I love the member service here. The tellers are great and make sure they are able to assist me on achieving my financial needs. I was helped by Miranda today and she was great. I really appreciated the couple minutes we spent at the window talking about CD's and home loans! Thank you!

I came into the credit union on 7/23/19 and was helped by Emily Snook. For starters she had a very pleasant voice which put me in the right set of mind, and she was very helpful. I only wished I had been coming longer than I have, but am thankful for finally becoming a member. Thanks for everything

Instead of doing the usual round of finger-pointing about who to blame for our current state of the economy and getting angry at the Wall Street bankers who pocket their millions in bonuses and just being plain ol' sick and tired of fees for this and that, put your money where your mouth is. We switched from Citibank to a credit union. And then switched from Sacramento Credit Union to Safe. So glad we did. For starters, I was not happy with the policies at Sac Credit Union - we had an issue with a huge bill being paid on autopay and then not having enough funds. To make a long story short, we had racked up $200 in fees in one day. Safe does not do this. Based on this fact alone, I was happy to make the switch. Opening an account was a cinch! I love their Internet banking service too with their pie chart showing where your funds are being spent and their free bill pay service. However if you do NOT use bill pay, you get docked $3. And for that, I'm docking off a star. With this branch, you park in the back and use the doors facing the back - not the ones facing Madison. I made this mistake once and you have to push some button and have someone buzz you in. I guess it makes it just a tad bit harder if you plan on robbing the place off a busy street! As far as the phone service and counter service goes, it has been top notch. Great tellers, they call up periodically to make sure you are happy with your service and if you have any questions. There is even a SAFE app on my Android!

I love this bank and specifically this branch. Everyone at this branch is super friendly no matter the day of the week or time of day. Mobile banking is super easy to check accounts amd transfer funds.

I had a bad experience with SAFE credit union. First they denied my request for a credit card and car loan (which Schools Financial gladly approved for me 1 month later). I am a 100% disabled veteran and SAFE rated me as having no income even though I bring home a substantial amount monthly. I don’t like their practice of putting a hold on checks and cash deposits alike. On Monday 11/4/19 I went to the drive up ATM and deposited $700 cash. It cancelled my transaction with no receipt and kept the money. They left the ATM open and did not put any signs to indicate it was malfunctioning. This seems like a deceptive practice because people deposit cash which the ATM takes and then they tell you to file a dispute. How many people might not initiate that process? The bank is in position to profit unduly. I also had problems with the app. I closed my account!

The customer service is great. Manager is friendly. And it looks like she has a good relationship with her employees. Which means their is very lil tension.

I have been a member since I was 10 yrs old. My dad started a savings account for me. That was 50 yrs ago. Loved it then and I'm still LOVING IT. Great customer service. Thanks SAFE. Keep it up.
