We recently purchased a car from this location and had a great experience buying, better than we have had at any dealership prior. DiAngelo was excellent to work with and made the entire transaction easy, and was able to answer all questions we had, and I would strongly encourage working with DiAngelo for a nice transaction, though I’m sure other sales people here would be great as well. While waiting, we also spoke with another employee (though I don’t recall his name) that was very nice and helpful, and kept us entertained while we waited. The one issue we have arose from the service and parts team, not sales, after the transaction. We ordered floor mats from the service team and since I work until 5 I needed to pick them up after 5pm. The service worker told me he would leave them with sales staff and I could come anytime before closing to pick them up. I showed up after 5pm the day the mats were delivered to find that the service team had not left the mats with sales, and ultimately I was not able to get them at all that evening, and had to come back the next day. I came back the next day, picked up the mats from service and parts and asked about ordering the trunk cargo cover. The guy couldn’t “find” the cargo cover in their online inventory, which was odd because they had it when I initially bought the car. So he took my phone number down and said he’d call me when he found it, and I could pay over the phone. To this day he has still not called me back, so I’ll have to call back and try to order it again, and then return back to the dealership, again.

Customer service up sales things that you don’t need to do. Check the official Mazda guidelines before going into maintenance check. We had only 3k miles and they charged us for oil and filter change. Spoke with the manager and he told that he “didn’t up sale us enough”. More surprised that this dealership uses the customer absence of knowledge to sell you things. They lost my trust in Mazda.

Received great service from Tony a week back while buying Audi from this show room. He has taken care to the max right from answering my first call till I came out with the car from showroom he worked out great interest rate for me as well. But there is an employee who will be yelling at other employees in front of customers itself which is not right. Also i am disappointed pretty much that I received only one car key.this should be arranged by @stevens Creek Mazda

I had an excellent time buying a 2020 Miata from Nicholas Cardoso at Oak Tree Mazda. We took it for a test drive, didn't get any pressure to close a deal right away, slept on it, and came back to buy it the next morning! Nicholas was helpful and professional throughout the whole process, as well as the everyone else at the dealership. After purchasing the car, a couple of the other salesmen (Miata owners themselves) were running us through all the little details I should know about the car and suggestions for fun drives. I felt the whole dealership was passionate and helpful from start to finish!

Pretty bad experience. I went to take a test drive. After that salesperson said he will tell me how much it would cost. I told him it should not hit my credit report. But nevertheless he went ahead and did a hard hit on my credit score. After I refused to buy citing high markup, he messages with deceiving details about other Mazda dealers. My friend went there to get the servicing done and they just suggested to replace part for the car, which is just 2 weeks old CX5 Select 2022.

Pathetic customer service by the sales manager Alex! He was extremely impolite, started yelling, spoke very rudely, was cagey about the price of the car and highly impolite. Essentially everything that a sales person should not be!!! If you do go into this dealership, you’ll be better off dealing with other sales consultants/managers who were nice and welcoming. I think this dealership's management should seriously look at replacing toxic people like Alex!!!

Completely unwilling to honor agreed upon price. When someone agrees to a price and then confirms it, in person, you expect them to honor that agreement. I’ve seen multiple horrible dealers but generally they are at least good enough to honor their agreements. Not the case here. There wasn’t even any room for ambiguity. This was the agreed-upon car and a fully cash transaction. No trade-ins, no questions, very simple. We found multiple dealers selling at MSRP and decided to shop locally since they said they would price match. We confirmed multiple times that they would sell it at MSRP and then went on a final test drive. They agreed to hold the car while we drove home to get checks. We sat down to complete the deal and the price is magically different only 45 min later. The salesman starts playing games with us showing us a tablet with the price a couple thousand dollars higher than what they agreed with lots of overpriced service and warranty packages. We decided not to go with those packages because it’s easy to do the math to see you’re getting ripped off. Finally I ask what’s happening because we were told very clearly that we could pay MSRP for the car, multiple times, by this exact salesman. The salesman walks off and then comes back and tells us the best they can do is $500 above msrp. This was clearly a calculated move made on the assumption that we would simply purchase the vehicle at a higher than agreed-upon price. We left. If your time is a value to you, I suggest you spend it at a dealership with more integrity. They wasted hours of our time. Had we have just driven to the other dealership a little further away, we’d have a car now.

Great experience at Stevens Creek Mazda, we had a really nice time there, and Marcos was very professional and helpful, always tried to answer all our questions and offering great options that actually were of our interest. I had an amazing car buying experience. I had a good idea of the car and options I wanted and I was insistent on getting exactly the car I had in mind. The salesperson took great care to understand every aspect of my demands and work with me to find my perfect car. Oak Tree Mazda went as far as to procure the car from another dealer and add all the options I had in mind so that I ended up with my dream car. Wow. What a nightmare experience my family has had with Stevens Creek Mazda’s service center over the past month. We are so fed up with their lack of customer service and inept technicians that we are planning to sell our Mazda CX-9 and will never purchase another Mazda again. We will also never visit another DGDG dealership again. Last month, the sunroof in my 2020 CX-9 exploded as I was driving down the highway. It sounded like a gun went off in the car. The glass completely shattered. Luckily, I had the interior sun shade pulled shut so the glass didn’t fly into me and my 1-year-old daughter’s faces. I brought it into Stevens Creek Mazda Service Center. They give us two quotes: one to replace the sunroof, and one to clean out glass from the headliner if necessary. We balk at the number but hope that there won’t be glass in the headliner. I get the call to pick up my car. We’re only charged for the sunroof replacement. There is no mention of glass in the headliner, so we assume everything is fine. The next day, we open the interior sun shade in our car and glass falls out. We take the car back to Stevens Creek Mazda to have it cleaned out. They apologize for the inconvenience and clean it out. We are told they got a lot of glass out but that there is still some in the headliner and that if we brake hard it may send the glass forward. Shortly after picking up my car, I attempt to open the sun roof. It won’t slide open, it will only tilt open slightly. The sunroof was operational before I dropped it off at the dealership the last time. We bring the car back to the dealership. They are not apologetic. They stand firm that they told us there was glass in the headliner, and that the remaining glass must have shifted and jammed the motor in the sunroof. That is totally true, but they shouldn’t have agreed to clean the glass from my car if there was a chance they would break the motor in the sunroof while doing so. After a lot of back and forth between Stevens Creek Mazda and Mazda corporate, no one is willing to budge. We have to pay for the repairs, including fixing the sunroof motor that they broke. We have wasted a lot of time on this and our car has been in the shop for two weeks. We’re done. So we ask them to remove all the glass from the headliner and make the car perfect again. When we finally go to pick our car up, there is a piece of glass on the driver’s seat, and small fragments of glass on the driver’s side floorboard. The sad thing is, we loved our Mazda CX-9, and my husband was planning to buy a CX-5 as a commuter car. This dealership is willing to lose our business forever over a $3,000 sunroof repair. We will never buy another Mazda and have warned our family and friends to steer clear of this dealership.

There was an extended warranty replacement for faulty touch screens and I called in for a replacement. I was told by the service center that they did not have the part in stock and they did not know when they would be available again and that they would call me back when they came in. I never got a call back and apparently they never took down any documentation of me calling in for the issue. Now they are refusing to honor the extended warranty recall.

While this is standard for all company service centers, I still can’t accept being quoted around 900$ for belt tensioner replacement and getting it done for 350$ with an independent shop. I understand you gotta make profit, but charging over twice is not acceptable No matter what

Do not come to this dealership for service! I came to this dealership for regular maintenance with around 13K milage and they added many services which my car did not need according to the owner's manual, e.g filter change, tire alignment etc. They ripped the customers off by taking advantages of the customers' lack of knowledge. I only found this out after paying 500+ dollars!! I will never come back to this dealership.

I just bought my 2021 CX-5 touring from here, Marcos helped me, he's very helpful and professional. He introduced the new features, packages and all the available options. I had a test drive and I got the car in just one afternoon, the whole process was swift and quicker than what I expected. Marcos also helped me downloaded the Mazda app which is pretty cool. I would definitely recommend the store to anyone who wants a new car, just pick your ideal model, trim and packages and everything will go quite smoothly.

Oak Tree Mazda proved to be a great place to buy a car, assuming you get the right salesman/woman! I would have rated 5 stars if my initial experience was not so poor. Shaun was a pleasure to work with. I came in knowing the car I wanted and he did not push anything on me. He let me take my time to check out the car and inspect it. He was always waiting close by to answer any questions. He did hover around constantly trying to tell me to buy this car for "x" reasons. Paperwork was a simple process. Working with Shaun was straight forward and to the point, no BS. Fred Penney was also a pleasure to work with in finance. He took me through anything I had questions about. On the other hand, I came in a few months prior and worked with a different salesman. It was a terrible experience. He tried to sell me a car I did not fit in. He then spewed numerous false details about the car. I mentioned the he was incorrect about these details and he assured me he was right. I had no intention of ever coming back to Oak Tree Mazda because of my experience with him. Luckily Shaun proved to be nothing like this first salesman and I came away happy and with the car I wanted.

I had made up my mind to buy Mazda CX-5. The sales representative Andy was so rude and careless. He never listened to my requests or answered my questions. When I went on time for appointment, I had to wait for 30 mins for Andy. If you value time, don't go to Oak Tree Mazda. I requested for a quote, he was so rude and said I will send you an email. After 3 days, I had remind him asking again. I finally bought my dream car from Fremont Mazda. They offer better price, customer service and attend appointments on time. I believe providing 1/5 for this dealer is even more. Worst customer experience. Oak tree just lost a prospective customer by hiring bad sales representatives. I would never ever suggest anyone to make a purchase at Oak Tree. It's worth travelling 20 miles to Fremont.

Service completely made the experience here, worth all 5 stars! I worked with Alex Semikhat in sales and Amy Loeun in Finance. First, the team stayed late on a Monday night (well after normal closing hours) to help us with a lease and very patiently walk through all the different numbers, rates, and associated details. Then, the next day Alex helped me surprise my wife by arranging balloons and a giant bow to surprise my wife when we showed up to pick up the car. It may not sound like much, but he had already made the sale, and seeing how it was Valentine's day, the gesture actually went a long way. The experience felt more like a friend than a salesperson all through the process, and coupled with straightforward/transparent pricing I don't think there's much more you can ask for.

Every time I bring my car here for maintenance, I find something new damaged on my car. I baby my car, and know where every single scratch is. There's several around my window where the oil change sticker goes. Most recently, I found that the paint on my driver's door edge is chipped. Besides always finding new damage to my car... It seems like the staff is also incompetent. Often times my oil change sticker date does not match the input date on the car system. It's not that hard to double check your work and do things right. This used to be a great place to take my car, but the service has really declined over the years. I'm taking my car elsewhere now.

bought my car there 3 years ago. and i have done most of my maintenance with them. sale process was ok. it was hard to understand the finance part of it though. maintenance is ok. Courtesy cars are never available (unless you're among the first in the morning) and shuttles are useless. plus, they don't wash your car (they wash it in redwood city). I went there last week to buy the car at the end of lease. the "finance" guy tried to increase the loan rate by 1% and added three "insurances" and was very fast to print the document. I asked few times about one of them which is more than $100 per month and the guy told me: "its very useful and you get all of this". Sorry but i consider this to be forced sales! when i insisted he removed the cheapest. now once back home i asked them to cancel the insurance (the contract says it can be done for one month at no cost)and then, total silence. no answer. so i am going to do the official paper work for cancelling and they will never see me again !

Alex Semikhat was my salesperson. I went in on Saturday to test drive a pre-owned MX5. Alex was so helpful and knowledgable, also very calm. He encouraged me to test drive both the soft-top and the hard top. When I said I preferred the soft-top, because visibility is better, he didn't hard sell me on the more expensive hard top, he seemed to understand my needs regarding a car. I found him professional and helpful. I decided to buy the soft top MX5, and he came in specially on Tuesday, his day off, to assist with the financing. This is great dealership to buy cars from. This was my first time shopping at the Oak Tree Mazda down at Steven's Creek. The entire car buying experience was great, smooth and easy! I leased at Mazda CX-9 from Stevens Creek Mazda few days ago. The process spanned over 2 months but it was definitely worth the wait. Once I put a deposit on the car, I was kept informed about the transit updates and the wait was primarily due to severe global shortage of cars. Once the car was available at the dealership, it was a really smooth process. Seth at the dealership was super friendly and showed us all around the vehicle and allowed us to test drive twice. Overall we loved the ambience at the showroom and it was a stress-free experience. Fred who helped us with the paperwork was very friendly and patient. Kudos to the entire Stevens Creek Mazda team!

They have very good and helpful sales and finance team, Ryan is their sales manager and he is helpful and professional. My Sales agent was Tony. He is very polite, helpful, professional and not pushy. He was with me and did great follow up from first to the end. He is one of the best in this dealership. He did his best to made deal happen and very positive and open to negotiate that is very important. Highly recommend him if you wanted to buy used/ new car from this dealership.

(UPDATE) They end up didn't perform a draw test as they think it may not necessary. So the $220 inspection fee hasn't been charged at the end. But yes, there was only a new battery replacement without comprehensive checking under the hood. I hope the bad battery is the only damage to cause the vehicle not to work. Let me see how far it last behind the wheel. Beware of this dealer's maintenance. I doubt their maintenance quality, and they don't warrant what they've inspected. I have been their royalty customer for the past four years as the staffs were nice and the place is comfortable. Now, I think I won't come here again, and find other dealers instead. I just got my routine maintenance for my 2018 cx-5 in there last month (12/8). The end of the report of vehicle inspection showed that the battery and electrical cable, and other things under the hood were good. But a few days ago (just around a month after the visit), the car can't startup out of the blue. Then I ordered a multimeter and jump-start kit to figure the root cause should be due to dead vehicle battery. Today I jump start my car and drive to this dealer. I expected I should only need to pay the cost for the new battery and a reasonable labor fee as they haven't diagnosed this risk. But they requested (estimated) $220 inspection fee upfront. Ridiculous! I doubt what I paid for the maintenance inspection? Does anyone expect your car will not work RIGHT AFTER the maintenance? and actually, the report shows that your car was every work well! I think the purpose of the inspection report is to let the car owner be somehow confident of their car condition. They don't willing to admit this mistake. SO, now I worry would that a similar problem happen soon after this visit, and they request another $220 again.

Mike McGhee is the best you can hope for with car sales. I have purchased two cars with him, both from Mazda and had a wonderful experience with both transactions. The staff was very knowledgable, friendly and worked with me on my trade in to get an agreement we were both comfortable with. Would 100% go back!

I leased a brand new MX-30 EV car the same day when Christopher Do first introduced the new model and provided exceptional experiences. His knowledge of car itself and honest feedbacks (both pros and cons) convinced me to make the lease decision within a couple of hrs. Brought the car from this dealership brand new. The sale manager ripped us off with unclear sale pitch on extending warranty on the features of the car that came with, all these years I let that go. Every time we bring our car here we have to deal with smart mouth service reps who doesn't listen to our concern and asking irrelevant questions. I'm done with this place. DON'T BUY THE SCAM EXTENDED WARRANTY. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING DEALER SAID THEY CLAIM TO DO FOR YOU IS IN WRITING BECAUSE, BECAUSE ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WILL DISAPPEAR AND IS YOUR WORDS AGAINST THEIRS.

The customer service is horrendous So now “Their truck goes down” and they don’t even bother to advise you that oh hey we won’t be able to deliver to you..had to pry this info from them…I didn’t know that I was to have telekinesis or psychic powers and had to figure out or assume that they are having issues on their end..it’s called a simple phone call..but no you had us wait..sitting as if it were coming still. Bad business all around. Never ordering from them again

Don't let the renovation put you off visiting Oak Tree Mazda, because once there, Ignacio Carrillo (and his manager Radu) will guide you through selecting the right vehicle, taking it for a test drive and smoothly walking you through the buying process. Ignacio is also very authentic and acknowledges your requirements, which adds to the buying experience. We bought a 2021 CX-5 CE and love it, even though it was not our first choice. Oak Tree Mazda is not marking up its prices due to the "chip shortage", unlike other dealers out there and this played a huge part in our decision making process. Jorge Velazquez walked us through the finance process and we appreciated his attention for details and flexibility too. Lastly, if you're still on the fence about Mazda, look up Mazda Connected Services, which they hardly promote! Great surprise for us as we only found out about this after the purchase. A good way to keep an eye on your vehicle from your phone! We'll definitely do business again with Oak Tree Mazda.

Update in 2022-03: Lowering the rating to 1 star. Received very unprofessional and sarcastic replies from one of their online sales specialist just by nicely asking if they offer rentals. Capitol Mazda's response is much more professional than this even they don't offer rentals, either. ---- More on unethical behaviors here. My friend bought a new Mazda 3 there, got the service light on after about 6 months. Checked the maintenance notification options in the infotainment system, found that the service due was set to manual instead of automatic: 5000 miles or 6 months in manual mode, while the owner's manual suggests a service schedule of 10000 miles or 12 months. Switched to automatic, and the service light is gone. I also remembered they tried to sell a service plan when she bought the car, by telling us the car needs maintenance every 5000 miles or 6 months. Before my friend, I was also there checking out Mazda cars, and they were trying some weird sale techniques on me, and asked me for my SSN while I clearly told them I was in the research stage for my first car. You could get a good price here, but you should be really knowledgeable and careful about them.

I searched this place and decided to come for a regular 35k service because of their good ratings. They really tried hard to professional, printed out my old service history and told a bunch things I should not do back then. However, there are multiple items on their own list (which quoted me a ridiculous $1600) that according the mazda user manual do not need to be performed at 35k, including automatic transmission fluid (90k), fuel and air induction system (this is not even on the manual, general recommendation is 60k), spark plugs (40k), and I stopped here, don't want to waste more time on a service list full of traps. I guess they do well in selling cars by tricks like these and their "professional" received such high ratings. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE.

I got my first car here. As a new driver who does not know much about cars, DiAngelo helped me quite a lot by explaining details patiently and pulling different cars to test drive. Worst service that you can imagine. Prices all higher that neighboring Mazda services. Avoid. They take your car from 8 am to 4 pm for only oil and filter change. No new customer special, no car wash, nothing. Only charge you higher.

Totally solid dealership and used cars here. Bought a used 2012 CX-9. Had a great salesmen, Alex. He was super transparent, quick to get me data and requested paperwork, and wasn't pushing enhancements/ warrantee's on me after his first pass. I had such an amazing experience at Oak Tree Mazda, heavily due to Alex who helped me out and was an all around incredible sales rep! I came in pretty sure of what I wanted to try and was interested in test driving the Miata to help me make a decision. Alex helped talk me through additional considerations and things that I hadn't thought of across the various trims. He gave me tons of information, let me try out the hardtop and soft top models and most importantly, gave me time to make my decision without pressure which helped me so much. He was always available via phone to answer questions and even went out of his way to help me find exactly the specifics I was looking for. In addition to all of this, Alex helped me out with the numbers and I felt he was really looking out for my interests. I used this place to service my car for the past 3 years. It's expensive but the technicians were professional, so no complaint there. Last week I went in for my "3 yr service" on my 2018 CX-9, and was quoted $1600+tax for the "minimum option". From the quote, it's just to inspect everything and change some basic fluids and 4 wheel alignments. Nothing major is done. I took the quote home and did some digging by myself. I found out that most of the items there were not necessary according to the owners manual. For example, differential fluid and transfer case fluid only needs to be changed if the car is submerged in water. Moreover, the even get the basics wrong! My 2018 Mazda CX-9 needs oil type 5W-30, not 0W-20. This is nothing short of highway robbery. I won't ever go back to this place again. From now on, I will have my service done at reputable mechanic shop near by.
