My experience was great with Standard Mortgage. I was informed and helped every step of the way during the process. Mrs. Sharon Robbins was great to work with and was always in touch if I had any questions. I 100% recommend Standard Mortgage for anyone looking for a mortgage for their future home!

My wife and I were looking for a mortgage company and was referred to Standard Mortgage. We were first time home buyers so we were new to all of this and we were completelylost as to what to do. Ms. Sharon and the staff at Standard Mortgage made EVERYTHING from applying for a loan to the day of closing, everything was painless and easy. We put an offer in on a house July 12, 2021 and we literally closed on it August 13th!! They were on top of all the paperwork, there was no lag time with them unlike other companies that I have read about. They were really so easy to talk to, any questions we had, she got back with us right away. When it came down to the interest rate, we were completely shocked and so were other lenders at how competitive Standard Mortgage was and how low we got our interest rate. They were literally a whole point lower than anyone else!! If you are in need of a LOCAL mortgage company, call Ms Sharon or anyone at Standard Mortgage!! Staff was very polite, professional, courteous and most of most of was very customer focus. Customer service was above the top. I have referred and would return to the Baton Rough office again for service.

This company will force insurance coverage on accounts without adequate warning and at egregious prices. Even after providing evidence of adequate insurance that was in place, they will still refuse to correct their mistake. WARNING. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

As a first-time home buyer, I didn't know where to start with the home buying process, but I reached out to a Standard Mortgage loan officer (Giulianna) and started the process. She not only answered all my questions but explained how and why everything worked - that really eased my mind. There were a few small hiccups, but nothing serious.
