Stearns County Abstract & Title Co. Courthouse Sq, St Cloud

I had the best experience at Stearns County Abstract! Buying a house for the first time is stressful but my experience here was anything but. Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming and to top it off when the previous owners of my house surprised me with multiple damaged appliances they pitched in on repair funds out of the goodness of their hearts! I would give them 6/5 if I could.

So thankful for all of Anne’s help.  Another title company had messed up something on the title of our house.  We only happened to find it when we went to the courthouse to get a copy of the record.  Anne was able to get us an appointment swiftly, she took care of all of the details we needed and we were able to get the situation resolved quickly.   She was a total life saver.  If we had gone here first we would not have needed to do the process twice.

I called them up and was emailed that I would have quick results the next morning. I then received a 2nd email later that day, saying it was against the law for them to get my results because the courthouse records were not public. I asked why they said that...and the reason was laughable. This is America! All courthouse records are public unless they are sealed by the courts. They said they could not get a copy of a "private" record for me. and they started to rant and was about to hang up on me, when I calmly asked them if they could recommend someone else. They said no and abruptly hung up. The employee, Chris S. should be given some additional training or fired as he was extremely rude and gave false information. I'm one of the most patient understanding people on the planet!! but the way I was treated by this company, I will never do business with them. Go anyplace else! I called somebody else from a different company and i got the same exact results and they were finished in the same day, without any hassles and excuses!!
