Very nice people working there. The man I talked to was very polite and held a good conversation. The stores lighting was perfect, enough light to see with but not over bearing like other pawn shops. Didnt get to look around to much but it looked like the have a decent variety of good for sale. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the good work.

Steve is truly a great person as is the young woman who works here also. Solar loan, hands down, has some of the most unique items Ive ever seen at any pawn. Definitely take the time to check this place out, you won't regret it

My daughter and son-in-law stopped by this pawn shop to look for her engagement ring, the woman who worked in the jewelry section tried to sell them a fake diamond ring. She diamond tested it and claimed the diamonds were “to small” for the tester to read accurately and when my daughter went to leave she then claimed the diamond ring was “mislabeled”. They bought another ring and ended up returning it because they didn’t trust that it was real diamonds. When they went to return it the owner did everything to convince them not to return, including trying to sell them other rings and what not, when they finally got him to understand they wanted a refund, he became very unprofessional and rude. I would not shop here as they untrustworthy and unprofessional.

Took my son here for his first pawn shop experience. The owner was extremely kind. When my sone decided on the items he wanted, he was ready just to throw all his money at the owner. The owner took the time to teach my son how to negotiate on items. It was not only a sweet moment, but my son was walking on clouds knowing he got a deal on something. He definitely didn’t have to do that for my son, but it made his day! We will definitely be back!

I try to remain objective when giving reviews. You will see both good and bad. The pawn industry often gets a bad name; but this is not one of those joints. The owner and son are very professional/concise + fair on pricing. The merchandise in the store is high quality and eclectic with a large variety of Guitars. Plenty of parking in the back with entry from back parking lot.

Probably the nicest pawn shop I've ever been in. All of the merchandise is super clean and neatly organized. They had a great selection of used audio components to choose from all at reasonable prices. They also have a great selection of musical equipment and instruments. I will definitely be back.

My birthday was approaching soon, a milestone birthday. I like jewelry that is one of a kind. We decided to stop in to Solar. The woman that helped us was informative, helpful and fun to deal with. She helped us find the exact ring I was looking for. Ironically enough I had described the exact ring we found to my boyfriend that morning before we had left the house. I am so happy with the ring and service we received from Solar. Thank you Solar for your part in making my birthday special.

The owner is great to work with. My husband and I were looking for high-quality engagement rings cheaper than the main jewelry store prices. We visited the store one day in the summer on a whim, and found a beautiful ring. Several months later, we returned to see if that ring was still available. He remembered us and helped us find an even better, cheaper, perfect ring for me. He wasn't there to trick or swindle us; he was there to help us find exactly what we were looking for. His pricing was incredibly lower than most jewelry stores to begin with, and we were still able to negotiate to a lower price. We were able to afford my gorgeous engagement ring without taking a loan out for it! I'd like to give him 5 stars, however, the second time we came into the shop, he had a jeweler working with him. This jeweler had very poor social skills, and was breathing down our necks the whole time. He didn't let us have private conversations about the ring, and we left before making a decision because of it. BUT, the owner is wonderful to work with, and very helpful!
