Security Finance - Corporate Office Security Pl, Spartanburg

The one in Columbus , Ga , Woodruff Rd , has the rudest folks working for them . I was making a payment for my mother who has been hospitalized & in rehab for several months now . I've asked them not to call her but to call ME instead. I told the girl today to call me . Some other rude behind jumped in & said " dont tell me ask me ".. I'm not ASKING you all not to harass my mother , I'm TELLING you not too .....period !!! I have heard about their rudeness way before now . Even folks at the grocery store next was talking about how rude they are and or they heard they were .! The CEO needs to look at some of these reviews & make some changes or they will be closing this store, no doubt !

I took a loan out with security finance, never been late, even renewed a couple time. Back in October I got really sick and my doctor took me out of work. I wasn’t worried bc I had the insurance, I got the paperwork from my local Aiken office, had my employer fill it out, took it back. Next two days I got a call saying it was filled out wrong. Went and picked it back up and had my employer fill it out, it too these ppl 3 months or better to process my insurance claim. I kept calling and the manger said she was gonna have her boss to call me, He never did until my account was paid out, by then they were reporting on my credit as being late. The first payment came in March of this year. So why they told me it’s nothing they can do about the late report on my credit. I will never go back and currently looking into getting something done even if I have to go to court.

Do not get a loan from these people if you are trying to build your credit, they played me like a fiddle promising me that working through their department would help build my credit and resulted in damaging my credit more then they did build it… Every loan that you get from them is considered a single account (and they close your account every time you get done paying off a loan)… they don’t keep a single account open for multiple uses… every time you get a loan from them and pay it off it closes every time and you lose your credit… you lose more points than it builds it… I built up 7 points and it took 9 points after I got done paying for the loan… sadly I didn’t realize this until to late… if you need extra money don’t hesitate to get a loan from them but don’t depend on them to build your credit like they made me believe…

This Place is horrible!!! They're suppose to help your credit, but how do they help your credit whenever they don't report to the 3 credit bureau's? I've called them for a year after I paid my last loan off in perfect standing, never a late payment and always paid before time. Each time that I talked to them and threatened them wit a lawyer and reporting them to the BBB they always told me "we're in the middle of a system update", really? it takes a year for your systems to update?!?! I've talked to a lot more people that said they said the same thing to them! They're very rude to you over the phone no matter how nice and polite you're! well, I got tired of being polite to someone that is always rude to their customer's! I just now got off the phone with them inquiring about this issue again. The guy put me on hold for 10 minutes, he then came back and told me that they started reporting back to the bureau's on the first of Jan. So we will see, if not, I will be calling back and they will have a supbeana!!!

I called security finance office to see how much was left on the loan on july 28th, 2021. They told me it was $314.00 left. I paid $314.00 to the company. Now they are saying I owe them $100.00. I have proof where I had the money to pay it off. They lied to me. They said that they going to count the drawer. To find the missing money. Someone who works there took $100.00 out of the money to pay it off. I am going to report this to the state n Better Business Bureau. They aren't honest n lie to customers. When I had payments before the due date. They changed interested on the loan. Which they shouldn't done. They never gave me my pay off recipient.. I am pretty angry with this company n I lost my trust in this company for good. I will tell other people not take a loan out from security finance they are nothing crooks.

It was longer than 3 weeks lol . I have been with security finance for almost 5 years now. I’ll get a loan pay it down and renew. They report to your credit so they essentially help build your credit. I don’t care for the fact that it takes them so long to report. I’m currently waiting for an update as their last update to my credit was in NOVEMBER. Other than that, their great! I love the staff, their so friendly 💖 it makes for a nice experience when the staff are as sweet as these ladies 🥰

Security Finance - Morristown, Tennessee. Before you consider a loan from this company please read my story. My daughter worked for this company. On November 26 while leaving late to make a bank deposit (on company business)- she pulled out of the parking lot and had a collision with another vehicle. Thank God no one was hurt but as a single mother with two teenage boys she was emotional and shaken, thinking her car was ruined. In tears she called me and wondered how she would be able to get back and forth to work. She dealt with the police and the towing company and had to try and find a ride home. (We live 50-60 miles apart from each other) The next morning (Thanksgiving eve) she rode with her manager to work only to find her district manager there. She was sat down and was asked to sign a liability waiver concerning the accident and then promptly fired - no mercy - no warning - no write up. Terminated by a ruthless and insensitive company. The reason on her termination notice: “Failed to Secure Property” I’m her haste - she left the door unlocked. Without consideration that she was PERFORMING A COMPANY TASK when the accident occurred - Security Finance cast her aside. Please folks - join me in sharing this with every person and do business somewhere else!

This business does not pay their bills. Not sure how they continue to operate.
