    Bryan and the team at Sames made buying a new vehicle a breeze. After having a bad experience at 2 previous dealerships, we found a vehicle we were looking for at Sames. It was about an hour drive and we have 2 small children so we set up the entire deal over phone, text, and email in just a few hours. They were all very responsive and not pushy at all. They even stayed late so we could pick it up at the end of the day. Thank you all for making the buying process so easy, that's how it should be.

    Picked up my new 2022 Bronco today. Ian took good care of me. No bs , straight forward, no games , no drama. Everything a person hopes for in a new vehicle buying experience. I really appreciate the great communication from all the staff there from my salesman to the finance guy. I was in and out in about an hour. Definitely recommend this dealership.

    They taught me the invaluable lesson of always verify and never trust their word. I would never recommend them to anyone. I went in to have brakes put on my pickup because I was having issues with left back drivers side. I sat for over four hours reading and they came out and said done. My mistake, I trusted them, so paid and left. Coming home last week on 304, brakes went out. I managed to get home very slowly and only because it is a standard. When the mechanic took off the brake cover, the keepers had never been touched, so brakes where not replaced. Everything and I mean everything fell out on driveway. They literally let me drive off in an unsafe vehicle and I was blessed to be okay. I am so done with Sames.

    During this time where just finding a new vehicle is difficult, Liz Roop came through for us. She was able to find one and hold it for us. There were offers to pay over the price however Liz had given her word and was not going to go back on it. It is so refreshing to be able to deal with someone who is truthful and reliable.     Saw a 2020 Platinum Ford Explorer and went down there, wife needed a new vehicle. The staff there is amazing and so friendly, the process was painless and easy. They have one person doing the detail so we waited a bit longer then wanted for the vehicle but when it came out it was so damn clean and detailed I did not even recognize it. Prices was a little more than we were looking for but not enough to hirt us, the gap coverage they offer is a great deal and the vehicals are not lemons at all. Bryan the salesan was such a joy to deal with. When I am looking for a new truck this is where I am going. Thank you Sames, you made my family happy.

    Geoff and Tyler are the absolute best people! Everything was easy with the trade in and purchase. Geoff spent awhile showing us all the gadgets in the truck after the purchase.     While traveling thru Texas the passenger door on our 2014 Ford Fiesta would not latch and had to be tied shut. We called ahead to Sames Ford in Corpus Christi, the next town we were traveling through. We talked to service advisor Daniel Ramos who, found that there was a safety recall on the latches and got us scheduled and serviced quickly. Daniel kept us updated on progress and worked to get us back on the road even though his department was short staffed due to illness. Can't say enough about Daniel Ramos and Sames Ford in helping us with this difficult situation.

    Hands down the best place to buy a car in Texas. Chester made the sales process easy he was patient, not pushy, and super friendly. He listened to all my concerns and addressed them. That was just the start of the process when it came down to the finance Tyler took real good care of me. He went through the paper work thoroughly and was straightforward.     I’ve bought two trucks from this dealership and had a great experience each time. Mr. Choules has assisted me with both, and is an honest, straight-forward, no pressure salesman. Their pricing is better than any dealership in the Austin area. I’ve gotten quotes from Sames and had Austin dealers tell me straight up there’s no way they can match it. Well worth the drive if you live in or around Austin.

    I want to give out an outstanding shout out to Liz Roop!!! She really does care about her customers, she made it all happen for us! It was such a long battle trying to get a new car, but we kept in contact with her prior to purchasing making sure we had everything set for a new car it all happened so fast & we are so grateful on the outcome of her accomplishment! We got a call on Saturday morning that we got our approval! We live in SA so we had to make our drive up there but it was definitely worth it! 3 hours later we left with a brand new car!! I highly recommend her, she is so sweet, lovable, caring & very generous you will enjoy your visit with her! We love our car so much, & it was the best thing that has happened for us thus far!     If I could give zero stars I certainly would. Sales department is great. However, I feel the need to warn everyone to avoid the service department at all costs. The service manager, Matt, is really inept and its like the blind leading the blind. The staff on his team have virtually no idea what's going on. It's only a matter of time before they get sued for negligence and incompetence. The owners of this place need to clean house and fast. If you love wasting time, money, and energy then Sames Service Department is for you.

    We have a 2019 Ford Flex. There have been some minor issues and maintenance required. Matthew is our service writer. He is amazing. I am not related to him. In fact we live in Florida and our "Texas Car" is the one that goes to Sames. But I can say 100%, Matthew tries hard to be on top of the work needed and our schedule. Since the car is only used when we come to Texas, there are times where we schedule with Matthew to take the car and we Uber to the airport. The Flex is always ready when we return and the prices we have paid have been reasonable. We might save a few dollars with a small-scale, independent shop, but we get such great service and have a good relationship with Matthew, why bother? Thank you Matthew and Sames.

    I can't thank Matthew and the team at Sames Bastrop enough for getting in a warranty repair on my RV within a day and getting the parts overnighted. Since my wife and I have been full time in the RV and have non-refundable reservations at campgrounds (we were on our way to the Grand Canyon), it was important for us to get the power steering and brakes fixed up quickly and reliably. I would highly recommend this location for their service and hospitality.

    We were one the road heading home from the lake and the turbo inner cooler hose busted. Katie in services had the part and made sure we were taken care of in less than 30 minutes, probably closer to 20 minutes. Great service and highly recommend!! Thank you so much!! Side note, we were already stranded for about 2 hours trying to fix the boat trailer tire, so for this to only take a short time, was very much appreciated!!

    I travel full-time in a 2003 Class C RV on a Ford 450 Super Duty Chassis. I took it to Sames for several repairs to get me back on the road. Kattie (Service Advisor) and Cameron (Technician) took great care of me. They repaired the rotted tubes that fed my windshield wiper fluid, fixed my hood which wouldn't close completely, and installed a catalytic converter anti-theft device (which I provided). All work done before the end of the day since I could not leave it overnight (I live in it). The next day they even corrected a problem with my marker and tail lights which happened after I left (blown fuse). I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness they showed me. I will use them again in the future when I am in the area.

    Very pleasant buying experience for my 2021 F-150. I have never met anyone with the overall knowledge of vehicles than Shawn Carroll. The sale was completed quickly and then Shawn spent another 60 minutes plus going over the features of the truck. Great riding vehicle with superb features. I drove past several other Ford dealers to work with SAMES Ford.

He set my iPhone up with the Ford App walked me through how to use it and basically made this the best car buying experience I have had.

    Bought a Ford Raptor from this dealership. By far the worst experience I have had all the way around. Things did not happen the way it was suppose to they pulled the "certified pre owned" warranty just before I signed the paperwork and then tried to sell me an aftermarket warranty. Not being acceptable they did end up "work the numbers" to make the warranty not cost more, I think? After the purchase I noticed major problems with the truck just after buying. Shawn the sales guy scheduled me to take it back the next buisness day where he was conveniently not present. Was there for 7 hours as there was no loaner vehicle, no one knew what to do and kept telling me to talk to Shawn, who was unavailable. they didn't diagnose any of the issues and needed to Schedule another time for there master tech to look as he was too busy at the time. These problems are still not resolved at this time.

    These folks had the vehicle I wanted in stock. (I have it now.) A salesman promptly responded to my online inquiry, and he communicated with me over telephone, text, and email. He answered my questions and explained the deal they could offer me. We came to an agreement, and I drove down to pick up the vehicle. The salesman rode with me for a test drive to confirm my decision. Both he and the finance manager were cordial and helpful. I am highly pleased with my experience with this dealership.

    The service department at this dealer is by far the worst. My family has 3 Fords that I have taken to their department at least 6 different times in the past year. In those 6 visits the service department has disappointed every time. Unfortunately Bastrop does not have another Ford dealer and my schedule doesn't always allow the convenience of driving an hour to another location. I'm that person that arrives at 0630 an hour before they open to ensure I'm first in line. However for some reason I end up being stuck there on average for 4-5 hours. I'm not talking about complex repairs, I'm talking about a state inspection on one vehicle that took 5 hours, another that took 4 hours. This last visit they had our car for 3 days for a diagnostic that was simply a dead battery. On another occasion 5 hours for an oil change because they "thought I had left" I was in the waiting department the entire time. Not until I went to counter to check on the vehicle they informed me it was finished, because they fail to call when work is finished. These are just several of the experiences, the disorganization continues. This department drops the ball on every aspect. I've continuously given them multiple opportunities to provide a better experience and they fall so far from par its embarrassing. I will be transferring all business back to Bluebonnet Ford in New Braunfels where our family has purchased vehicles in the past and had red carpet service everytime.

    We have just one word to describe our experience here -- INCREDIBLE!!! We have been to almost all the Ford dealerships in the area looking for a new F-350. The atmosphere and customer service at Sames is BY FAR the best. You are treated with respect and you are not just a dollar here. These are friendly hard working people that want to EARN your business by giving you a GREAT deal. Our salesman Adam was very helpful and knowledgeable and there was no high pressure to buy. Clay worked with us and got us a great deal on a new truck and gave us a fair price for our 2002 F-350. Luis made the financing a breeze. We have NEVER had an experience like this at a dealership!!! Car buying is normally stressful but not here! Save yourself and buy at Sames Bastrop!!!

    Took in my 2001 F250 7.3 which started running rough / barely at all. Overall they did good work and Kattie was very good and responsive. Which is more than I can say for other places I've been to. She and the mechanic explained the issue (which was a pretty tricky problem in my opinion). They had it diagnosed in 3 days, got the parts in a week, and was fixed the following week. So just under 3 weeks. I would give 5 stars if the turnaround time were quicker but considering everybody is short handed these days I'll take it for good work.

    I wasn’t able to come to a deal with them (through no fault of their own) but all my dealings with Geoff have been nothing but above board. It’s nice to find a dealership that shoots straight, and doesn’t try to lure you in with shady tactics. I’ll definitely make an effort to buy with them in the future.

    I bought my Jeep here and I'm a regular customer to get my oil changed and an overall car checkup. These past few times when I set up an appointment I get pushed to the end of the line and all of the walk ins get to go before me. I thought the purpose of the appointment was to have the car checked at that time that's why you set it up specifically for that date. Kinda like the doctors office; walk ins are welcome but appointments are priority. This is frustrating because if that's not the case then completely remove us being able to set up an appointment. This also is extremely difficult when I take certain days off just to be told I have to wait 6 hours because 10 cars are in front of me regardless of my appointment.

    Can't say enough about Same's Ford service department. The steering rack went out in my F150 just after my warranty expired. They didn't have too, but because of my customer loyalty, they honored my warranty. I can't thank the service manager, Darren, and the two service reps. I worked with Mathew and Katy enough. Because of those three I will continue to be a loyal Sames Ford customer. Thank you again.

    I must say! I had absolutely no hope for a great reliable car for my new job! But some how I fell upon Lizz Roop and her wonderful team here at Sames!     We bought our truck from Sames a year ago. We have had a couple of things come up in the warranty timeframe. Once in October and again here recently. I just have to say that in every instance this dealership has come thru for us. I am here to tell you that they do not stop until you are a satisfied customer. As we all know the world seems to be on back order. When our truck went down this time the service writers, service manager, GM and even the owner worked tirelessly to find parts and get our truck back on the road. This is a dealership I highly recommend as they have proved consistency in going above and beyond in every encounter we’ve had with them.

    Liz Roop - Sales Rep was up front, very knowledgeable and dedicated to her customers. She had me laughing but during this covid time, we did everything over the phone, and once all the paperwork was completed, I choose the vehicle I wanted, I drove up from San Antonio and everything was ready to go. The vehicle was fueled up, clean and just what I had expected. GREAT JOB LIZ!!! Tyler - Finance Department was up front, explained and made sure I understood everything and that I was taken care of.     I would give Sames Ford a Zero on a scale of 1 - 5. The Service Manager is very genuine but I cannot say the same for the General Manager or Shawn Carroll the salesman. I bought a 2020 Ford Escape on January 14th and brought it in for an air noise on my driver's side door. The car only had about 500 miles on it and it smelled like a wonderful new car. To say the least when I got in back it was a used car that smelled like a rotten fruit basket and the air noise was not fixed and the door was not replaced back like it was. The General Manager could have cared less in working with me and only gave me answers that he thought a "woman" would accept. The salesman was only worried about getting 5 stars on his review.
