    We we’re the victim in a accident. The person that hit us was very nice and apologetic and had Standard Insurance. We filled out paper work 2 weeks ago hadn’t heard anything. Called this Morning and was told they needed to verify the car was ours. We did that. Then we received an e-mail with the adjuster estimate. It’s was about 1/2 what several body shop estimates were. Then I asked about a rental car the response was we’ll reimburse you $30 per day with proof of rental. YOU CAN’T RENT A HORSE FOR $30 A DAY! Best deal I found was $96 per day for a comparable car like we have. Looks like this is going to be a battle. We’re the victim here and I have to pay 63% of a rental car and the insurance company pays 33%? guess this is why insurance company can make money. This is just not right.

    We have had Standard for years at a time over the span of the last 10 years. I called to add a new vehicle and was basically told to find new insurance because our daughter has her permit. Totally confused, as we had an older child with a permit just 2 years ago, I asked her to explain it to me and they simply couldn't. We have to have her covered, because she has to have her driving hours, but we can't insure her, because she has a permit not a license. Every other agency I contacted told me she should be listed, but was covered under us. The communication was lacking horribly, and it seemed as no one had any real explanation other than, "because we can." I began searching insurance companies to find that a claim that was filed on me a year ago was labeled at fault, leaving me in a huge bind with sky-rocketed rates. I never heard anything about this accident after calling in myself to report it, explaining the situation and being told they would get parking lot cameras. This was a minor accident, that I should not have been at fault for, but due to no willingness to investigate it on their part, I am left here. I am so disappointed. We have trusted this company and should have done more research.

    If I could give a negative number I would. Sure you save lots of money to begin with but don’t get into an accident within the first 60 days of having or even renewing your auto policy because they will drop you and only give you 3 days to find a new insurance. So beware; you are not covered for a full year, there is a 60 day probationary period that gives you absolutely no grace, and we were with them for 3 years. Your coverage is only for 10 months.

To clear some items up, the policies we provide are 12 month policies (365) days and will coverage is afforded during the specificed policy period as long as certain policy stipulations are met and appropriate premium provided during such time. There are many different reasons/scenarios as to why a policy may discontinue and are normally unique in circumstances.     I have been shopping around for a while for new auto and home insurance. Standard Insurance rates are GREAT! Elizabeth Dietz was very professional and courteous when helping me get my policies started. She helped me get everything done in less than an hour. Also, I had the pleasure of being helped by Lynnette Holley. She was so helpful and encouraging! I can't say enough good things about my experience so far! I would highly recommend this Insurance company! They are friendly, personable and affordable!

    Michelle was Wonderful. I called her yesterday inquiring about my account and advised that Allstate was wanting to give me a quote. She asked if I wouldn't mind her taking a "look see" at my policy and premium and see that she could do. She reached out to me this afternoon with a new rate of +$40 per month lower than my current monthly premium. I am over the moon grateful! EVERY time I contact Standard Insurance, even if just to update my address or ask a question, their staff is ALWAYS professional, kind, and enjoyable to chat with.     I just called Standard Insurance to make a change to my Auto Policy and Donna Swisher assisted me. I dreaded having to add a vehicle because it is a fairly new vehicle and a luxury model. I just knew my monthly payment was going to go up. To my surprise Donna was able to lower my monthly payment. She is great! I can't be happier.     Wow they were So helpful with our dealings with another insurance company and helped us Way more than Allstate, who the person who was at fault , carried them for they’re auto. Honestly if it wasn’t for Rebecca and Debbie we still wouldn’t have had it resolved. I love this insurance company I have Great rates for my Auto! You guys are awesome, Thank You So Much! I would also like to give a thank you to Eric McFadden who got us an Awesome FULL coverage rate to our new vehicle thank you All so very much... They are the BEST!😊

    Worse experience I have ever had with a company. I had a claim for under $1500 that took over 3 months to settle. I had a note / admission of guilt from the other driver. Once my car was in the shop there was a supplement that was needed because the insurance company under-quoted labor. They took a week to take care of the supplement and been without a car for several weeks. This whole time I was without a car I did not get a rental because they would only give me $35/ day. I cannot find a single rental for under $90 and am not willing to cover the difference. Not sure how this is even legal. They rarely answer the phone, and either lie or are clueless when trying to transfer me saying the agents are on vacation when they are not. Horrible experience with them and would not recommend to anyone.

    Have been with this company for approximately 20 years and am very disappointed. I have filed claims the past 6 years to have my roof replaced due to hail and storm damage. Each time the claims have been denied. After this last major storm in March of 2022, the company sent a check for only $2k to replace 1 shingle as well as rain gutter and window damage. Not quite understanding how my roof supposedly has very little damage and yet 5 of my neighbors have had their roofs replaced within the past 3 months. You sure have been quick to accept my insurance coverage payments over the years, but unable to reciprocate in our time of need. Will be moving on to a better insurance provider and looking forward to superior customer service elsewhere.

    I first chose Standard Insurance for the lower price. I've stayed with them not only for the price, but the excellent customer service. Everyone I've dealt with over the years has been professional, yet very courteous, and friendly. Shout out to Erich McFadden who recently helped me so much with changes to my policy.     My sister was using Standard, and sang their praises to me, so i checked them out. I couldn't be happier with Standard Insurance Agency. I just saved slightly over half the price for the exact same level of full coverage insurance for a 2016 Honda CR-V that I had been paying Progressive Auto for. The agent I worked with, Ricardo Cardenas, was completely knowledgeable about all the aspects of the coverage options, and able and willing to explain everything logically and well. I trust what people say when what they say makes actual sense, and when Ricardo says something, it actually makes sense. It's rare to find his level of competence, combined with someone very nice to work with. I also enjoyed and appreciated the professionalism and nice personality of Wayne Shepard, the branch manager. Candidly, I would have been content with just getting a Good product at a great price. But ti was also very enjoyable because of all the nice folks there. Standard has earned my highest praise and recommendation - and I'm not easy to please.

    I recently had to change my policy to a newly purchased vehicle. I had the pleasure of working with Kim Colwell. She was extremely helpful and the experience could not have gone better! I have been with Standard for 5 years now, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Doing business with them has always been easy and efficient. A few years ago my vehicle was backed into by someone in a parking lot. The claim process was easy and they took care of everything.     I love this place, been with them for seven years, never had any issues. Excellent customer service, I spoke with Kim Colwell this morning she was very professional and answered every question and took care of everything in a very short time, plus I received the best discount.
