. It was a refreshing experience and coupled with A+ team. They kept me apprised of each aspect of the process. Constant updates on where we were in loan process. Never felt like I had to be on them or worried something would slip through the cracks. If I had a question - answered same day or next day if sent late. Couldn’t say much better things about them. I highly recommend them!

The SunPoint Team is great! I had the pleasure of working with Nelson almost 2 years ago and he was very helpful. The entire team was great to work with.
