The beginning of the process was easy. I changed jobs and that is where things became complicated. I made sure they had the correct banking information for the payments but they kept trying to take it from the wrong account. I called and made a direct payment. Then I began getting calls from a collection agency saying the account had been turned over to them. I assumed because if my employer change because I was not behind on payments. I was paying the collection agency and then they were taking payments out of my account for the same loan. It was a mess and I ended up with a negative mark on my credit because someone there couldn't figure out how to handle the account.
