I have been a member off and on since the early 1990' and have taken out used the institutions lending services, such as first position mortgages, HELOC's, car loans etc. I have found these instruments to be very competitive and professionally administered. However, their banking online is a real disappointment. The website is far from intuitive and difficult to use. For example, when I schedule a recurring payment for a loan, I make sure to call up a bank officer two days later to make sure that the website really registered the transaction. Compared to other banks I do business with, the SFFCU's website is difficult to navigate and not very intuitive at all. Wish they could fix it!

Branch Services Supervisor Yalawnda Taylor is AMAZING! I don't usually like going to banks, I do everything online. It was warm and inviting. They were super busy but was helped quickly without feeling rushed. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I've already referred 2 friends and I'm sending more. Superb service!

Get in get out, A-1 Service ( social distancing ) enforced. Armed Security but respectful at all times . Mr. Nguyen the teller personally walked me through the set up of the Mobile application ( even though there was an extended line outside . ) The entire staff I must admit can't recall all of their names is a great branch & I am happy to say that I have been a proud member of SF Federal Credit Union for many moons. Pre- Pandemic , Post 9/11 through the storms & through the droughts they have assisted me in my financial independence thank you to all SF Federal Credit Union Branches. Also if their lines are crowded you can use a Co-Op branch through San Mateo Credit Union just allow the processing fee to clear

I appreciate the kindness that I receive from each person when I enter the Excelsior branch. From the guard to the bank tellers, the community of folks who work at the Excelsior SF Federal Credit Union truly showcase respect and compassion at all times. I am glad that I went from a big bank to a much more ethical credit union. It is evident that they care for San Francisco and its residents through their unyielding support and care.

My husband has been a member for about 30 something years and we have been extremely satisfied with the level of service and the tellers are very pleasant. I have banked with a lot of the traditional banks and can honestly say that the credit union is much better than traditional banks.

All the staff members at the Excelsior Branch led by Maria are friendly to the members. I am also glad that its diverse workforce reflects our community. Thanks SFFCU for the great services provided to working people. Kudos! Stay safe and healthy during this challenging time.

For a small bank the people that work here have a large attitudes, mostly management but it starts from top down. I have been banking here for over nine years and every single time I walk into this place it is a nightmare wait with one or two people in line. They look at members as if they're criminals even when making a simple deposit of a check. Phone service is even worse than walk-in service. Please do yourself a favor and do your banking elsewhere.
