I'm writing a 5-star review for Silver Leaf Mortgage, specifically Bob Muni, for actually not doing business with our family. My Mom is almost 90, living independently and beginning to develop memory issues. She got Bob's number from an acquaintance. My Mom contacted him several times insisting that she needed a reverse mortgage. It would have been very easy for Bob to legally (and to many, morally) complete and submit this mortgage application and get his commission. But instead he twice made the effort to get in contact with me and explain what was going on. After speaking, we both agreed that a reverse mortgage was not a good fit for her situation, and the mortgage process was cancelled. It seems like it's getting harder and harder these days to find people with Bob's integrity who make the choice to do "the right thing". I would 100% choose to work with Bob Muni as my mortgage broker if the need ever arises in the future.
