We have had our mortgage with Standard Mortgage for years. We recently refinanced to take advantage of the super low rates. Chad made the process SO easy! Everything was done via email, which was SUPER convenient for us! My only complaint is about the Underwriting. There was a hold up on the employment verification for a short time. The employment for my husband has not changed at all since we purchased this house 15-16 years ago. He works in oilfield construction, and as we all know, this field is affected by politics, permitting process, fuel prices, etc. There is, and always has been, periods when he is laid off for a couple of months. When we refinanced, he was laid off at the time. Having said that, we submitted last 2 years tax returns. Once I complained and explained that his employment has always been this way and that nothing had changed since the purchase of this home years ago; also advised that our credit scores and payment history proves we haven't had any struggles, the process was able to continue. I'd rate the process as A+! Than you Chad for your help and for the most part seamless transaction!
