can I give negative stars? I was looking to get rid if my kioti tractor that i still owe on the salesman said we could possibly do something and would have the owner call me back. After I talked to a very angry Bill Spear (the owner) being extremely rude to me on the phone where a simple no we cant do anything would be fine and I told him that he continued to be rude and hung up the phone on me. Would not recommend buying from here to anyone

First time tractor purchase here, and I am thoroughly pleased to have found Spear Tractor. Honest, upfront, and all around a great purchase experience. Craig was very informative and helped me determine a tractor that suits my needs best. Soon after the tractor was ready and delivered to my home by, william spear, the owner himself ! I highly recommend spear sales for all your tractor needs, and will be a return customer whenever I can. Thank you !!!!

Great place to buy and service landscaping and farm equipment. Bought new Scag in the spring and recently had it serviced. Sales personnel, service manager and parts department were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. When I had a question the service manager promptly returned my call. Highly recommend.

This summer we sent our tractor into Spears. It wouldn't start we had to have them pick it up. They charged $175 to drive 8 miles here and 8 miles back. They never gave us an estimate on any of the work they did. They had to clean up part of The tractor that mice had made a nest in and they did an oil change and replaced filters. They never talk to us about what any of it was going to cost. We are thinking that an Oil change and clean up is a third to a half of what they charged. No where near $961. With cleaning up the tractor from the mice and oil change and pick up delivery, Plus a little surprise charge of 30 $ for using our credit card to pay the bill it came to $961.55. We were very upset with the bill and the lack of communication from spears and the lack of estimates and knowledge that what they were doing was going to cost that much. We would never ever take anything back to them. This is fair warning to anyone else before you go there he careful because they don't care if they satisfy their customers. We spoke with the owner and they were awful to speak with. We will drive to Courtland Ohio for future services. I cannot believe that a company like this would not give you an estimate on what this would cost before you do the work. We also had no knowledge that they were going to charge us a credit card fee.

Completely unrelated to the tractor business Bill Spear is a shining example of the best of human nature. My motorcycle broke down in Chardon around 7pm Saturday evening. I was waiting for a tow truck that wasn't going to arrive until after 9 when Bill pulled up in his truck. He asked if I was okay and what I needed. When I said I was waiting for a tow he completely out of the blue said, "I have a tilt bed, I'll take you". He went back to his shop, got the truck, loaded my bike and took me to Kirtland expecting nothing but a thank you. When I wanted to give him some money and pulled the cash out of my pocket he saw a one on top and said "just give me the dollar". Words fall short of how appreciative I was of his help. I promised him that somehow I would find a way to pay it forward some day. Thanks Bill. You restore faith in the fact that there are good and unselfish people in the world. If our paths ever cross again trust me I will be there for you like you were for me.

Had great experience in purchasing a Gravely Zero Turn mower. In the process every single person I spoke with was great interaction. Both sales representatives Craig and Don were great, even had a chat with the owner Bill who was knowledgeable and helpful. Last but not least the finance rep Annette was fantastic! I would highly recommend Spear to anyone who wants to make a purchase in this area and who likes dealing with knowledgeable and honest people

I had been shopping for a ZTR mower for several weeks and had visited several different dealers. Spears team was by far the friendliest and most helpful of all the dealers I worked with. I purchased a new Scag Patriot from them and it was delivered less than a week later. I would highly recommend this company and the team of individuals that work there.

Spears has always helped me find whatever I needed.
