I have banked there for 19 years, and love how friendly and helpful they always are. It's nice to go in and have people know you by name and say Hi! Been super happy with the way they went out of their way when I had a problem with a bad check someone gave me. LOVE this bank.

Horrible bank! I called in to ask a question on my account and needed something updated. I had to answer some crazy questions that they pull from public records that could be wrong like did you live on random streets etc..and if you don't answer one right they refuse to help you. You can't give other relevant information to prove your identity like maybe info that's current not from 20+ years ago. Now I have to go to the bank directly to prove my identity. I am definitely moving my accounts to a bank who values their customers.

I closed my account with wintrust. I stopped using their bank because they are still in the past, they haven't modernized anything. When I would deposit CASH to my account via the ATM I would have to wait for the teller to count it at the end of they day, before it hit my account. The same with checks, they clear the ATMs at night when the bank closes and then they put everything in the accounts. So, using their ATMs was pointless. Also, it would take days for a check to clear even though it was from the same bank! Now I just cash my checks there weekly and I am charged a $5 free since I am not a "customer" anymore. This specific location has a male teller (don't know his name) who is very nice and helpful.

Absolutely terrible customer service skills. The teller treated me as though I was an inconvenience and smelled horribly of cigarette smoke
