Shamrock Bank NA E Tamarack Rd, Altus

I love Shamrock Bank in Altus! Everyone is super friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate their customers. I moved to Norman, OK 5 years ago but still have my account in Altus. Great bank to do business with!

If customer service isn't high on your list of priorities when banking, Shamrock in Altus may be the right bank for you. I have a mortgage loan through them for a rental property, and have another account (with another institution) that the rent is deposited into - and then it's transferred on a certain date. It came to my attention about a month or so ago that my account was past due. I reached out to them, spoke to someone who shared with me how much I was behind, but they didn't know what the late fees were going to amount to. I then received an email from the Assistant Vice President that read "For your records...." Attached was a notice from the Vice President stating what I already knew. There was no introduction or anything - just an email with an attachment that read "for your records..." I emailed the Vice President on Tuesday, 10/15, asking what I owed, including any late fees, so that I could take care of it. Never got a reply to the email, but I received a phone call from the Vice President earlier today. When I saw my phone ring, since I have Shamrock Bank in my phone directory, I knew it was someone from the bank. I answered, and heard "Tyrell?", too which I replied "Yes". No "Hi Mr Thompson or Hello Mr. Thompson", just "Tyrell?" Kind of caught me off guard. I then explained to her that I'd already contacted somebody else this morning, since she hadn't replied, and I now had the total amount that owed - that was past due. I was totally taken aback with how rude, unprofessional and unhelpful she was. It doesn't cost anything to be kind - but apparently that's not high on their list of priorities. Even people who get behind once in a while have feelings, and deserve to be treated with respect. And for the record, I paid the past due balance a few hours after got off of the phone. Looking forward to having the property paid off in the next few months, and then taking my business elsewhere. Great rates, poor attitudes.

SHAMROCK BANK is not Small Business friendly. Be smart look at other Banks in the area.

I love this bank, this bank is awesome. The people here are not only friendly and greet you with a smile but they go way out of their way to help you. They have a multi lane drive-through which is very convenient. One which is for commercial use only. The girls that work the window are very nice and helpful.

We are a small body shop. This bank is the WORST they make it hard for their business customers to make deposits. If you want to open an account, look elsewhere. WE ARE!!!
