Words cannot express my frustration with dealing with SAFCC. Long story short: do not believe anything they say. They are incompetent amateurs. I attempted to open an account in order to obtain a car loan. I have >800 credit score, so was promised on the phone a 1.79% interest rate if I set up direct deposit, opened an account, and obtained a loan >$10k. Great! WRONG. Once I got into the branch, I was told that actually, the rate would be 2.34% as the direct deposit from my paycheck had to have already been set up (I was not told this on the phone) to be eligible for the promotional rate. Oh well, still a good rate, so even though I was frustrated I moved forward. After going into the branch, waiting 45 minutes, then having two follow-up phone calls where the loan was finally approved and we opened my account and I notified the seller that he should expect payment in the next 24 hrs, Alondra called me and said "oh is this car >10 years old? we don't do any loans for that, but you can take out a personal loan at a much higher interest rate..." (the vehicle is a low mileage 2004 Porsche 911). So after wasting many hours of my time and jeopardizing the purchase of the vehicle, the entire process was doomed from the start and could have been avoided simply from the first phone call. Lesson: take your money elsewhere.

Back when I lived in Orange county, probably over 20 years ago now, my Dad encouraged me to get an account at Santa Ana Federal Credit Union. I’ve had a savings account here ever sense, as well as a personal loan in most recent years. The people that I’ve worked with over the phone, no matter when I’ve called over the years, have been super helpful, really friendly, and polite. It doesn’t matter who I work with, they always go above and beyond. I’ve always been happy with my experience, and even though I don’t ever visit the branch in person, I still always am supported in my needs. I highly recommend!

I have been a SAFCU member for 28 years, and they have been nothing but great to me. I had many loans through this CU and never had any problems applying. They make it fast and as simple as possible for me. The staff is extra friendly and go above and beyond to answer any questions that arise.

I have been a member of the Santa Ana Federal Credit Union (SAFCU) for over 31 years and I couldn’t be happier with them. The SAFCU has met and exceeded all of my banking needs. The staff are wonderful, friendly, professional, courteous and are more than just staff they are family and they treat you like one! I would never bank anywhere else and I definitely recommend them.

I have been a member since late 1980's :) SAFCU have always given fair rates, exceptional customer service, important updates, and incentives throughout! There is a "family atmosphere" here, not seen in other banks. Now in these times of covid-19, the safety precautions in place are above and beyond to keep us safe! SAFCU has superb, top shelf customer service as well, excellent loan rates not found in other institutions. The staff is courteous, proficient and offer friendly, fast financing. I will continue to have SAFCU as my go to for all my financial needs.

SAFCU has been an outstanding credit union for over 30 years. I first joined in 1991 and have always been and still am greeted with a smile and with a professional attitude. The bank offers easy on-line banking and it's not a huge bank where you are just a number. They appreciate my business!

I have been with Santa Federal credit Union for over 40 years. In all those years never once have I had reason to register a complaint Banking has been without difficulty whether online or going directly into the bank. Customer service is outstanding. SAFCU banking was and continues to be my banking choice.

I have been a member sense around 1977. The Office was on Flower I believe ? In a converted house. Membership was easy to join. Than as now the Customer service is Amazing. Auto Loans or any Loan has reasonable rates. I believe it is the Best place to Bank !

I have been a member of SAFCU for thirty years and love it. The credit union has fast, easy service in person and, there is on-line services like any bank.. They answer the phone quickly for any direct questions or help without long waits on the phone. I consider this a big plus. They treat you with respect and are always pleasant.
