The lady at the jewelry counter was helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and understood I was not your normal bride to be.

We came in on a Sunday not knowing the jewelry side was closed but they still accommodated us, and cleaned our jewelry. We will definitely be back!

I needed to get my tools out of pawn for a big job the next day and the hours of operation say 10-6p.m. online and are clearly printed on the door. It's 5:30 p.m. now and the store is closed. Bad business. I won't be coming back, plus the lady was rude when I pawned my stuff to begin with.

Came in to buy a older xbox 1 and the headset that came with it for 200 ask could I switch it with a different one for a upcharge he said no awesome well I was going to buy the xbox 1 anyway well when it came to checking it out it wouldn't even play the game disc so they were trying to RIP customers off be careful and make sure everything works or they will take your money and make you deal with it

My husband and I purchased my wedding ring from these guys, and the lady that assisted us was an older lady and she was more then helpful. I've always used this place to pawn things and all my experiences haven't always been as pleasant but she was very welcoming and discounted my wedding ring as well . The ring originally was 2,000 and my husband bought earrings that was 500 and she knocked 300 dollars off both items. So we basically got the earnings free . Also I went somewhere else to have my jewelry appraised and both items was worth what we spent so I'll be going in for a upgrade soon and hopefully my visit be as pleasant as the last one

I have not been to very many pawn shops but the ones I have been to I have had no problem with until today when I went here to Southside Jewelry and Loan. I had a Tablet that was in perfect condition, a 20$ case that has been on it since day one, a screen protector (also been on it since it first came out of the box), the original box, and charger. The tablet is flawless. I looked it up before I went in to see new and used prices and I could not find one under 130$ new the lowest prices were a little over 200$. I told them I needed 60$ and they said on Amazon they said was selling used for 80$ and offered me 20$. I asked them to show me and they couldn't. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to explain 20$ is ridiculous and they would mark it up to over 150$ and they said they would do 25$. I said screw this and the employee said f*** you. I left and went to First Cash Pawn. They were extremely nice and knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable, I had no problem getting 60$ they asked if I needed a little more even. I will never walk into Southside Jewelry and Loan again and I would not recommend this store to anyone. It is terrible.

I was looking for a unique design for my fiance's wedding ring. Angie and Natalie created an amazing piece at an unbelievable price. It's a one of a kind ring. If you want a stunning piece that no one else has I strongly recommend them. Very experienced and a clean and inviting showroom.

As a hearing impaired person, sometimes it is hard to navigate around stores I frequent due to the employees not being very helpful, patient, or sympathetic to my condition. However when it comes to Southside Pawn, I cannot stress enough the level of professionalism and attentiveness the employees of this store provide. On my last visit to Southside Pawn, I was hoping to purchase a diamond necklace for my anniversary, and one gentleman in particular, Andrew Schwan, exudes customer service. He quickly realized I was not your typical customer due to my disability, and then proceeded to grab a piece of paper and a pen so we could communicate on my intent. Within sixty seconds of connecting, Andrew had already been able to provide me an array of necklaces that all seemed perfect for my wife. Knowing I could only buy one necklace, Andrew assisted me in examining the qualities of each necklace. I know what your thinking, a salesman is always trying to sell the most expensive thing on the menu. Not Andrew. He helped me select a mid-priced necklace that was both in my budget and that my wife still wears to this day. To whomever is reading this review, you will be in good hands at Southside Pawn due to employees such as Andrew Schwan who not only listen to your needs, but care about your needs also

I purchased an air compressor from Drew about a month ago and was very pleased with the selection and his willingness to look for the right one in my price range. He even started up this loud machine in the middle of the store to make sure I was getting a working unit. I am actually looking forward to going back to get more tools and will be sure to ask for Drew.

Came in to get my ring down sized and they had it done by the next day! My ring turned out absolutely perfect and was cleaned and shined! You cannot even tell the ring was touched by a jeweler. I highly recommend this place for jewelry repairs over the chain stores who send your jewelry off and take weeks! Very affordable too. I'm very happy thanks guys!!

I waiting outside the place well over 10 minutes and they where supposed to be open at 10 am

Very unprofessional. Called up her & asked is the person there to put a battery in my watch & the guy over the phone said yes… only to get there 20 mins before they closed to find out that person left . Definitely recommend people to call around before coming here they always low ball you on everything.
