BUYERS BEWARE!!! THIS NEEDS A ZERO RATING. We're in our 50s and drove 2 hours to this place. Making this short we seen a vehicle online and went to test drive it, liked it, and signed that we wanted it but since after hours was told they would try to get us a better rate than our bank, called us next am, their banks were not better, so we called ours and they were much better. Got the loan after our bank talked to them and agreed. We went to get the check, already had insurance on it. They knew we were coming to get the vehicle. We just happened to call and tell them we're on the way. Salesperson said good, I'll get the vehicle serviced and the keys. So literally 30 seconds later he called back and said that the vehicle was already sold. Ha, we thought he was joking but no. Asked us why we wanted to talk to the manager but finally agreed. Final results, was told by the owner of the dealership Mr. Patel that we should've took the deal last night, first come first serve. Told him we did and was getting loan done and already had everything and was on the way. Oh well, not good enough. They have NO care for the customer, it's all about money. Their ethics stink ! Pirate organization!

Such a great experience. Very friendly staff- and as professional as you could ask for. Curtis Long worked a great deal for me, and I and extremely pleased. Way to go ! So nice to know there are still car sales locations that you can look forward to buying from. I would recommend anyone to go there first when looking to buy a car.

My husband and I went by the dealership because I wanted to look for me a "Toy" car. We were just looking, not ready to buy. I found a little Jeep Renegade that I really liked. Color was just what I had imagined having. Drove it. It drove good, road good, looked good. We drove it home and I have loved driving it around town and showing it off. Everyone at the dealership was great to work with.

He used to work in the service department so he's extremely knowledgeable about allot of things. He explained everything in detail and helped me understand all the bells and whistles in my brand new Jeep Compass Sport 4x4. I've used their service department before and they are A+! Honestly one of the best dealerships around!

I tried to buy a 2020 Gladiator from these guys. I live over 4 hours away so I communicated via text and phone prior to making the drive. The internet guy turned me over to a sales person upon arrival and she was quite pleasant and helpful. The sales manager stayed hidden in his little castle and wrote insulting remarks on his trade offer with a sharpie. He low balled the trade estimate from his original communications which would not have been so bad if not for the insulting manner in which it was presented. I declined the offer and drove over to Greer and bought an almost identical vehicle with 10,000 fewer miles for $3000 less than his deal. Avoid these people and go to Greer where you will get a better deal and some respect.

If I could give no stars I would. This has been one of the worse experiences to date. I was sold a car and the check engine light came on the day after I purchased it. My car has been to the service department 3 times. This last/current time they’ve had my car for 3 days and finally decided to give me a loaner (that I had to ask for, it wasn’t offered). I called the dealership after waiting the whole day to figure out why I haven’t been contacted and after being hung up on and put on hold a few times I was told nobody ever started my paperwork so I needed to come pick up my car (with the check engine light on) and they’ll call me when somebody gets to me. I don’t recommend this car lot or any of their services to anyone for any reason. A complete waste of time and money.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE! I purchased my vehicle here not even a year ago and have had on going issues with a brand new vehicle. Didn’t pull off the lot and they couldn’t get my gas tank door to open, three months later my radio needs replacing, 9 months later I’m having issues where my car doesn’t want to start sometimes. I keep taking it back to the dealership and the service department is so nonchalant stating it needs to be an on going issue. A brand new car should not have issues within the first couple of months purchasing it. I will NEVER buy another car from here again. Please save your time and check our Big O Dodge or Benson.

I’ve got a $124,000 Ram 3500 Limited Longhorn Dually. I notice that I had an abnormally in my right rear outboard dually tire showing white wall. My father inlaw who’s “retired from Michelin after 40 years” , stated It needed inspected asap to prevent an accidents. I took it to Spartanburg which is my close dealer and the service advised just came out hollering “ it’s not my problem, you need to call the tire company!” I bought the tire and wheel warranty for this specific problem , if it would ever arose due to me traveling a lot with work. After he was a smart a$$, I proceed to go speak with the gm who took up for the guys attitude. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I’d be willing to give them business and trade my truck in with them and order a new one from the. (That will never happen) I went to Big O in Greenville and got me squared away. Stay away from Spartanburg Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. 0/10

I had decided on a truck at a different dealership but they were closed when I went by. I had spent a few minutes with the salesman a couple of days before and really didn't want to buy from them anyway because of the "take it or leave it" attitude but let's face facts, that is the car market these days. I decided to ride up to Spartanburg Chrysler just to see what they had and I am glad that I did. Despite the current car market, they made me feel like my business was important to them and wanted to do everything possible to get me in the vehicle I needed. There was a medical issue with one of the employees that had left them short staffed and yet they still managed to provide excellent customer service. I have to mention my sales associate, Renee Torres. She was extremely knowledgeable about the truck I was interested in and provided me with information I hadn't even thought to inquire about. My experience was so pleasant that I would recommend Spartanburg Chrysler to anyone. Do yourself a favor and skip the other dealers and just make the drive to Spartanburg!

Sales guy was extremely cool and liad back. Upper management was rude, pushy and disrespectful. We walked out because I work as a first responder and get disrespected everyday, I refuse to be belittled while trading and purchasing a vechical. Upper management needs to rethink sales tactics if they think bullying is going retian customers. After that experience I would not purchase a car here if they were the only dealership for 100 miles. We were not once rude to anyone there. Treat humans better regardless if you make sales or not.

They only car about selling you a car and making max money for them self. Offers no rebates that I know doge was offering at time. Must have kept them for themselves. Will not return phone calls. I spent all day on the phone trying to get a receipt from where the tinted my window and all I got was questions about why I wanted it. This dealership is no good they only want to sell you as much as they can and be done with you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $ WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!

Came in today with an approved loan amount out the gate. First, they tried to low ball me on the appraisal of my car. They also tried to get almost $5000 out of me for a down payment. They completely lost out on a sale being greedy and telling me something bogus, like I already didn’t do my homework before I walked in the door. Wanted to give a price of 23000 for my trade in and then had the audacity to ask me why don’t I ask my lender for more money on my already approved loan, ha! I politely thanked them, walked out the door and took my business somewhere else. I then, took my Challenger to Carmax to get it appraised and they gave me a price, which was extremely close to my pay off amount and was basically close to what the trade in value should have been per NADA on my car. I went to Benson and not only did they match what was appraised from Carmax, but I also didn’t have to put any money down and I walked out with what I wanted, at a lower cost then what I was approved for originally. The sales guy was nice but buddy with the long beard, that tried to explain to me the stupidity on the trade in value, was cocky, arrogant and had a really poor attitude about him. And what’s sad is my best friends boyfriend, identified exactly who was talking to me and said the customer service from him is horrible.

Horrible service! Had my jeep towed in due to severe engine shakes and being unable to accelerate (I have 50k miles on the jeep) they call me claiming it was a leak in an o-ring and tell me the 60k jeep warranty won't cover this and that I have to used my extended that I purchased, 2 days later it's ready to pick up. I don't even get it a mile down the road and the same problem happens so I take it right back up. (Whatever happened to mechanics driving the vehicle to ensure its fixed properly) This time they tell me it's something else that now it's an ignition coil. Once again supposedly the 60k jeep warranty doesn't cover this and once again it's up to my extended warranty. Next day it's fixed and I pick it up. I got to thinking about it and actually called Jeep Customer service. Explained to them what was done and guess what they tell me...all of that is in fact covered under my jeep 60k warranty and that I shouldn't have had to use my extended warranty at all. This place is absolute trash and only wants to scam. I have opened a formal complaint against Spartanburg Jeep with Jeep as well as will be contacting the BBB. Needless to say I am beyond disappointed in the service here, lack of professionalism and overall dishonesty. I'm looking at trading in and purchasing a new vehicle next month and well one thing is for certain I will NOT be using spartanburg Jeep.

They never called me when my Jeep repairs were done. Complained to the management, heard nothing. Several months later I needed a code looked up. It was a four (4) minute job! They refused to do it and said I’d have to wait a couple days. Complained to management again and again heard nothing. Worst maintenance service ever! Don’t even bother with em! *As further evidence of their douchbaggery, the same dude responsible had the audacity to reply as though he wants to help! Yup, that’s him in the comments! I replied and was ignored. This is how they treat disabled Veterans!

Leased a 2017 Jeep from these folks through Ally Financial. Sales folks and GM at that time very diligent to say there wont be any problem turning Jeep in or purchasing at end of lease. Left message for Mr. Patel at dealership to no avail, and revisited dealership on 12/14/2020. Come to find out there's a dealer purchase price and a individual purchase price, and and was told by a sales manager that's just how business works. Naturally they were more than willing to put me in a new vehicle including that dealer cost through Ally. That's fine I'll purchase the vehicle. So I have sent emails as well as made multiple calls to Ally requesting the buyout letter so that I can purchase the vehicle through my credit union. This has been going on for two weeks now and today I have now spent over 8 hours trying to get a simple buyout letter from Ally, to no avail. Use extreme caution if you consider working with these folks or Ally Financial.

I had been looking for a Jeep Wrangler for several months.I had the privilege of meeting Renee Torres who is the most outstanding salesperson and warm and beautiful human being i have ever met.Besides knowing every aspect of the Jeep Wrangler's operational functions she was very attentive to all of my questions and never once interrupted or short answered me to try to make a quick sale.She allowed me to choose the vehicle i wanted and never tried to push a vehicle on me as i have seen past salespersons try to do in my travels.A beautiful human being inside and out who carefully followed proper covid protocols and offered me refreshments as it was very hot that day.If you want a person who has done their homework and can walk you inside and out of any vehicle on the lot then Renee is the person you want. She is very considerate and does not do the "pushy" thing.I am recommending her to all my friends and business associates and wish her well in her future dealings in sales.

So I visited this dealership about a year ago. A few nights after I bought the car, I found the one they sold me online for about 4K less than what I paid for it. I asked about this and (Tony) tried to tell me it was a typo but clearly was not. I still have the pictures to prove this. I also uncovered by my bank that (Bryan) completely fabricated my income by 3k/ month and lied about my job status. I have proof of this as well. I asked for but never received a copy of my credit application. I am still financially recovering from the situation they put me in which was a completely fraudulent deal. I had positive equity on a trade in and over 4K down and ended up 10k upside down. I have served my country for almost 10 years in the US Army and I am completely disgusted that this is the service I received from my own country and especially my home town.

Poor customer service. Spoke with Kempton the “internet sales manager” on Thursday about a truck that was in transit. I felt the reply I received regarding the truck was very generalized and not an actual person. I sent another email to verify that I was interested in the truck and would like to come look at it, once it arrives. Monday morning I reached out to their live chat again to verify that they were still going to contact me as soon as the truck was in. They then informed me that the truck was now there, and I could schedule a test drive for 5pm. I asked them to verify that the truck was actually there, because I am 2 hours away and I didn’t want to drive down and find that it still had not arrived. They verified it was in fact there, and I began my 2 hour drive. Thirty minutes later I get an email saying “the truck has been sold” I’m not sure if this person knows the first thing about their job. I’m not sure if they actually did sell the truck, or this person still has no clue if it’s there or not. The listing still has not been removed from their website, and still shows in transit. I was never able to get a straight answer from this person. I’ll never buy from this dealership based entirely on the run around I have gotten pre sale. The work done in the Service department is almost always high quality, but good luck getting anyone on the phone if you need to call for whatever reason. You will just get transferred to a line that no one ever answers. Unfortunately there's no way of getting a hold of anyone unless they reach out to you.

Inquired via the website regarding a 2022 Jeep Gladiator and asked for pricing. They wrote back and gave a total price, however I asked to see the breakdown (selling price, discounts/incentives, fees, add-on’s, etc,) and gave my phone number if it was easier to text vs. email. My request was ignored and I’ve yet to hear back. Edit - after leaving my initial review, I was quickly contacted and received an apology and the out the door number breakdown. When it came to trade, they offered less than KBB “fair” condition price on a barely used 2022 vehicle with 5,000 miles. So they weren’t even in the ballpark with trade compared to the other quotes I received. On the plus side, I didn’t see any add-ons or markups on the work sheet, just not competitive with trade.

Despite ending up with a lemon of a used car that I purchased somewhere else, I always took it here for servicing and repairs. The crew here always went above and beyond to get things properly repaired and help make it as accommodating as possible. I was offered a free shuttle to work and a loaner when needed. They also bent over backwards to work with the extended warranty reps that had to come out and inspect the vehicle for the claim. My experience with SCDJR was consistently 5 stars through all the years and multiple visits.

Terrible experience while looking to purchase at this dealership. When we got to the dealership the first salesman walked off. That should have been our sign to leave but we asked for another salesman and got one who seemed helpful. He was not pushy while in the dealership but after a severely low offer on our trade in he suggested we leave to sell the car and come back. I stayed in contact as I looked to sell the car and soon after I contacted him to figure the best price on the car we were looking to buy and found out that the posted price on the website is only good if you qualify for 100% of the rebates offered. When I asked why I told to goto carmax to buy a car and hung up on. Do yourself a favor and drive to any other dealership to buy a car. I had better offers and prices given to me at 3 other dealerships before deciding what I wanted to do but Spartanburg is the absolute worst service I have ever received at a dealership.

My entire experience with this dealership has been exceptional. Starting wtih Philip (online/internet salesman), to Scott Burgess (in store salesman), to Lenny (service department). Because of Philip's quick response to my online search, I was able to buy the exact Jeep I wanted the day after my first search. I can't thank Scott Burgess enough for making the purchase as smooth and easy as it could possibly be. In a time when most car lots are empty and people are having a hard time finding cars, Scott was able to find the car I wanted in the color I wanted that day and it was in my garage two days later. I called to make an appointment for a minor issue on my car (can't adjust the liftgate height), he told me to just stop by any time, at my convenience and he would see if it was something he could fix on the spot. When I showed up one afternoon, he was as kind, patient and helpful as he could be despite being very busy at the time. He did not try to rush me in and out and researched the issue as much as possible. Unfortunately, he was unable to solve the issue. I am not happy with Jeep over this issue, but I couldn't be more thankful and grateful to Lenny for all his help and kindness toward me. April 8th, purchased what we were told was a brand new "flawless" 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T from Spartanburg Dodge, which at the time was at their "sister dealer" in Lake Keowee & would be delivered to Spartanburg. Picked up car on April 11th. Was told by Brandon, salesman, there were couple dents so bring it back once we return from our upcoming vacation. Days later discovered front end was off centered & appeared to be coming apart, hood was higher on one side than the other, "orange peel paint" on the front bumper area (which some use to describe the texture of paint that comes from a repair, nothing that would occur at manufacturing), & several other concerning "damages/defects." Pics & texts sent to Brandon. He said they'd take care of it as soon as we return & they'd get to the bottom of things from Lake Keowee. We return April 26th & dropped off car April 27th. Brandon says Lake Keowee was refusing to release info but they'd keep trying. May 12th Brandon says car is ready, everyone went over it w/ fine tooth comb & it's perfect. We arrive & find front end still off centered, discover a new dent on passenger side, discover several spots on the front & on back driver side that felt like grains of sand under the paint, then notice driver side door is a completely different shade of purple! Brandon says they'll find a different body shop & fix it. We express concerns that there was obviously an accident that is being covered up & ask about getting a replacement car. He states there are 2 R/Ts onsite but they're cheaper, not the same features. He then says custom order may be an option. Tells us to think it over & he will discuss with mngrs. Next day we arrange a time to speak w/ all mngrs, including GM. We were told they would be there. We get greeted by the Service Mngr who says they will send it to a new body shop & fix it. We insist on seeing the GM since that was the purpose of us coming. Wes the Sales Mngr comes out. We get the same song & dance, they'll find a new body shop & make it 100%. We express concerns that without knowing what happened to the car we don’t know what kind of long-term issues could spawn off from it. Not to mention we paid for a brand new, undamaged car. It's obvious this car had been in an accident. He agrees, says they still haven’t gotten any info from Lake Keowee but have Chrysler checking to see if there were any accidents reported during transport. After we state we want a new car equal to what we were under the impression we were purchasing, he stated until they get info from Lake Keowee their hands are tied & nothing they can do but fix the current car since Chrysler has agreed to pay for all that. He then had the nerve to say this is ultimately Lake Keowee’s problem not theirs & isn't willing to lose $15k (not sure what that amt was relevant to). Then says he'll keep working on things & will call us Mon by 1:00 for update. Finally spoke to Wes Mon eve, who says he found out the car had in fact been damaged during delivery to Lake Keowee, was repaired & bumper replaced. We asked why wasn’t that disclosed. He stated damages under $500 doesn’t have to be reported. We again expressed concern w/ how shady that was, considering the "recent" repairs alone surely exceeded $500 (that was after the first "hidden" repairs & new bumper was done thru Lake Keowee). Wes admitted it was odd but only passing on info he got. We once again said we wanted a new car of equal value. He said he'd look to see what options he could find. We also brought up the ”custom order” option Brandon previously mentioned. Wes said that wasn't an option for us because the car they sold us was a 21 & the custom option was only for 22. We also brought up the fact that if we did swap out cars we were concerned we'd end up monetarily penalized on something that was their fault. Then asked if we'd get penny for penny credit for what we paid them on this car. He stated he would “try” but couldn’t guarantee it. (Couldn’t guarantee the unethical sale they handled wouldn’t cost us more money, laughable!)

Ask for Renee! I have not come across many genuine honest car salesmen or women. Renee is honest, trust worthy and caring! If you are in the market she’s your go to gal!

Service at this dealer is the worst I have ever experienced. They leave you on hold forever and when you do finally get your car back you find that they have charged you twice the going rate. Reviews have my repair costing between 250 and 700…they charge 895 for replacing a 35.00 Orem part.

In 1977 I fell in love with a black and tan Golden Eagle and promised myself I'd own one. I purchased the first Black And Tan edition last January and loving every single moment. The Jeep wave program has given me the opportunity to meet Ron in the service department and I have to tell you he is top notch much like all the other associates there. I could have shopped elsewhere but these folks won me over from the second I stepped into their lot.

Great experience buying the car. Worst service experience. When I had a flat I had to drive the car in. When the battery went dead. I had to call for a tow myself. When I called for a tow with their terrible plan I got a jump start technician. Love the car but not worth the headache. Get a different car, or go someplace else. It’s not worth the headache.

The only reason why this isn’t a one star is because Jeff in sales was amazing and very kind over the phone. When I got there it was literally down hill from the sarcastic receptionist to the salesman (Amit Patel) who “helped” me. Completely forgot Jeff’s name when I got there and I’m sure I would’ve had a much better experience if I was with him but the man I was with wasn’t personable at all, it was a very rushed experience almost as if I wasn’t serious about buying a car because trust me I was ready. He literally left me while I was waiting for someone to pull up the car I wanted to look at. All he said was “y’all have a great rest of your day”. The whole experience was very confusing. Turns out the guy I was working with was a GM, not sure if he had something else going on but as a manager you are always supposed to make the customer feel as if they’re the only ones you’re working with.

Terrible customer service by Ricky in service department. Had an appointment that I was late, which I knew I would have to wait longer, but was told it would be the me start day. Then I told him the service was under warranty and he said he would determine that. Then was abusive to me claiming I hit something which I told him I did not. Then wanted me to sign a document stating I would pay $119 before they would eve look at it. I have 31,000 miles. I refused to sign and he told me go go elsewhere. Will never buy or service my vehicle from these thieves again.

Came in after reaching out about one of their pre-owned mercedes they had listed online. I recently bought a 2020 Dodge Challenger. Their online price was the price. It didn’t include a bunch of incentives that nobody qualifies for. They honored my supplier pricing that I qualify for. They gave me a good price for my trade in. This was the easiest car I ever bought and I’ve bought quite a few in my day. I didn’t have to waste all day playing the back and forth game. The salesman was very helpful and has called me twice to make sure that I was happy with the car. I highly recommend them. I don’t write reviews but I thought they deserved it.

Went to buy a used truck and the experienced from the Used car department was great. Extremely helpful and overall a pleasant experience. As for service i leave it to you to make a decision. Following other comments in the Reviews most people experience some issue from this department. So far i have not had any issues from the Service adviser themselves, though i do have a few complaints about the service performed. I feel as if the service is rushed, more quantity or quality approach. The image i provided was of a loose lug nut after i requested my brakes to be checked due to noises. I did not notice, or think to check these, until i was at home washing the vehicle. Needless to say, check your service after it is performed. People do make mistakes and i hope this isn't a common occurrence.

Very bad experience. Had arranged to buy a used vehicle that needed repairs. Sales Manager, Mike and Sales Associate, Renee both assured me all repairs would be completed before purchase. Each repair item was discussed, and I asked for a printout of what was to be done so that there would be no misunderstandings. When I came to purchase the vehicle after being told it was ready several days later, most of the repairs were not done or done very poorly. When I made objections I was promptly "blessed-out" by my Sales Associate, Renee. Although I was firm and justified in my objections, I was neither disrespectful or inappropriate towards her. Her unprofessional and abusive response was unbelievable. Needless to say I did not buy any vehicle from them.
