Safe Harbor Credit Union US, Ludington

Every time I have went into Safe Harbor the customer service has been rude. Aside from personal banking i wanted to open a line of credit under my business and was told "we do not do any type of business loans for small businesses" As a bank in a town with ONLY small businesses this was the last bit of info I needed to know that they are only wanting money from corporations and are unwilling to work with small businesses. DO NOT RECOMMEND for personal or business banking.

If you expect a phone call returned, or access, of any sort, to your account information early Sunday, including use of your debit card. This is not the institution for you.

I've dealt with many banks, but Safe Harbor is my first credit union experience. It is, hands down, the best banking experience I have ever had. I love the people and I feel like home whenever I walk through the doors.

I Won't use a "bank". I've had my safe Harbor account since the Early 90s', ... just after they opened really.. I Had a 20+ year old account with the other Credit Union in the area... an account started at my birth... But, the rates, time of operation, nothing was half as efficient or rates and fees were Always better. I've Never been Left unhappy, through this Credit Union.

I've been a member of Safe Harbor(originally Dow) since I was 14. "I," then, "we," now, my children and husband, remain with SHCC! Although we live in the suburbs of Grand Rapids we've BEEN treated with the most respect and dignity by Safe Harbor. Speak, they listen. Ask, they give you factual advice. It's near and dear to the place I call, "Home!"

I've had all my loans with SHCU. I've had excellent customer experience. I've been banking with them since 2017. Thank you SHCU for all you've done for me M. Reese

I went with Safe Harbor Credit Union to buy my leased auto out. SHCU had the lowest interest rate around! Their representative Jackie was awesome! She did all the work for me! One of the smoothest transactions I ever had!

Was sitting in the drive thru this afternoon when I very clearly heard the neighboring car's whole transaction from inside my vehicle. I heard the teller ask the customer for her account number and then the very clear response from the customer. A dishonest person at any of the open lanes could have written it down and done whatever they wanted with it. SAFE Harbour indeed...

Went through the drive thru today...not a peep out of the 4 tellers standing around. No Hi, Bye or Thank you! Take my deposit and turn around and walk away. Nope, didn't want anything else.....see ya!
