I typically bank with credit unions because they can be trusted. Soo Co-op Credit Union just converted all free accounts to a plan with a 4.99 monthly fee. They required you to go through the hassle of opting out of a plan you never asked for. I already have identity protection and towing service. This is the sort of scam you expect from big banks. Soo Co-op Credit Union can't be trusted. Open an account at another credit union instead.

I would give the no stars but than people would know to stay away from this bank. They have posted hours but are never follow them. The app doesn't keep up with your balance at all and that means you will over draft constantly if you yourself don't do the math for your spending. And the tellers are very rude and judgemental to anyone they want to. Do yourself a favor and don't bank with this company!!!

This bank does not care about the people who trust in this bank to store their hard-earned money. They will not help you find reasonable resolutions for charges that occur to your account, but more so interact with customers with a “it is what it is, I just work here” mentality. Bank elsewhere.

All good, great for shared-branch co-op network transactions. Safe, courteous, efficient service inside. There is also drive-up service.

An average financial institution. I often make loan payments by phone and its obviously an inconvenience for staff to conduct this service. It gets accomplished but its extremely slow and the general phone etiquette reflects the displeasure they have with my need to use this service.

Wouldn't trust any other bank with my money.

very rude customer service - not a friendly staff - and want to rush and get you off the phone quickly - dont recommend if you have to call the for anything.

The staff is very personable and courteous always ready to help and answer all your questions and concerns

worst credit union i’ve ever dealt with. did not reach out when my insurance sent them the wrong document, raised my interest rate without telling me, never called me or tried to contact me when a problem/ issue arose, etc. if you’re stationed here (MILITARY) STAY AWAY. it’s like absolutely no education is required to get a job at this place, every time i deal with them i feel like im talking to someone in a mock-finance highschool class.

The service is fast, and the tellers have always been friendly.
