    Excellent customer service and quick, efficient service. Today, went to sign loan documents for my new car and sign up for extended warranty, and test drive the car, all within one hour or less and on my way home with my new car. That's what you call great service.... Internet Salesman, Troy and Salesman, Bob and the Business Office, Darrell took great care of us, and answered our all questions through countless emails, phone calls and in person appointment.     Excellent experience with the service staff. They didn’t think they could get to my car until the next day so we dropped it off at midday and received a text from Brian later in the day saying it was completely done and ready for pickup. We had a warranty item and two small retail jobs and I had estimated the repair cost and was way wrong. It was actually lower than expected. Quick easy check in and same for pick up. Excellent experience. Thanks for doing a great job.

    Great service today!!!! Had appointment at 1 for oil change service and I was out by 1:45. Joe was great to work with in the service dept as well. He didn't rush and made sure everything was done before I left. I always love dealing with service dept never let ya down.

    People working there are communicative and response quickly. Cars are well prepared and clean. Many choices of different models. With closing deal you need to be prepared for couple hours appointment. It takes a while to go through steps and paperwork. If you plan to sell the car do your research. Sometimes they really underestimate the value of your car. Other then that very good service.

    I went to Shelor with fingers crossed that something could work out today. And I was able to leave with a new car and a lot less stress and worry. The process was a lot faster than I thought it would be. Bob was a wonderful person to work with today, and I will absolutely go back for any trade-in or another purchase.

    I only provided 2 stars because I incorrectly showed up on the wrong day (1 day prior to my scheduled appointment) and they were kind enough to fit me in. That said, I have 2 concerns with my service: 1) they charged me $105 just to tell me that my work was not covered by my warranty- keep in mind they did no work just called to find out that my warranty did not cover the work and then charged me. I expect to be told “this process might not be covered and you should know it might cost $105 just to check.” They did not warn me. 2) they charged me for a part that was broken when I first received the truck and had been waiting to get fixed. It should have been covered by the warranty but it was not. I paid a lot for a warranty that only seems to cover catastrophic problems. Will not pay them that money again so they can refuse to honor the warranty based on their own interpretations.

    We will never be back, some of the things they do at this place is straight greed. The service department is trash. Every time I go in a female front desk clerk is very disrespectful, she will happily waste your time for the fun of it. I've never seen someone so happy to have you in there for 8 hours, and disrespectful the whole time you're there. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a car dealership.

    Shelor service center get a second opinion!!!!If I could rate 0 I would. They told me I needed brakes. They were “paper thin” and would “barely pass inspection”. The service ticket also includes the rear rotors to be machined… which he did not tell me about… I declined the service since it was still passing… I found out two weeks later from another mechanic that my brake pads were in fact fine and no where near needing to be replaced… so the service department was just going to charge me to “replace pads and machine rotors” that were in fact just fine…I am appalled that such a large dealership would operate in such a reckless and ILLEGAL manner.

    Brought car in with Check Engine Light, (and a read from advance) Have seen this code before and it usually results in some work.. But the Shelor Service Tech was detailed in what he checked, and determined nothing neded replace. Yeah I was out 100 for the check plus inspection, but likely saved me more than going to another shop. Will bring car here again!

    My car was still making a racket in front passenger wheel hub assembly was replaced in dec 2021. But racket continued ofter. They say they hear nothing... that in was back rotor...rust!!! I picked up car and I still gear the scraping from front passenger wheel. But its all fine .. I was warned before I bought the car!!!

    My personal experience is that the work is generally fine, though I did have to return once because a tire was low on air, and they had replaced my hubcaps in such a way that I couldn't reach to refill them. I also have a friend who has had a couple experiences with them messing with things they didn't have to and having to go back to rectify the situation. Recently, I scheduled an appointment and left work early for an inspection, and was there an hour and a half. If I had known it would take that long even with an appointment, I would've just come in Saturday when I was off during walk-in hours. Granted, it was free since I bought the car there, but still. My biggest gripe, however, is that if you get ANYTHING done at Shelor, you can expect to hear from them for like a week and a half. Emails, texts, phone calls, wanting to hear about your experience. So, Shelor, if you're reading, take this easily actionable feedback to heart: I get enough spam from all those places, and I obviously know how to contact you people because I was just there. Once I've left, send MAYBE one single email with the recipt and some contact info, then back the hell off.

    Shelor has been nothing short of amazing! I worked with Josh Beavers at the Chevy dealership and he made sure I was taken care of and got exactly what I wanted. Everyone I encountered at shelor was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond for their customers! 10/10 recommend! UPDATE: had an issue with my new Tahoe, but Shelor Chevrolet worked quickly and diligently to have it fixed and back on the road in a timely manner.     This was my third vehicle purchase from Shelor, and this time around I had done considerable damage to my credit, and so I was worried that as fantastic as they are, not even Shelor could help me. But all that worry was for nothing! Josh, and the rest of the staff at Shelor went above and beyond to not only get me into a vehicle, but to get me into something I absolutely LOVE and can actually afford!! As stated previously, I had bought two other vehicles from Shelor before, and every time I go there everyone is professional and courteous. Not to mention I've NEVER not ONCE EVER had ANY issues with a vehicle I've purchased there, and I just can't recommend them enough!! Josh and the rest of the sales team I dealt with are superstars, and Shelor should give them all a raise!! If you are in the market for a vehicle, new or used, do not hesitate to go see them!!

    Just purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento at 51,993 miles. It currently has 54,000 miles and is now broke-down. Suspiciously enough Shelor only allows a 14 day warranty and when called and asked about how this could be resolved they were more than lackluster with assisting me in anyway. So I reached out to Kia and explained to them my issues as to which they’re kindly taking this seriously and looking into what they can do to reprimand the failure of Shelor for the betterment of my family’s safety. The cherry on top is the Kia dealership at the Old Forest Lynchburg location has said this is the 3rd vehicle in a months time that has come from the Christiansburg Shelor Motor Mile with engine troubles. So don’t be fooled by the smiling faces when you go to buy a car, question every aspect of that vehicle before you too receive a dud. Edit in Response to Owner: The lackluster service is actually very “nail on the head” for what we experienced Friday. A Google Review takes a full 24hours to be reviewed and then published. So what was said to us “day of” the incident isn’t in relation with what we were told when someone ACTUALLY tried to fix the situation on Monday. (After Kia had taken it in for the proper maintenance.) When we called Friday and asked for assistance we were met with no offerings of a tow service and obviously no assistance throughout the weekend. We obviously wouldn’t bring a vehicle back that no one wanted anything to do with until some bad reviews were made, especially when there’s a possibility of a warranty claim for the dealership itself. Now waiting to see if Shelor can purchase the vehicle back in full vs Kia fixing it under warranty.

    Daedra, we are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your vehicle but we want to clarify a few things in your statement. We sell vehicles that have more than a 14 day warranty, they range from full factory warranty, remaining factory warranty, 90 day, 14 day or AS-IS. It is completely up to the customer what vehicle they choose to purchase and that warranty is disclosed to them. Also, the customer has the option to extend the coverage at the time of purchase. When the service manager was made aware of the issue you were having, "lackluster" is far from how we would describe our response. She offered to pay for the tow to have your vehicle towed to us at no cost to you and also looked into what warranty you had and reached out to kia to see if there were any warranty extensions. You turned down the vehicle being towed to us at no cost to you and said you would leave it at the other kia service center.

    While traveling south on 81 on my way to a dear friend's funeral, my check engine light came on. I called the closest Chevrolet dealership, Shelor Chevrolet. After explaining my problem, they fixed my car and got me back on the road quickly. I can't thank you enough for your assistance. I would have been lost without your help.     I love my Prius. Given the global concern about inflation, fuel supplies, Ukraine etc, I am worried that little progress will be made on Climate Change for a while. But maybe we can leverage these concerns to help the Environment by promoting Hybrid Vehicles. For example: How I Cut my Transportation Gas Bill and GHG Emissions in Half! My old Toyota Corolla served me well for over twelve years. But as I mainly use it to drive to work or go shopping, I was mostly getting the 25 mpg city, rather than the potential 35 mpg highway figure. So, needing a new car, I looked into the latest all-electric models. However, they are expensive. And, in this part of the country, most electricity is still generated from fossil fuels, and there are few charging stations. So I went with a Toyota Prius hybrid, and I am now getting 50 mpg! How is this even possible? The secret is “regenerative braking.” Accelerating or going uphill, the battery and electric motor provide the initial push. And after a few seconds, the gasoline motor kicks in to provide extra power and keep the battery charged. Decelerating or going downhill, the gas motor turns off, and the dynamo recharges the battery. Together this provides a range of 600 miles on a full tank of gas and 50 mpg. I have halved my gas bill and reduced my carbon footprint! I am well pleased. Why is this story not common knowledge? Do you agree? If so please help promote this idea. Richard F Emmett.

    The man in the repair shop were nice to me and took care of my vehicle in a timely manner. They put my vent visors on my Windows and are ordering my part for my seal around my window and will be calling me to come back when it arrives. They were so nice as to wash the chloride off my truck when they pulled it around for me to go home. Such a Alsome team of workers.     My experience was amazing. Most dealerships are super pushy and I dealt with one a couple weeks ago at another dealership in Roanoke who just kept throwing vehicles at me that I didn’t care for. Shannon was my Salesman he was great and didn’t push vehicles on me like the other salesman I had mentioned. Everything went smooth and I left out same day with a cleaned vehicle, paper work done and all.

    I left happy had left my vehicle to get window fix and 90k checkup window was great had done most of checkup but part of checkup was to replace spark plugs this hadn't been done so had to wait an hour before leaving. They did a little adjustment so left happy. 1st time since been dealing with shelors Toyota that I wasn't happy initially would of given a 5 star if everything done. All the past services has been a 5. Shelor Toyota service is great! Have 2 Toyotas now a Tacoma and highlander did have a rav 4 bought it new in 2009.

    I took my Toyota to shelors for airbag recall and issue I was having where car was losing power while driving and then it would kick back in. When I first picked up vehicle from shelors it ran good for maybe a day and now issue is worse than ever. I was charged over $500 and when I called to tell them the issue is worse than ever I was told all they would do is cover the $105 fee they charge to check out the vehicle.

    Had my 2020 Express in for an alignment last week because of tire wear. They only adjusted the toe even though the camber and caster needed to be adjusted as well. As a result it pulls to the right. Their paperwork even stated that this would cause issues, including handling and tire wear. I scheduled a return appointment on Monday and had to wait for 3 hours to have it realigned. It still pulls right and the driver's side factory tabs are still in place, although their printout shows the adjustment changed after the 2nd visit. They said maybe it's the new tires they mounted and balanced for me that is causing the pull to the right. Not very happy with my service experience or their apparent inability to properly align an almost new vehicle. Edit. 10-4-21 After posting my initial review they contacted me and wanted another opportunity to get the alignment right. I discovered that their techs are paid on commission, which explained the half-hearted work initially. They aligned it for the third time and it seems better, although they said if I wasn't satisfied then they were done trying and I should go elsewhere. All told, after the initial alignment I spent about 5 hours waiting on them while they worked on it, not including the trips back and forth. I appreciate their willingness to try and make it right, just disappointed in the initial quality of service.

    I wouldn’t recommend a soul to this sad place!!! I have had my car a little over a year now and the exact same problem has been going on with the car since I got it they claimed they fixed the problem here it is a few months later the same exact problem is happening again! Back and fourth to try to get this resolved and all they do is give you the run around and scam you out of money and don’t even fix the initial problem I hate this place!! I wouldn’t buy another car through them ever again!!!

    My experience was terrific. Everyone I came into contact with was nothing but professional and helpful. However, what makes me the happiest about Shelor is their service towards my grandmother. She is in her 80s, retired, and more challenging than a pine knot. She wanted a new truck—nothing fancy or expensive, just something that could be used on her property. Shelor was the only dealership to return her phone calls and help her with what she needed. I guess the other places aren’t concerned with a cheaper, hard to get, new vehicle. Shelor cared. Little do the other dealers know that one reason for purchasing a really big, really expensive vehicle was due to this gesture. Remember, someone is always watching.

    . First oil change in new truck, GM factory oil change. Shelor took me in explained that it was GM factory and no charge. Heck yea, free oil change. Took vehicle quickly, changed oil and rotated tires. Got me out rather quickly considering they were packed. Even offered a coupon for free car wash upon signing papers. Great visit and great service, friendly and professional. Doesn’t get much better than that, well you could bring the coffee machine back. Do miss the espresso machine…lol.     Unfortunately my car broke down on Interstate 81S on my way to Richland's, Va. I broke down a couple of miles from the Christiansburg exit. I had my car towed to Shelor Motor Mile and they diagnostic as my catalytic converter. Had to leave my car there on Tuesday afternoon and it was ready to pick up early Friday morning. The service I received there was wonderful. Joe Allen and his crew were very professional. If I didn't live 5 hours away this would be my place to have my service on my car. Great dealing with them. The only thing I don't like is the fact Cars Financial does not send any kind of statement or bill, etc. every month..its literally up to you to pay by due every month.     Do not go here even if it is last resort. Had a bad experience 9 years ago, put it behind me and tried it again. Sold first vehicle out from under us. Started looking at a second put a deposit on vehicle due to salesman we where dealing with had a Dr. Appointment and was told to come tomorrow. Then get a call that someone has said vehicle checked out so the deposit can't go thru when vehicle is supposed to be getting detailed. All after payments and everything except signing paperwork was done. Not to mention having friends have there families credit stolen and fake IRS calls from previous salesman. STAY AWAY!!

    We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the vehicle of interest. The vehicle was marked in the system as going through the detail process. During this process the vehicle was checked out by another Salesperson and subsequently sold before the transaction was completed. When this information was discovered the deposit payment was not processed. The Sales Manager explained in detail what had happened and tried to offer assistance on finding an alternate vehicle. We were not able to find an alternate vehicle at the time. If preferred, we will continue to search for a vehicle. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding the statement concerning the friend's family’s information being stolen and fake IRS calls, we asked for specific information so we could investigate the claim. No specific information was presented while on the phone. Shelor will not tolerate any criminal activity by employees or associates.     The work they do was okay but they are not good on cleaning up behind them selves. My console was real greasey and oily fingerprints all over dashboard and steering wheel. The first time I had to come there for engine light I had to pay $1400 and Chris O. told me that Mazda have this problem all the time and I need to contact a Mazda dealership to reimburse me but I bought the car from Shelor not Mazda dealership. They should have contacted Mazda and got my money back. What's the use to have a warranty and it want cover nothing. I should get my money back. I will not recommend Shelor to anyone else and I even paid cash of $25000 for my car and warranty.

    Shelor refused to go down on a $30k asking price for a 2020 Bolt 1LT with 13000 miles. I bought a new 2022 Bolt 2LT from a nearby dealer for $27300 cash later that day. No excuse but greed when charging more than a better and newer model. Also every other Chevy dealer said it was illegal to sell any Bolts the haven't completed the battery recall, and their 2020 did not have the battery recall done.

The vehicle you were interested in was listed below J.D. Power Retail book values. When pricing vehicles, we take demand and supply into consideration as well as information from 3rd party vendors. We understand that Chevrolet had released a price reduction on new 2023 Model Bolts and had just come out with a $5,900 rebate on 2022 Bolts, however, this has no immediate impact on the used car market.     Do not recommend this dealership!!! Sold me a used 2 year old car and by the time it was 5 years old the transmission was completely gone. They obviously do not stand behind their products that they sell at all!!!

    Service for my chevy truck was done with attention to keeping me informed and safe. Rotating tires, oil changed, state inspection and inflating all of the tires.
