SCE Credit Union - Sahara Branch W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas

The employees are just not up front with how this business operates. Pull up to a lane in the drive-through. All I want to do is deposit a check. Theres no carrier in the sender. So instead of just sending one (you know, like a regular bank), the employee says, "Oh that lanes closed you'll have to move." So I move just to find out this bank doesn't conduct shared branching through the drive-through because.......no real reason? Never had that issue with any other shared branch before.....ever 🤷‍♂️ So then the employee tells me I have to come inside and get in line behind 15 people. Turning what was only supposed to take 2 minutes into having to wait upwards of 20-25 minutes. And for what? A policy about shared branching that I'm willing to bet is made up. This is, in itself, a great example of how terrible the level of service is in Las Vegas.

SCE continues to get worse and worse. When they took over Sonepco it's been nothing but horrible. The online services lack, my account has received more fraud charges than ever before, the rates are beat consistently, the customer service in person is nothing, and it's not ever helpful or convenient. Don't go not worth it!

My wife and I enjoy banking with SCE FCU! It has a small bank feel and the tellers get to know you. It's nice not being fee'd to death and the customer service is among the best we've experienced! We'll be lifetime members I hope! I also use SCE for my business and Arturo Vidal has been a lifesaver! We only use the branch on Sahara and Torrey Pines and everyone has been wonderful! Thank you for making banking great again! :p

Specifically W Sahara Branch...girls appear/behave with cold unfriendly lack interest & knowledge untypical of former employees most of which are gone. This group is a pack. I needed to get into my safe deposit box. No words spoken, slow effort on part of the girl. It was an effort for her to put key in the lock. Actually if manager had been the building I would have gone directly into HER office.

I'm a part of one of the Co-Op Credit Unions and have come here a few times to deposit checks, but I stopped coming because I find their tellers really unfriendly to other Co-Op members. I thought it might just be the case for other credit unions in Vegas but no, it's just them. Not sure if they're the same way with their own members.

After driving to two different branches, one Friday and one today; after being told I would not need an appointment to start my two accounts, I am 100 percent disappointed. I wasted basically a half a day to be told I could come back later in the week. I wasted gas, called off work as I needed to start an account. Every bank is requesting appointments. That’s why I called to make one. I was told not once but twice to come in as I would not need an appointment. Whoever’s answering you phones clearly doesn’t know what they are doing. And neither do the people working there. 4 people standing around while 2 tellers are working, but your supposedly “short staffed”. What a joke. Stay away from this credit union. They can’t handle simple things like a schedule, they will not handle your money with any confidence. I’m glad I didn’t end up giving you my accounts.

Exceptionally friendly staff, went in as a non-member to do a shared branch deposit after being referred here by my own FCU and was pleasantly surprised with what I experienced!

Love using SCE its my first time with a union. Wondering to myself why no one ever talks about how great a credit union is. I totally against debt needed a credit card ASAP got a great credit line and low interest rate. Anna is deniability awesome at what she does. I recommend her to everyone who needs anything to do with loans and credit cards.

I would not advise banking with this credit union. They came to my employer several months ago, advertising free accounts as an incentive. I provided required documents, and NEVER received a call back, approval or declination letter from Acct Rep "Luddy" (misspelled?). I think I know the answer at this point😒 They are coming back to my employer on 2/7. How incredulous that you wouldn't think I would call you out on your poor customer service?
