Nick Bowles is THE MAN! Seriously, this guy is great at what he does! Prior to working with Nick on my refinance, I spoke with multiple other companies which left me feeling stuck in my original mortgage. I told Nick what I was interested in doing he gave me options and ultimately closed a great deal for me! The entire process was quick and easy. I have already shared his contact information with anyone in need of his expertise.

I keep getting letters from them in the mail, the most asinine one I've ever received read "PENALTY FOR TAMPERING" and "VERY IMPORTANT, REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ACTION". I've never been angrier when opening a spam letter like this but this one is just over the top. What did you think was going to happen once I read that you're advertising a refinance? I NEVER leave reviews and you took so much of my daily conscious space that I looked for your company name based on the return address just to warn others. If THIS is how you want to start a relationship with new customers then I can't even imagine what's like to call you a "partner" in any business deal let alone give you the keys to my financial future for the next 30+ years.

After 65 days of revisions and asking for the same documents over and over again, I gave up on Cardinal. They had a notary come to our house, we signed documents and the loan never funded! We had refinanced with them 9 months earlier and it took 52 days. This was the worst experience ever. Use Rocket Mortgage if your credit score is high enough,it will save you alot of anguish.

I am a military veteran and was looking for a refinance of my existing loan. I was refereed to Zachary Ziegler of Cardinal Financial. I was impressed with his honesty, forthrightness, and attention to detail. Additionally, I was never led by false promises, but instead was provided a quality and professional experience. In this time of distrust, it was refreshing to deal with an honest professional. I recommend him without hesitation.

My advice...if you are dealing with this branch and you are out of state... don't do it They were inexperienced when it came to dealing with Illinois While it takes the average refi to close within 45 days, we went 4 months without a refi. They didn't know how the Illinois state tax system worked asking for letters that didnt exist. They asked for a payoff letter from my mortgage 6 times causing me to incur $150 in fees. They harrasesed my wife's employer every couple of weeks with salary info causing great stress on their relationship. Repeatedly asked for duplicate documents. We were constantly assured that everything was moving along but after 4 months we withdrew our application. You may need to invest hours and hours of your time like we did.

Orlando Gonzalez, my loan officer, made my loan experience great! He called me immediately to get my app going, gave me important re-finance advice, and pushed my loan through. Orlando provided excellent customer service all through the loan process, keeping me informed and updating me. He is a true professional and a straight-shooter. I would totally trust him with all my re-finance needs. The entire Sebonic team was great. I also got a fantastic loan with a low rate, saving me about $1k/mo.

Brendon and his team are exceptional and provided quality care and service!!! Cardinal Financial was excellent to work with on my home refinance. They drew me in with the lowest interest rate available. Sometimes financial institutions can lure you in with low interest rates, then they offer terrible customer service and miss their deadlines. This wasn’t the case at all with cardinal. I worked with loan officer Chris Johnson, who I would highly recommend. They processed everything quickly through their easy to use octane portal and Chris was always available and quickly returned my phone calls, emails, and even text messages. First time trying to purchase a home and this was the Worst experience I ever had with a financial officer and institution I had to reach out numerous times on different occasions leaving voicemails and emails for an update and basically was told to go to another company I had applied for cause I was trying to compare rates. I tired reaching out to the manager and still no response. I didn’t expect the Manger not to return voicemails like the employees. I also called the customer service line and they also left the manager a message to return my phone call to address the issues I had but still no call.

My experience with Cardinal Financial Company was for the most part positive. I got all my material in within a day of their requests and my credit reports were without any problems. The one shortcoming was the delays that were occasioned by Cardinal. During those delays the rate for refinancing went down considerably - by about half a point. As we neared the third closing date I asked that at closing my interest rate reflect the current rate rather than the rate that had been locked in three months earlier. While they refused to do that, they did waive some of their fees. Overall the experience was fine though Cardinal should consider hiring more staff during a period of low rates and high number of applications so their otherwise good service can be fully utilized by its customers.

Sebonic provided lowest rate for my home purchase! Fees were same as other lenders charges. Chris, Ann and Ashley were fantastic to work with. I am very pleased with my experience. Note that providing all documentation is a requirement for mortgage, so just be prepared for it. These are professional people and doing great job.

I just completed a refinance with Cardinal Financial. This is the 2nd loan that I've secured through this company, and I can't say enough good things about them and their process. They make the loan process painless and extremely convenient. They submit document requests through their Octane system, which allows you to sign them electronically. They also follow up daily and weekly with status updates to keep you informed about where your loan is in the process. In our case, the property is out of state, so Cardinal even sent a notary to our home to get the signatures for closing. As a first-time home buyer there are a lot of things you just don't know. Ryan did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making the home buying process stress free. From application day to closing took one month exactly for an FHA loan. Loan originator Don Sozio was great, advising me how to make sure I could get qualified and ensuring my loan went through manual underwriting to have the best chance of approval. I wish I could say the underwriting process was seamless, but it wasn’t because I had to submit the same documents multiple times, first to Don then to the processor. I was stressed and frustrated about having to resend documentation up to the day before closing,, but luckily I was able to get what was needed each time it was requested. Cardinals Interest rate and closing fees were less than other companies I had tried to work with. My only complaint is the communication among cardinal team members. I would recommend Cardinal to anyone who has multiple sources of income and self employment, as long as you can document your income 62,000 different ways.Response time via phone calls and emails were always fast. I’m happy with the service from Cardinal.

I purchased my new home with mortgage broker Michael Fienberg and it was a great experience. Since pandemic, everything became difficult, but Sebonic Financial’s online portal makes loan application very easily. I am moving from NY to WA, so I can’t really choose NY broker to buy a house in WA. Online broker - Sebonic Financial seems to not have any geography problem, they have agents licensed in all states. I submitted loan application on Sebonic Financial website, and then Michael Fienberg emailed me. I am a busy person with a full time job, so I can’t answer phone all the time. The majority of my communication with Michael is through email. He was very responsive and patient. He quickly got me an approval letter and provided me with all different options. I was also shopping around with different mortgage company, but Michael gave me the best interest rate at first day without me negotiation. Other brokers ended up matching the same rate, but I ended up choosing Michael. Like I said, I am a busy person and don’t have time to negotiate. So if you want my trust, offer me the best rate right away. Besides the good rate, the appraisal and underwriting process were very smooth, and there was no surprise fee at the closing. I’ve refinanced before but doing so with Cardinal was by far the easiest. I worked with Robert and Abby and they were fantastic. Communication was great, they were always professional and friendly, and were a wealth of knowledge. The process was straightforward and we were funded earlier than anticipated.

John Ruskin, at Sebonic, was always upfront and gave honest answers to my myriad of questions. He was patient with me when a colleague from work urged me to check on a competitor with "lower interest rates ". Sure, a little bit, HOWEVER, as John patiently explained, the other company added thousands of dollars in additional closing costs! I was able to buy down my rate for a VERY reasonable amount ... and still had more cash coming out for my capital improvement. The "back office", handing all documentation online, was sometimes a bit "off", however, John was always able to clear things up!! I highly recommend John Ruskin.

My experience with Cardinal Financial was everything I could have expected. They responded quickly to my first inquiry about refinancing and Gregory Hanlon was patient and took as much time as I needed to understand the process and walk me through it. He was always happy to talk with me and answer any questions I had and if he wasn’t immediately available, he would respond quickly to my messages. Their online system of helping me keep track of what I still needed to do was very efficient and made the process much less stressful for me. Every person I came in contact with who was associated with Cardinal Financial throughout the process was so friendly, efficient, and helpful. I felt like I was their priority. From the first contact, I was made to feel very comfortable and confident in their ability to help me achieve my goal. Overall the process was good. However unforeseen circumstances kept delaying closing, hence was long. Hasan Naghmi was original contact. He responded immediately and was very helpful explaining what was required. We completed the online application, took longer than 15 minutes. But overall was ok, little confusing when credit report section came up and multiple questions were based on it. Hence took longer than the time frame allocated. Once approved, we locked rate with Hasan Naghmi same day over the phone. Next we uploaded all required documents, such as Driving License, W2. Was long wait before being assigned to a Transaction Coordinator Tiffany Clark, she was prompt at requesting new uploads, or signatures required on online documents. Started whole process January 20 2021, and closing was moved many times from original closing of February 26 to actual closing on April 2 2021. Major delay was due to having a second lien on the house. Closing costs were high due to the timing of closing. Closing included House Tax, which the old mortgage company had paid, the county website showed paid on April 8. Pay off was pulled on April 2 and did not include our recent mortgage payment. So basically both new and old mortgage companies will be returning a large amount of the actual closing costs. April 2 we signed in person at home all documents, we was given until April 7 to decide if we were to continue. April 8 we closed and funds to pay off old mortgage occurred on April 9. Note title company that was used had wire transfer detail showing Escrow Account Number, this was the Bank account number. We were very happy with our interest rate. Due to the delay in closing, the rate expiration date was automatically extended, no additional costs to us.

We refinanced with Cardinal Financial, and it was an easy, smooth, seamless process. The online Octane system for signing and uploading documents made the process painless, and the mobile notary that came to our house for closing was fast and efficient. Tanner Reese was awesome, and answered every single question quickly, efficiently, and without bias. We would definitely recommend Tanner and Cardinal Financial for your mortgage needs!

Sebonic Financial had the lowest rate and one of the lowest fees from any of the vendors I contacted. The online experience was very straight forward painless. They even had the final signing performed at our house (for a refinance) so it's hard to imagine a simpler process.

Penny has a no-nonsense approach to helping me out with my refinancing needs. She will give an answer very quickly what is possible or not and she followed through on them all the way to the end. As I worked through a process to re-finance our home mortgage, I collected rate information from more than five lenders. I submitted formal loan applications with two lenders. Daniel Vazquez from Cardinal Financial ended up offering me the best deal and was extremely patient, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process with me. Even as competitors offered counteroffers, Daniel continued to remain engaged with me and offering new information and deals to close the deal. I recommend working with Daniel, specifically. The closing process was a bit iterative and using Cardinal's online system (Octane) was a bit cumbersome, but it was bearable.

Definitely the most difficult lending process I have dealt with during any of my home purchases. Not because of anything other than sheer lack of communication and straight up negligence on handling of documents. Literally delayed my mortgage closing twice requesting documents they already had. Once they found them I was told to reschedule closing the following day and surprise there is a 3 day waiting period no one seemed to no about until it was time to close again. When I showed frustration I was asked if I wanted my application cancelled instead of taking any accountability for their mishandling of the entire process. No accountability. I would not recommend and will never use cardinal again.

This has been the worst home buying experience I’ve-ever had. Told several times I’m good to close. Show up to close and they can’t find documents they have uploaded on they’re website. Find the documents and can’t work out the details with the title company. As soon as something went wrong on their end no one will call you back. No one will let u know what’s happening and your closing and everything that comes with it just gets pushed back. I’ve been texted 20 times I’ll get a call back and nothing. Just more misdirection and sorrys…no accountability at all. I’ve done everything I’m supposed to and because the right hand doesn’t know what the left had is doing at Cardinal Financial…I have been just delayed and left in the dark over and over. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I worked with Sebonic on a home refinance in late 2020 after doing my due diligence on other lenders who could not compete at all with the rates Sebonic was offering. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after researching the company, and reading the hundreds of other positive reviews on them, I moved forward. Alex was my loan officer and he was instrumental in helping me secure the lowest rate possible and the best deal for me overall. Highly recommend working with him if he's licensed in your state. I did pay points to get a lower rate, but in my situation it still turned out to be a really good deal overall. The entire loan process was done electronically and their systems are really user-friendly and easy to use. The only time I had to meet someone in person was to wet sign the closing documents with a notary who came over to my house. The overall process from initial contact to close took about 3 weeks and everything was pretty smooth. Overall, a very positive experience, and highly recommended.

I tried to do my mortgage refinance through my personal bank, Suntrust (Truist), and there were so many delays that I looked for other options. Cardinal Financial provided excellent customer service in a timely manner. My rep, Gannon, kept me informed and always responded when he promised to which is the opposite of what I was experiencing with my bank. I read all these reviews about Sebonic taking forever to close and no communication and it just isn't true. I ended another refinance that had gotten ridiculous and came to Sebonic. The contrast is astounding, and the differences were all positive! Sebonic's online portal and quick engagement was fantastic. When they need a document they told me why and let me know and worked with me. They explained the process and stuck to what they said they would do. There was a "dark period" of no communication for a few weeks during underwriting and processing but that's the same with ANY REFINANCE company. Closing was smooth, it didn't take that long to go from inception to close, I was fully informed and felt in control of the process and I really felt Sebonic was working for me and my situation. I can't say enough positive about the experience especially next to recent experiences with other "big banks". The end result they kept their estimates and promises, and final costs went DOWN not up! I would work with Sebonic again in a heartbeat!

Generally great service from the primary contact while processing our refinance. There were some delays due to volume of refinances going on right now, but everything eventually went through. Since I didn't receive a separate survey link for our transaction coordinator, Ann Coggins (Cardinal Financial-the parent company), I want to note that unlike Natalie, Ann was not helpful. She missed appointments, ignored concerns and blamed others for her mistakes. The blaming was the worst. When we called to ask questions, she sometimes gave us incorrect information, repeatedly told us about her unavailability due to vacation plans, and finally, blamed us for an error in a closing date change claiming we "didn't sign the papers" when we had literally received them hours earlier. It was a nightmarish experience working with Ann. Without Natalie, I doubt the loan would have closed on time . I also wonder whether we would have kept our rate and credits without Natalie's help. The overall experience with Cardinal was mixed due to Ann's negligence and constant shifting of responsibility. However, I would recommend them given stellar loan officers such as Natalie.

It was an easy process getting a loan. Since receiving the loan it has been nothing short of a nightmare. After they received my first payment they told my loan was being transferred and continued to bill me when the loan is due at another company. They cannot explain why they are showing I still owe for a month that I have paid for. Nobody has answers. I would be very careful when dealing with them.

Found this company after another did a last minute rate hike. The process was seamless. Justin the agent I worked with was in constant communication and delivered what he offered without last minute changes. The rate was the most competitive at the time. As long as you have all your required documents in digital form ahead of time closing process should be a breeze. I was happy enough with the process I recommended them to a close friend who is now almost done with his loan.

Cardinal Financial did a great job! The team was really responsive. If I needed to leave a voicemail. My call got returned promptly as well as emails. I did not know if a refinance was right for me, but they made it clear that I could save money over the long term with at least 1 to 2% in a lower interest rate making the same regular payments as my old loan. Plus now I have the flexibility with a lower mortgage to use the funds if needed for something else. We completed our Refi with Ari. He was incredible. We've completed ReFi's in the past with other companies. I was able to complete the process while working directly with Ari. I'm not a finance professional, so I had some concerns about being able to complete the process working only with the company. Ari was amazing. We financed our home through Cardinal and had a great experience, so when we decided to refinance we decided to stick with them. Maurice Byrdsong was our loan agent and he did a great job. He worked with us to get a great interest rate that is going to save us $100K over the life of our loan. Due to the volume of individuals refinancing our closing kept getting delayed. We ran into some communication issues with the loan coordinator but Maurice jumped in and got us back in track. Cardinal makes everything so easy. We love the dashboard and they even scheduled the closer to meet with us at our home.
