See edited post below - Difficult and confusing new policies at Sooper Credit Union - related to mobile deposits of payroll checks - create an unstable platform of security of funds. Never had a hold on a payroll check before resulting in negative balances. Everything is getting harder and harder to do these days. Used to be able to rely on my banking institution and their automated / online processes to make life easier. Not much the case anymore. Update - After receiving a call from the bank, first, I understand that they take these reviews seriously and made specific effort to address my concerns. Several steps were taken to correct the specific problem I called about. Further discussion addressed my concerns with some of the policies at the bank in general. Steps were taken to allay my fears that my finances may have been in jeopardy. Finally, I was informed that measures may be put in place in the future to eliminate any recurrence of the issues we discussed. Sooper Credit Union has been a valuable and trusted partner for 21 years and will continue to be considering the manner in which they handled this issue.

I would like give my high recommendation for loan officer Monique Lange! She helped me last year with my auto loan for my 4Runner which I had to go to Denver to pick up! She coordinated with a Sooper Credit Union office there to pay the seller on a Saturday! She's always prompt, helpful, friendly and keeps me updated with great communication! 5 star service all around!

I've had them for a few years as they helped me get my loan on my motorcycle but they are the most inconvenient bank I've ever worked with the website is spotty at best. The employees follow what they're told and it's to give you the run around trying to get anything done from getting a password rest to even getting ahold of someone or just a simple loan amount is worse than pulling teeth. 1 star is being generous

James Arrieta is an excellent loan officer! I had a loan with Sooper for an older vehicle, and I decided to buy a new one. I applied with Sooper but got the loan from the dealership in order to complete the purchase quickly. James helped me out with a refinance that will save me thousands of dollars and lower my already low rate by another full percentage! I'm super (hehehe) happy with the company and with the service I've received over the years of working with the company. Thanks so much for everything James!
