They went above and beyond to help me and made magic happen on a very tight timeline. They communicated with me with such professional kindness. Meghan is awesome. She helped me refinance my auto loan and it was the easiest thing ever she was always there to answer all my questions when I had them or got back to me in such a timely manner. If you are ever in need of help it is nice to have a place that you can actually talk to a real life person. I HIGHLY suggest Jared! He meets all expectations!! He helped guide me through applying for a credit card, with professionalism and ease, especially for me, someone who is very weary in these types of situations. (glad to say I was approved). Terrible. They treat my wife terribly. We opened the account in person together, but she can't request a credit card. They made me request one for her. Her card stopped working, so she called to fix it. They made me call. I spent over an hour on the phone. The card still didn't work. Then they sent new cards, but the cards never showed. We ordered new cards again, but they sent debit cards not credit cards. If we didn't have an active loan with them we would close the account.

I came to SESLOC because I was having problems with Rabobank. It is a night and day difference. I do my regular banking here, and had an auto loan also. Everyone at SESLOC is friendly, helpful, and many remember my name. They have much more convenient hours than a traditional bank, they make things easy to understand, and they are a big part of our community. One time I had a very long wait time on the phone, and when my call was answered, I got an apology and an explanation that they had received tons of calls, and since they are fairly small, they don’t have a huge call center. That also means, however, that your call is answered by someone you could have met when you went into the branch. I feel much better about my money being handled by a business based in my hometown. I can’t help but feel as though anyone who doesn’t give SESLOC a 4-5 star rating has never actually dealt with them!

When you turn in a payment online they always ask you for Account Number not Micr number. I have been continually disappointed by this bank. They have cost me multiple fees from the IRS due to their inconsistent system. I had a payment that needed to go through to the IRS and Sesloc declined it because Sesloc expects you to just know you’re supposed to put in MICR number not Account Number when every online payment forms online asks for the account number of your financial account. It’s a faulty system and we will be banking from somewhere else from now on. This is the last of many many issues I’ve had with this bank.

Total waste of time coming here. I would advise everyone looking for a good bank to look elsewhere so you don’t get disrespected like I was this morning. Management does it’s best to get you to leave without opening an account with them, told me I owed some other bank a couple hundred bucks (which was a lie, I still bank with said bank and had proof of thousands of dollars in my account which they refused to see) and because of that I could not open an account. The lady helping said the manager usually signs off on these situations so she went to him and he refused to do it. Ridiculous.

Jared Maxwell was extremely helpful and got my auto loan to the finish line just in time. He went out of his way to help me and give me advice. Ask for Jared, you won't regret it!

I have 3 auto loans with sesloc and having those loans had a woman named Michelle Ruiz call me who ended up helping me with my credit card debt. She was very sweet and Helped alot. Then when I went to open a business account I decided to go to sesloc where I met Jared Maxwell. he was very helpful and excited about all the perks sesloc gave which made me excited to open not only a business account but a personal checking account. This credit Union Rocks just like Incubus. Thanks Jared.

I just opened an account after six years of painful interactions and incompetence at another major credit union in the area. The process, professionalism and helpfulness of my customer representative was amazingly simple, clear and she followed with everything we'll need to move all of our business accounts there as soon as possible. I'm completely regretting not acting on my dissatisfaction with my current credit union several years ago.

I needed to make a contribution to my IRA and I was promptly directed to Jared. He was extremely clear & concise, answered all my questions, without making me feel rushed, when they were quite busy, and very friendly, to top it off. I have always been pleased with the service at SESLOC, I just wish they had longer hours, but I know some of that is due to extenuating circumstances.

I have been a member for 20 years and recently had an experience of such professional and help from Kelly and Jared at the SLO branch to help get me back on track of my finances since Covid and personal life circumstances. They are incredible and wild recommend them to anyone. Thank you
