I'm very pleased with my recent purchase of a Subaru Forester from Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown. A big THANK YOU to Malissa who gave me a very positive experience selecting my new Subaru. Thanks go out to Kate as well and Max in helping me decide what was the right fit for me. All around I had a very positive experience and appreciated the professionalism of all.

Mike and John were so awesome! They make you feel at home and were able to get me in a 2022 for my first car purchase. I’m so satisfied with my experience here, everyone was so helpful and reassuring. Definitely a core memory and all around amazing experience here at Sheehy.

Very positive buying experience with Dylan and Max. We have been buying our Subarus for years from a dealership closer to home. I gave them a chance to sell us a car and they never got back to me after many attempts. I contacted Sheehy Subaru and almost immediately, they were ready to help and answer all my questions. I was either going to get another limited or maybe a wilderness. Could not decide but Dylan and Max were very patient with me. At the end of the day, I decided on an Onyx. Max and Dylan did everything they could to find and secure one in the pipeline so I did not have to wait 8 weeks. Well, I just picked up my new car and could not be happier. I am a tough customer but they made me feel right at home in the new world of buying cars today. Oh and they do not mark up cars above msrp and that's a big plus in my book. Oh I traded in my 2019 Outback under the guaranteed trade in program. VERY fair price.

First off, I was SUPER nervous to buy a new car after being with my 2010 Ford Focus for almost 12 years. We'd literally been through many miles together! (I'm nostalgic...) But it was beginning to be time, and I'm just so thankful to have met Leo and Max at Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown. They were helpful and honest and even fun to work with! I really appreciate all the hard work they put into making sure I had the right deal. I felt taken care of and heard, not pressured or pushed into something I didn't want. My husband and I went looking for a specific car. We called ahead and they had the car out front ready for us. We told them our expectations and they respected those. Everyone that we encountered there was very nice and didn’t beat around the bush or try to cheat us. They gave us a good price for our trade in. And our sales person Kara, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased and told us about every detail and spec that we didn’t even think to ask about. The finance manager, Anthony was exceptional as well and made it a very smooth process. And even left the room for us to talk amongst ourselves. The next day I realized we had left something in our old vehicle and they are mailing that item to me! This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had!

We had a great experience purchasing our Subaru from this team. Dennis was a great help understanding the overall purchase, options, and features. The customer service was great - they even brought the car inside so we didn't have to explore it's features in the freezing cold. We did not feel upsell pressure that other dealerships are known for.

We worked with Leo and he was awesome! We purchased two Volkswagens from him in the last six months and we never felt rushed! We were able to test drive the cars we asked without any trouble and Leo made sure we left in the car we really wanted. He was great to work with and made it a great experience!

Sheehy is an awesome place to buy a car, especially for for first time buyers. The prices are straight forward and they make the information/paper work clear and concise. Both times that I have been there I have worked with Leo! He is an awesome salesperson. He takes into consideration all the details, even the smallest ones, to find a car that suits your best interest! If I could recommend a great sales person there, it would be Leo! He goes above and beyond to meet customers’ needs!

I came in person to look around and Dennis had me nearly ready to sign on a Subaru Forester right there, but I wanted to check other dealerships and look online to shop around a bit. I couldnt find anything better, because its hard to top the best, so while online I began the buying process through Sheehy with the help of Maria, Keane, and Max. It was very simple and straight forward, and all of the sales reps were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Max even stayed late to help me finish my purchase, and the next morning when I came in to pick up my newly purchased vehicle, Max handled everything and helped get me on my way, and was able to answer any question I had. Very good experience and very great team. Ive recommended that several friends who are looking to purchase or trade in cars come here, where I know they will get the same five star experience that I did.

Just got my new Ascent! I custom ordered and it arrived a lot quicker than I expected. I worked with Leo - he was super helpful and knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed. It took a little over a month, and several test drives, for me to decide. I shared that I was also test driving other brands and no one ever spoke ill of the other brands. Managers Kate and Max were also really helpful and great to work with.

Just bought a 2022 Ascent. Very positive experience. My sales guy, Devonte Moore, was great … very courteous, responsive, and genuine. Also worked with a customer delivery specialist named Tabitha Carney who very patiently showed me how to use every last feature on the Ascent. She even took time to help me via text on a Sunday when the dealership was closed. I’m really very happy with my new Subaru and with the good folks at Sheehy in Hagerstown.

Terrific experience buying a car top to bottom. Dylan was great- super informative and accommodating. He was so laid back, we never felt pressured throughout the entire process. Kat in finance also worked swiftly to apply the terms with which we were most comfortable. The whole team operated together so well- it was delightful to see such joy at work!

I recently bought a new car here. Salesman Dylan and manager Kate were exemplary in their professionalism and pleasant treatment. No hard sell; in fact jointly they bent over backwards to accommodate a concern I had. Thoroughly recommend, even though it is 50 miles from my home.

As this was my first new car buying experience I was super nervous about the whole process. Kate and Kara at Hagerstown Sheehy made it such a painless, fun and exciting experience! I am confident that if I had any issues at all they would help me in a heartbeat. They both were knowledgeable about the outback and very sincere in their approach. I would give six stars! An out-of-state visitor experienced trouble with 2017 Outback. The vehicle had not been started for about 2 weeks during her visit. After jump starting it had multiple issues including very rough running and terrible time shifting into proper gear (automatic). The service department gave us a lesson on how to properly operate the vehicle after restarting a dead battery and the car is fine. Much relief. Kudos to Jason and Mike who were the service staff she dealt with. Both were great reps of this business. Customer service was excellent.

This is the second time we have worked with Maria even though we have bought multiple Subarus from Sheehy (formerly Sharrett). I hate thinking about the whole process of buying a car but Maria, Max, and all the team at Sheehy made it very enjoyable and easy. It was a really busy day but they always kept us posted and never acted rushed with us. I would highly recommend Sheehy if you are looking to buy a vehicle.

Best car buying experience ever!! Ordered my Crosstrek with Darrell James and was kept apprised of its delivery date status. Everyone at the dealership was super friendly, helpful and professional!!

My wife test drove a Crosstrek and loved it. Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown was the only dealership close enough that had the model and color she wanted. This worked out to my advantage because Sheehy Subaru is a great dealership. I worked with Kat Powell through the entire process. She is nice and very easy to work with. She ensured we got the car we wanted. Everything was straightforward with no surprises which isn’t what I expected from experiences with other dealerships in the past. I also worked with Robbie Veil in finance. He explained everything very well and I never felt pressured in my financial decisions. I also met Max Crocetta the lead sales manager. Nothing but good things to say about him too. He wanted to make sure everything was ok with our experience. I was impressed Kat ensured we knew everything about the car before leaving and driving off the lot which made the drive home a lot easier. She is very knowledgeable on the vehicle we purchased and answered everything we asked. Even after the purchase Max and Kat still reach out to make sure everything is ok and answer any questions we have. This was definitely a good experience and would purchase here again and recommend Sheehy to others.

A great place to buy a vehicle. We purchased a new Subaru Forester and love it! Devante and Max were exceptional, personable and great to work with. Devante went the extra mile and went over all the features of our new vehicle and was very patient with our questions. If you're in the market for a new Subaru, this is the place to go!

I went to this dealership to check out the vehicles they had in stick and was surprised that they had very few to choose from. We checked the inventory and short of ordering a new vehicle and waiting several months there was nothing to choose from meeting my expectations. I know Subaru has a tight inventory as part of their business model but in this case it cost them a sale. I may check back one day but not today.

Dealership was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Melissa was very helpful with helping me pick the right vehicle for my family and I. We are very happy with our purchase and will definitely come back again for another vehicle.

I wish I could give six stars! Can't say enough good things about my experience with Sheehy. Kat was my sales rep and made the buying experience absolutely painless. My previous experience was with a Jeep dealer and took six hours! With Kat I was out the door in two. The price was fair for the outback, as well as for my trade in. Also had the pleasure of talking with Max - very impressed with his knowledge of all the products they sell. I mean it, ask the guy anything about Subaru's, I dare you! If he doesn't know the answer off the top of his head he will get it for you in short-order. The best part about the whole experience, is that you're never made to feel that the transition is over, and you're on your own. Kat and Max are sincere in what they do and I'm confident that if I reached out to either one of them right now, they would get right back to me. This dealership is by far the best one around. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Leo and I was extremely happy with his work. My wife, Carolyn, and I have a long relationship with this dealership going back to when it was Sharrett. We purchased four vehicles from the previous ownership (all but one a Subaru) and have purchased three vehicles under the Sheehy banner. We have never had a negative experience when it came to purchasing a vehicle or getting the vehicles serviced under Sheehy or the previous ownership. The dealership stands behind the vehicles it sells and has been extremely helpful whenever there has been a problem. In the Subaru lineup, we have owned a Forester, Outbacks and Ascents. We purchased a 2020 Ascent because we do a lot of cross-country driving. It proved to be such a comfortable, fun-to-drive and capable vehicle that we traded our 2019 Outback in on a 2022 Ascent. The last three vehicles we purchased, we had the pleasure of of working with an outstanding sales rep — Kara Hersick. Kara was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting us into the right vehicle. We cannot thank her enough.

My wife and I met Leo and Max at the Subaru dealership when inquiring about an Outback. Following the test drive we knew the Outback wasn't the ride for us. Nothing negative about the vehicle, just wasn't a fit for what we needed to upgrade our primary vehicle. Nor was the Forester. Leo suggested we try the Ascent because it was more conducive to our needs. We did purchase this vehicle and greatly appreciated the knowledge of both salesmen! This experience could not have transpired through an on line method. Circumstances dictated this transportation change during a time I tried to avoid because of limited stock and the inflation of what is available. This did not interfere or contribute to our experience with the exception of other potential customers pursuing "our" new car and requesting test drives. While we didn't feel pressured, we definitely discovered the vehicle we decided to purchase was also desirable to others. Because of our experience we will recommend/ refer, family and friends to these guys with no hesitation and graciously prepare them to be treated with respectful professionalism! Just as another reviewer below mentioned, Noah and Max are definitely the two best at Sheehy for Sales. There were a couple of defects with the paint on my new Outback and Noah was sure to take care of it for me. He organized the service to be done, and helped secure accessories for my outback. I can only strongly urge you to work with Noah when you get to Sheehy whenever you're looking for a Subaru, Mazda or VW. Great dude. The finance department is a little bit of a different story as I felt a little less happy in that area - but dealer financing is usually that way.

My daughter hit a deer and totaled her truck -- so a very vulnerable time to be looking for a car. Chris Gaston and our sales associate, Darrell, are men of integrity! They helped her secure a reliable, well-built car, and stayed within her defined budget. They are professional, kind, patient, and provided outstanding customer service! If you are looking for a car (whether planned by you or a deer) this is the place to go and Chris, Darrell, and the rest of their team are the absolute best! I know I will be back! :)

If I could give this Sales team 10 stars I would - absolutely the best car buying experience I have had in the last 25 years and will definitely be coming back for any future car purchases. Max the Sales Manager, Missy the salesperson were both great! And so were all the staff I encountered whenever I went to the dealership. Everyone was helpful and attentive to my needs. Max and Missy truly cared about my buying experience. Missy was so patient with all my questions and gave me the time to try out different vehicles. I was not very prepared to buy a new car at that time and was unexpectedly needing a car very quickly. Knowing my family and I have personally owned over 13 Subarus over the past several decades and that we are loyal Subaru owners, Max and Missy made sure that I was satisfied with the car I purchased. We have had our 2021 Forester for a little over one year. The buying experience at Sheehy Subaru was the best! We never felt pressured and were able to purchase exactly what we wanted. We just had the 12,000 mile service appointment. Love the car and highly recommend this dealership.

We had Leo as our rep and he was great! We came in for with a trade-in and ordered our customized Onyx Edition Ascent. It came in exactly 6 weeks and we were able to do the majority of the paperwork online. We live in NC and will gladly drive back to MD to get another car! Great service and everything was so easy and smooth! Couldn’t be happier!

Dylan and Max, Having not visited before I didn't have any expectations except to get the car and fill out the paperwork. But my experience was incredibly better than that. The effort all of you, and Cat, made was above and beyond and made a huge difference. I've never had such a good experience and I've purchased two Subarus at Dulles Subaru of Leesburg. I really appreciate how the car was in the showroom with a bow on it. I loved that. You all were friendly and accommodating and I gotta say I'll definitely look to Sheehy for cars first from now on and I'll come back to Hagerstown if I can. It was a great customer experience for me. I wish I had taken a picture of my new car with the bow on it, but it's burned into my mind anyway and I won' t forget it. Also, Aziz was the first person I had contact with when I called and he was very knowledgeable and did a great job reserving the car for me and explaining the pricing.

Our sales experience was pleasant until we actually got the contract in front of us. My wife had handled everything over the phone and then later signed the paperwork in person. Anthony, the finance manager, had included an extended warranty under the guise of financing being contingent on the purchase of the warranty (which might I add is illegal). Upon reviewing the contract, I demanded the warranty be cancelled. This was 12/7/21. Fast forward to 5/16/22 and we have not received a check for the $3250 nor has our loan been credited. I’ve finally gotten in touch with the warranty company through the help of Subaru USA. Per the warranty company, the money was refunded to the dealer in February. It is now mid May and we have seen no trace of this money. I’ve left numerous voicemails with Anthony and have yet to get so much as a call back.

First of all thank you to the Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown on helping us find the correct car for us. We had booked our car in Jul 2021 and received regular updates via phone and email from Max and Maria. Maria and Max went above and beyond in making sure we got the perfect deal on our trade in and the new car. The car we were looking to purchase was 2021 Crosstrek plug in hybrid and it was very hard to locate. Maria and Max assured we will have car we need with the price we could offered. I would also like to thank you Kate and Anthony (finance) for taking care of us while we visited the showroom. Kate was friendly and helped us and make sure it felt like home. We recently purchased a brand new Forester, and we could not be happier! Our sales associate, Maria Fittro, was absolutely wonderful!! Her knowledge of all the models and the thousands of features was unbelievable. She walked us through step by step showing us everything we could do with our new car. Also, Kate in sales, Janet in the business office, and Jared in sales were all very attentive to our needs! We love the car and have already taken it on a nice drive into the mountains!
