We mostly bank at the 48th and Broadway office. They are always very friendly and take wonderful care of us. Many of the staff members remember my husband and I by name before we ever tell them. As for the person who posted the negative comment a week ago. I have had my credit number stole once and my husband has once in the last 8 years. The bank contacted us immediately and shut our cards down. Both times State Street Bank helped us figure this out and took care of us. It is not completely up to the bank to protect our accounts and cards. It is also our duty as the customer to be careful of who we give our card/account numbers too. So if State Street Bank truly didn’t help you 3 times that your card/account number was stolen, I am going to guess you need to be more careful.

I stopped by on a Friday and didn’t realize you needed an appointment to get in the lobby. I called and they let me right in, answered a million questions, assisted me with both of my needs and everyone I encountered always had a smile on their faces! Grateful to have a hometown bank and couldn’t imagine banking anywhere else!

VERY unprofessional!! Seems if you don't bank with them they bully you into it. I called and asked if they notarized. They said yes so I went there and when I ask for a notary they told me I have to have an account. Went all they way there just to be told that!!!!

    Response from the owner

Mr. Muschick Sorry for any miscommunication on our part. You should have been notified at the time you called to inquire about our Notary service, that we only provide this service for our customers. Providing this service comes with a certain amount of liability on the part of the bank. Our goal is to mitigate our liability and not “bully” anyone into banking with us. I hope that you accept our sincere apology! Mike Mahair President

Do not work well with customers at all. Very unprofessional, there are always accounts and cards being compromised due to lack of encryption and security. Had a card compromised and they basically said I was out of luck. Do not bank with this sorry excuse of a bank, if you want peace of mind and to be treated like a customer should be look elsewhere and avoid this place at all costs. My account was compromised not once but 3 times.

    Response from the owner
