Great service, great rates, even better staff. I worked with Valerie at the Redmond Selco for two different auto loans and she has been amazing. She is very efficient in what she does. Very quick responses and service.

    Response from the owner

Thank you, Nolan, for your kind words. I'll pass along your gratitude to Valerie.

Always did my loans through selco. But I think I might need to refinance somewhere else. Had insurance but the company had a computer glitch. Have proof of full coverage. but they want to charge $1800 because their system can't see it on the website. They're completely unreasonable. Me and my agent are submitting documents. But taking more time then it should've. Tread with caution! Sorry if you have same experience hopefully this helps someone else.

This location in particular had great customer service. My complaint is about the company as a whole. They closed my account without telling me or warning me ahead of time. This is extremely frustrating for me. When I asked if they could reopen it they said they would have to start all over again and rerun my credit. No thanks.. I’d rather do that process with a new bank that won’t automatically close my account without my knowing. I moved to central Oregon without access to my primary bank so I opened an account with SELCO in order to be able to deposit cash and transfer to my bank where I pay my bills out of and have loans through. Once I paid off my loans I was planning to switch primarily to SELCO. Unfortunately I hadn’t made any transactions for 4 months so they closed it without my knowing. I went to deposit money so that I could transfer it and pay my rent; that’s how I found out. I would have deposited sooner but the ATM was down several times that I tried. I will not be referring anyone to this company now or in the future.

This is now the only location in Redmond. With being the 10th fastest growing area in the United States you would think they would open up another branch, instead of closing the only other one. The after hours ATM is broken 3 days out of the week. So if you need to pull out money before work dont plan on using it. They have yet to put one you can walk up to by the door like every other bank in town so the one thats always broken does not inconvenience you. So annoying.

    Response from the owner

Hi Cody. We’re very sorry to hear our ATM was down when you needed it. As a credit union member, you also have access to surcharge-free ATMs through the CO-OP Network. To find an ATM near you, please visit: https://co-opcreditunions.org/locator/?ref=allco-op.org&sc=1. Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Very rude customer service. Especially the tall woman at the front. We had a $30,000 transaction and they were not helpful at all, nor did they offer a way to get help.

    Response from the owner

Hi Lori. We’re sorry you had a negative experience when visiting a branch recently. If you could contact our Service Center at 800-445-4483 we’d be happy to help.

I have a hard time believing all the negative reviews are being accurately portrayed here. I’ve been with SELCO for over 10 years and they have never treated me with disrespect. They have greeted me with a smile in almost every single interaction I’ve had with them, even if they didn’t “smile” they were kind and friendly. If I’ve ever had a bad experience, it was usually my fault. Like when I maxed out my secured credit card, or when I didn’t tell them I was going out of state and my card got locked. Even though these weren’t great days for me, SELCO still helped me resolve the issues. For which I am grateful. Over the past decade I’ve watched so many people come in and literally berate the tellers. They come in, freak out, yell, scream and throw tantrums like little children over things that are completely out of the banks control. I’m talking grown adults, men and women alike, acting like this. It’s ridiculous. If I was SELCO in these situations, I wouldn’t want to do much to help these bizarre, nonsensical dolts either. Thank you SELCO, for what you do. I appreciate your help over the years and the service you provide to your community.

    Response from the owner

Thank you, Benjamin, for your thoughtful review. We appreciate the kind words.

I deposited the check by Mobil deposit, it went through and 9 days later they told me that image is unreadable and withdraw money out of my checking and savings account putting me at $0.00 at 5 pm on Friday night before holiday weekend without notifying me about it by email or by text. Call services were less than helpful and make me feel that it is my fault all around. If you cannot support your mobile services than just take it out and not offer as an option. Now I cannot access my money at least till Tuesday after the holidays.

Slowest branch ever. Worst service ever. Can't process simple loans or transactions appropriately. They were bad before Covid-19 and that hasn't changed. 1 person working both lanes at such a busy time of day and the lobby is still closed!!! I don't recommend this location.
