Huge SouthState bank fan and do most of our business. Only flaw was the drive through … waited 20 minutes to get service before any transaction.

Three years later, still the SLOWEST branch in Beaufort County. One person a head of me in line. 14 minutes later we are all sitting at the drive through! Why does it take 25 mins. To cash a check at the drive up? New employees every week, always asking for ID.....never happens at the Hardeeville branch!

Just spent 20 minutes at the drive through. One person a head of me. No direct phone number to this branch. How convenient. Through with this branch. Always take at least 30 min.

i give this branch a 5 star everyday of the week,they are more sincere with the way they interact with us the customer, then any other bank that i deal with,they always ask how my business is doing,when i have been in a pinch for funds they came through each time,once with a credit card line of credit..and just recently a small business equipment loan...they ROCK

DO NOT USE We recently relocated to Sun City Hilton Head and transferred our SouthState Bank accounts. We’ve had NOTHING BUT bad experiences from the get go. Today, I went through the drive through to do a withdrawal for me and one for a family member. They refused to do the withdrawal even though I am on the account? Time to change banks!!!

Customer service is to assist a customer NOT tell a customer that someone cant be trusted when they don't even know you. This person told their customer that she would not do a wire transfer to me because she didn't think he could trust me and that he needed to bring a Cashiers check. Well miss Know nothing about business, If you knew anything about business you would know that when traveling out of state NOBODY is going to allow a customer to take a $30,000.00 vehicle and pay for it with a cashiers check! If they do they are as untrained as you are. As for the Branch manager and the territory manager for the South State Bank in Okatie you are both just about as uncaring as Tanara Silva . Bryan Lester , You have had my phone number and your customers phone number since yesterday and you have not reached out to either of us to get this transaction settled! Because of you and the poor employee training your customer has made several trips to the above named branch and we are still no further along than when we first started over 24 hours ago. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE!!!

The okatie location on line claimed the drive thru closed at 6 on Friday but after 5:30 they were closed, at least they could do is update there website if that's the case. I sat there until 6 and counted About 20 more customers came thru but they were closed early.
