SouthState Bank Broad St, Sumter

Was sitting at the bank on broad street, Sumter SC for 1 hour waiting for the only customer service person that was helping someone. He came out and said I will be right with you, unfortunately it wasn’t. I left an hour later and soon as I walk out the people he was helping walked out. Now working in customer service for over 30 years he could have stop me and said I can help you and apologize for the wait. Since I was the only one waiting before anyone else came in it’s not like he didn’t know. I will never do business with them anymore going to close my account. Very upset and a very unhappy customer.

Worst Manager, Chelsea and employee Nargis from the Broad Street location. They change the rules and really put the screws to you if you demand actual customer service. They do not care about their customers, are arrogant and argumentative. They talk in circles without saying a whole lot of anything. I would never recommend this bank for anything.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Each visit to the bank has been very professional yet with a very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Chelsea Gillis and any of the staff for your banking needs.

Worst customer service inside branch. Literally talks to you in as if your illiterate. Cant not explain policies seems to make up rules instead of verification. And based on these reviews i wont even bother to speak with branch manager

Worst bank ever . They not even worth one star .

I've had my account for 5 years, since it was bank of America on broad st. The transition was smooth and amazing! I have a student checking account I pay no fees for, my paychecks are instantly put in my account the morning they're released from my office, and paper checks get instantly useable in my account by the time I walk to my car. Always quick, easy, and polite! Fraud prevention is on top of it, just unfortunately won't call you on q Saturday or Sunday. You have to call, but any other day they call to verify your card is safe and just turn it back on for you if it wasnt lost or stolen. Replacement cards come fast and easy, and changing my legal name was a breeze when I got married. I will never go anywhere else for banking!

Worst Bank ever! They deserve zero stars. The customers service is nonexistent. They go against the customer rather then try to help. The management is horrible and amateur. Save yourself lots of trouble Run the other way NOW!! I closed All (3) accounts Bc this bank is beyond Horrible.

I get coins rolls from this place all the time. Always will have quantity.

The number listed by Google says it's disconnected after three rings when u try to call it Google please update the info for that branch .
