STAR Financial Bank W Berry St, Fort Wayne

I have been banking with Star Angola Indiana Steuben county for approximately 20 years. I live in Michigan but have kept star financial as my bank because of how well I they have treated me. I know Jamie from the Angola Branch has always been friendly and helpful to me. I would recommend Star Bank to anyone that would ask me about starting an account at a bank.

I have been banking here for over ten years now and while the staff does change out frequently they are always polite and helpful. What more can you ask. They always make me feel welcome and know me by name. The manager here is accessable and that's more than I can say for most managers. It feels like a small family owned place. I love doing my banking here and will continue to do so! Thank you guys for everything you do for us. I could not ask for more from you all.

If you want to deal with a highly professional, customer focused financial institution that values local human interaction over computer centric solutions, STAR is for you! STAR has a great on line presence as well, but I greatly appreciate STAR for the ability to talk with a person that understands my perspective when I am trying to solve a banking problem and their willingness to go the extra mile to help resolve it!!

Horrible bank and horrible service. They only want to give outrageous overdraft fees, even though your account is nit supposed to be in the negitive. They make it go in negitive so they can slap you with ridiculous amounts of fees. Im closing my account. I have a new bank that does NOT steal money from my account. I also have a lawyer. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK WITH ANY OF YOUR MONEY.

The staff at this branch is very welcoming and helpful. I was a bit reluctant to switch when they closed the Coliseum location because it was so close but don't regret it at all now. The building interior is breathtaking. They have extra lanes for drive-thru if you prefer that service.

My husband is out of town and called the customer service number to get an increase on his ATM card. They did not put it through. We had to call the the branch first thing on Monday to get it taken care of. I also had an incident where I needed to dispute a charge and customer service told me to call the bank that made the charge. The bank was closed and it was in North Dakota! We live in Indiana. I honestly feel they need to improve the customer service after hours. The branch is excellent! They are always helpful and do as we request.

Great place to work and/or bank! Family friendly environment with people that truly care about you. Customer service and communication is outstanding.

I love everything about Star bank. Banked with them now for 11 years. All other branches are superb and amazing service. Im here now giving 2 stars for one reason. The lady named Karma. Just the absolute worst customer service person ive ever dealt with. Such an off-putting aura about her. Always rude, never a smile. Never a how are you today. Never have a good day. Maybe its because i dont have thousands in my account but she is never nice to me. I watched her one time do a withdrawl for me from the back teller computer, she scrolled through my transactions. Id say thats illegal. F you karma!! U suck!! Will always love Star bank tho. But she is the reason for the 2 stars!

Good service most of the time at the branch... but the policy makers are rude pencil pushing geeks with no concept of the real world... I am changing banks again... This is the 3rd change in 25 years... which is to say... I'm not overly picky... Do not waste time with Star... or Chase for that matter... That was the 2nd bank in 20 or so years at the time...
