Horrible experience here, I want because I hit a gas can on the road messed my front end up mainly my sensor, they told me it was going to be over 3k to fixed everything. was going to pay it lucky they couldn’t get the part in for a week, because I want to get second opinion and they told me all I needed was I a bracket and that it would only cost $400, just a bunch of money grabbers at Ross Darrow go to the Honda place in Brookfield much better service and honest techs.

This dealership's service dept is very accommodating and efficient. I was on a trip from Michigan to Wisconsin and my air conditioning stopped working. It was 86 degrees and very humid. I was in terrible traffic in Chicago. I had been turned away by two Honda dealerships - one in Michigan - one in Indiana. I called this dealership from Chicago and service advisor ANGELA DAVID made me an appointment to come directly to their service dept. She also helped easy my mind that this was fixable and could be fixed in a timely fashion. She kept me updated about the needed service, the cost, and the time frame needed for the repairs. I was able to pick up my car that same evening with everything in working order again and a complimentary car wash. Honest staff and excellent service. Thank you so much for giving me faith in people who are there to help others in need.

This was the smoothest car buying experience we have ever had. We booked a test drive online, came in and talked to our sales rep Darrell. He kept in touch with us when the make/model/color came in and the negotiating all took place before we walked in the door to pick it up. Quick test drive, trade-in offers, financing, payment and we drove out of there faster than expected, happy with the product and our experience.

Deceptive advertising. Scheduled a test drive for a car seen on the Internet the Internet. My son drove an hour and a 1/2 to our house and we drove another hour there. Upon getting there the gal says you know this is a fixer upper right , and we can't finance the car its a cas only deal. How would I know that? The add doesn't mention anything being wrong with the car. The ad doesn't mention anything about being a fixer upper it's a 2016 with 87000 miles on it nor does it say anything about not being able to finance it in fact it fact it had the information there what the payments would be if we did finance it for 60 months. Deceptive that should have been part of the ad describing the vehicle. The sales gal says she has friends that do mechanical work only $1500 to fix the car and we could make money on it. The paper said it needed the airbag diagnosed by a Chevy dealer another thing on the engine diagnosed by the Chevy dealer had many oil leaks and cylinder head had a leak. If it only needed $1500 of work for me wouldn't they fix it themselves because it would be way less having their own mechanics.. She did offer us a bottle of water for our time and gas being 3.60 a gallon. What a joke

They were great as they fit me in the schedule last minute and manage to get a replacement part very quickly. Staff were very helpful and would recommend them. Having a final summary type checklist for routine items within a category would be helpful to make sure everything gets done and everyone is on the same page.

"Shady" is the best word I'd use to describe this place. We came here to look into trading in our Odyssey for a newer model. We arrived to find that the prices are $5k more than they list on their website. I understand the effect supply chain issues have had on prices, but shouldn't this be reflected in the prices you list online? Aside from that, they insisted that purchasing an extended warranty must be a part of the deal (despite us telling them multiple times that we aren't interested in it), and offered us several thousand dollars less for our trade-in than what the "online calculator" estimated, despite them not even looking at the vehicle. Needless to say, all of this added up to us deciding not to do business with them. It was bait and switch at its finest, and I regret wasting our time here.

We drove to Wisconsin for a suburban because there wasn't much inventory in Illinois. When we were in the discussion of price they tried to sneak in a $4000 warranty that we didn't ask for. That was obviously making our monthly payments a lot higher. On my way back to Illinois my breaks started squeaking and the air conditioning stopped working. I mentioned this to the dealership since I have only had 3 days and they will not do anything about it. I will be getting the work done that my car needs in Illinois. If Russ sold me are with faulty breaks they will have a lawsuit on their hands.

Wanted to make an appointment during the week to see a car. One of their employee called me back to set up an appointment and and foward me to a sales manager for some questions. Both sales manager didnt pick up so i left a voicemail. Next day, she called me back and I told them they didnt call me back. I called both of them again and left a voicemail. She called me a third time, a week later, and I told them that I purchased a different car because they never called me back. But they keep on spamming my phone. Stop calling me. You didnt want my service when I was looking to buy. Its been 3 weeks and they are still calling me.

I went to this dealership to have a rough idle and coolant leak diagnosed. They indicated they could not find a coolant leak nor could they figure out why my vehicle was idling poorly. I was charged $300.00 to be told "I don't know". I spoke with the GM on the subject and he spent an hour begging for me to work there and not addressing any of my concerns. No I don't want to work for you, no i'm not interested in your job offer, and shame on you for charging $300.00 to tell me "I don't know".

Not a participating dealer! Beware! They upcharge ALL vehicles $5000.00 over MSRP. And their response: "What if you owned the dealer? What would you do?" As a consumer they should value the manufacturer promotional prices. Instead this dealer deliberately disregards the manufacturer advertised prices. They make their own prices and pass the cost onto the buyer. Ridiculous! A basic lease for Civic sport is advertised as $239 with $3499 down, equally around $300/month with Zero down. And they want over $550/month for zero down. They are asking for $250/month More than the manufacturer advertised. And quite frankly way more than the car is worth. No thank you. Save your money.

Amazing service all around ! Jay was extremely helpful and made the process so smooth. Levi is extremely knowledgeable. He even went above and beyond to take care of a recall I didn’t even knew I had during my routine oil change! We live in Waukesha, but take our cars all the way to Milwaukee since we know they’re always in great hands!

Roland and the team was nice until I handed over my down payment and pulled off. Thats when the problem started.. They promised me they would detail my car the next day. I waited 2 days before purchasing the car in all that time they didn't clean it and while I waited took me back there and showed me that I was next for detailing which never happened saying their detailing guy wasn't showing up. Not my problem. It's been over a month and at least 5 visits and still nothing. Since they can't do it I would have thought they would pay a detailing service to do it. I would like to be treated like the customers that purchased a new vehicle from them. They receptionist hung up on me because I wanted to talk to a manager and not Roland anymore. The customer service socks after you give them your money until they can get some more from you.

What a nice experience! I wouldn't typically visit a dealer for car repair but decided to take my car to Russ Darrow since I had purchased it there. I received excellent service, car is running great and I feel like the price was fair. They didn't try to pile on extra services and I had my records handy to confirm what was needed. I would definitely visit them again!

Excellent service with fair prices. I appreciate the careful inspections of my car to make sure I stay on top of any needed work. Jay was especially helpful and even found some coupons online when I decided to get tires and have an alignment done. Seating in the waiting room is well spaced and has a few tables in case you want to work while you wait.

I always have a good experience with Russ Darrow whenever I am scheduled for oil changes. Service is fast, friendly, and affordable. Also, the waiting area is spacious (very necessary during this pandemic) and comfortable. This morning, I was serviced by Amerikus and she was very knowledgeable, answering any questions that I had, even providing me with service recommendations and price estimates. My oil change was scheduled for 8:15am and I was out (with a carwash) by 8:45am. Exceptional service.

I went in to look at a 2012 Chevy Cruze. The dealer Rowly was extremely pushy and seemed as if he was not trying to hear anything I was saying. I informed them of a problem with the car that could've become a major issue and they simply told me they weren't going to fix it. The management was also quite poor. After settling on a price I was pulled into an office with the financing manager to finalize the deal. He tried to push me to get extra add ons for which I declined several times until finally getting frustrated enough to make him stop. I ended up purchasing the vehicle but left this dealership feeling pushed around, frustrated, and sort of played instead of happy and excited for my new vehicle. The dealership is not horrible but you won't ever find me buying an American Made car at a foreign dealership again. I received WAY better treatment at a Chevy dealership with my last Cruze than with here. Overall a 4 out of 10 for experience but a 6 out of 10 in purchase. As the car was in decent shape considering its age.

The buying experience was fast and easy but I also came prepared. Your salesmen was nice but the test drive wasn’t. I loved the car but it was disgustingly dirty. And even when they cleaned it and got it delivered the ceiling in the back had what looked like projectile vomit that had dried on the ceiling so I had to clean that myself. I thought they would have cleaned the whole car or at least tried. I told my salesman to be at my house about 9:30/10 and he didn’t arrive until 10:40 not sure why but he was nice though.

Took my odyssey in on a Sunday to have my transmission fluid changed. Vehicle was done in an hour and Eric was very professional. They looked over my entire vehicle and let me know what maintenance needs to be done at each mileage interval. Definitely will be going back there for further maintenance or possibly another vehicle!

My service experience was bad enough that I’ve decided not to bring my car here any longer and I definitely won’t be buying my next car from here (after buying my last 2 from Russ Darrow). First visit to fix back hatch – they don’t have the part. Understandable. I book an appointment for a few days later and leave. So far, no issues. Second visit to fix back hatch – I get up early to get there early so I don’t miss too much work. 30 minutes AFTER I get there, they come to tell me that the part never arrived. What? You didn’t check that before I drove there EARLY in the morning and missed work?? Why isn’t checking to see that you have the parts you ordered for a return appointment something you do BEFORE your customer arrives? Third visit to fix back hatch – I emailed the day before to make sure the part was there so I didn’t waste any more time. It would have been nice if they had reached out to me to reassure me after my previous visit, but whatever. I just wanted my back hatch to open. They replace the wiring that they thought was causing the issue. BUT that wasn’t the whole problem. The button the wiring controlled was also shorted out. I would think that if you have wiring connected to something, you would check that during your initial diagnosis too. You know – this wiring is shorted out, I wonder if it shorted out what it is connected to also? But no. They didn’t check that so now I have a new problem to fix. And now I’m scheduling appointment number 4 to fix my back hatch. Fourth visit to fix back hatch – finally done. Now, here comes the really insulting part (although visit #2 was pretty insulting). Three days later, I get one of those standard follow-up emails to rate my service. I give it the lowest rating possible. It is only AFTER I reply to that email that I get a call offering me some free oil changes to compensate for my time. Where was that offer when I was there 3 days earlier? Or when you wasted my time on visit #2 when you didn’t have the part? No thanks. I’ll take my car elsewhere from now on. Your free oil changes are not enough to make me ever want to come back.

On 29 March 2021 I was in the Milwaukee area and my maintenance minder came on that it was time for an oil change and tire rotation. Not being from the area I googled Honda dealerships. The first one that came up was another dealership in the area that I will not name. I went there first and as soon as I got out of the car I was turned away by the service associate saying “if I didn’t have an appointment that I wouldn’t be seen”. Didn’t even try to help me. I then went to Russ Darrow and was greeted by Chris B. I explained to him that I was only traveling through the area and needed an oil change and tire rotation. I said I didn’t have an appointment and would wait or possibly come back tomorrow if it worked better. Chris understood my need and said “don’t worry we’ll help you here”. I didn’t mind the wait at all, it wasn’t even long. Chris was so helpful and kind and just a great human being. Thank you for helping me out! The best part was they didn’t mind my doggo that was there! Great service! If I’m ever again in the Milwaukee area I know where I’m going for my Honda needs!

Johnny Robinson was more than helpful showing me all the features of the cars I was looking at. I didn’t feel pressured at all. Enjoyed a salesman-less test drive. When it came time to discuss purchasing I again felt no pressure. The manager Steve even joined in on the conversations to work with me to do everything he could to get me where I was comfortable with the price. It was an excellent experience!

I received excellent service from everyone at Russ Darrow Honda. I accidentally left my car at their former location (which is now used as their body shop) They called to let me know that they would be moving my car to their new location. Once at the correct location I received a quote and recommendations before they started service. The quote was spot on and service was quick. Highly recommend!

Normally I wouldn't have gone to a dealership for service but my VSA light came onto my dashboard and figured a dealership would have a better time diagnosing the problem. Chris Berger was super helpful on the phone so I assumed my decision to go the them was a good one. Instead of just doing the job asked, the mechanic, Rangel Lopez, continued to badger my boyfriend into SELLING my vehicle. Wildly inappropriate and unprofessional, especially when the offer was completely insulting because the car is worth 4x as much as his pathetic offer. I understand it's a dealership but continuing to ask your ridiculous offer when it's been declined multiple times is tacky. Granted they found a problem with the timing chain, but due to their complete unprofessionalism, I've taken my business to fix that problem elsewhere. I can't speak for the other mechanics or workers there, which is why this is getting 2 stars, because Chris was super helpful. But if you happen to receive Rangel as your mechanic, get ready for 2+ hours of inappropriate behavior and time wasted.

The service writer was great. The one star is because they would not accept my coupon. Apparently you have to show them the coupon before the service! Terrible policy and they wouldn't make an exception. It was a coupon from their business. I guess the Darrow group needs the money...

I needed a fender liner replaced, so I called to get a quote. Eric in parts and service was fantastic! Gave me the exact quote for parts and labor(which was very reasonable) and told me he could have the part in stock the next day. He quickly and courteously checked me in this morning and the service department did a great installing the part in a very short period of time.

I worked with Scott (new car sales manager) and Mike (salesman) on leasing a new 21 CRV. I can't say that it went exactly as planned, but also following their advice I actually walked away with a better deal than I was originally expecting. Unfortunately the "online buying" doesn't really work as it describes, ultimately you still need to come in for a traditional car buying experience. However, the calculated numbers from the online buying application are accurate, without any hidden fees like some other dealerships operate. Everyone I worked with was super friendly and was accommodating and not pushy. And ultimately the staff poised me to walk away with a better deal even though the original planned deal didn't work out.

DISHONEST BUSINESS. Sounds like many people had similar experience. I called ahead to make an appointment on a CRV. I was adamant about asking if the car had been in an accident or if it had any dents. I was told no accidents and no dents. Additionally, the carfax online said accident free and the description said accident free. When I get to the dealership, we sat down at a salesman desk that greeted us outside, he walked away and then came back. When he came back he told me the car had some damage. I was like great and told him I was told it was accident free and had zero dents. He then said there was a small dent. He pulls up the car and theres a basketball sized dent and scratches all down the vehicle. He kept insisting I take it for a ride and the so called small dent was not an issue. I kept telling him no and he GRABBED my baby carseat that was in my hand and started pulling me towards the car. THIS CROSSED THE LINE! Who grabs someone's personal property during a covid pandemic!? He would not stop about taking the crv for a test drive. I told him no many times and told him that they lied to me and wasted 3 hours of my time and unnecessary traveling with my baby. You should be ashamed of your dishonest business. How dare you put your hands on my personal property. I have drove loaded crvs, I dont need to test drive a damaged crv and waste more of my time. I will be contacting corporate.

I personally like to go into the same name car brand, just to make things easier for me. Made a appointment beforehand, got on schedule quickly. I went in to do my safety recall, service went really fast, they changed the front two axels. It didn’t cost me anything, it was free. I really do recommend this place for services. I never brought a car here, so my opinion might be different from others.

Found Honda Accord online thru car search website. I was connected by Russ Darrow Honda about it and I explained what I was looking for and comparing to before I would make a trip there. Well I drove there and found out that the car was a wreck. Failed multiple safety checks. I wish they would have told me thru email or phone. I find it appalling that they would post this car on their site or other used car sites and not be upfront with all of the safety issues it had. I will not do business with a Russ Darrow dealership because of this horrible experience. Even with our new cars. This car was supposed to be for my 17 year old. And it was completely unsafe.

Very shady. Their online advertised price didn't include their dealer add-ons which increased the price by multiple thousands, and they wouldn't take them off. Wife and I left and bought a Subaru Forester elsewhere at MSRP the next day without the $2500 "Scam-o-nize" paint protection package or the $500 mud guards. Unfortunately I had already given the Honda salesman my phone number. Never used to get spam calls but now 2-3 times a day I have someone calling me about my cars extended warranty. Also - DONT TOUCH MY INFANT! Horribly inappropriate and especially so during a pandemic. The experience was terrible but I learned to avoid Honda and Russ Darrow.

They’re not committed to their deals they officially offer as of 5/14/21. I was sent an upgrade letter, an email and a call- all with specifics for upgrading… only for them to rescind their offer after I waited nearly a week to hear back from them (upon sending them the necessary info to get the upgrade started). And, I hadn’t even taken my vehicle in yet! This was a waste of time and energy. Don’t waste your time, folks!

Overall a fine experience. Nothing seriously wrong, but nothing especially great either. Basically: it’s a car dealership. The sales process was pretty typical. Our saleswoman was great. She was very nice, sweet, and walked us through the entire process without putting any pressure on us to by a car or spend money on upgrades. I actually wish we had spent a bit more time looking at available options, but that’s more my fault than hers. The financing woman was a bit pushier with the available upsells but the entire conversation was extremely friendly, she did a great job explaining the available options, and we walked away very happy. After we got home we found a screw in the tire. At this point the car had less than 300 miles on the odometer, ~230 from before we bought it and the rest from our driving. We brought it back in and asked if there was anything they could do to reduce the cost since the car was so new and there was a decent chance the screw was already in when we bought it. In short, no. Full cost tire replacement. It’s completely fair for them to charge us the full cost for a new tire, but it still stings. TL;DR: It’s a completely fair dealership, but it’s still a typical dealership and I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

Came in for oil change which usually takes about 40 min. Took 1hour and 20min. Asked service advisor what type of oil was used and he didn't know. Usually I'm asked if I would like to have my car wash. I thought maybe they would just wash it. While I sat there waiting every car that was brought out after service was washed.Didn't know my car was not washed until I came out. Spent so much time waiting for oil change I was just ready to go.

Outstanding Experience at Russ Darrow Honda Metro. George was exceptional and provided us with the best car buying experience ever. The process was painless, from selecting the vehicle that we wanted through the closing process. My Mother was shopping for a vehicle and we shopped several dealerships within a weeks time. When we met George, we told him what we were looking for and our budget. George engaged Adam who was great to work with. Adam brought out two vehicles to start with, and he said if we wanted to try others just let him know. My Mother test drove both the vehicles and decided on one of the two. Adam was truly knowledgeable about the vehicles, and very patient with my Mother. He went over all the special features of the vehicle, paired her phone and pandora. My Mother is very happy. Great customer service with no hassle. My Honda recall required axle replacement which took about 3 hours. Russ provided me shuttle back home and back while they fixed my car. This saved me lot of time.

This location is about profits and margin. They utilize unethical and borderline fraudulent sales tactics. I found two vehicles that I was interested in online. I went to the location and test drove both. Prior to test driving both, I asked the sales associate the price of both vehicles and confirmed what was posted online. Immediately prior to making a purchase decision, the sales associate said both vehicles came with a "sealant, splash guards, and cargo tray mat." I was not interested in this add-ons but it was only at this point I was told that they were part of the vehicle and an added cost (+$2500). Yes, there was an additional sticker on the back of the car outlining these expenses, but at no time during the test drives or during discussions about the benefits of the car or the price was this brought up until I made a purchase decision. All that was said was confirmation of the car's MSRP. I pointed out that this was not disclosed at any time during our discussions nor when I inquired about price. And more importantly, no where is it listed or referenced online. Their GM came over with the single priority of conveying that they posted the appropriate legal disclaimers online. Their interest was not in being transparent with the customer, but rather that they had fulfilled their legal obligation with appropriate disclaimers thus absolving them of any wrong doing. After I asked more, turns out every car on their lot has these dealer specific add-ons that are non negotiable. You can't really take off a sealant once applied. This would be the equivalent of a dealer mandating that a customer has to purchase an extended warranty or gap protection with their vehicle. If these are added on to every vehicle, this should be conveyed online. This isn't a one-off. This is a misleading and misguided tactic that does not serve the customer. This dealership lacks transparency and utilizes disingenuous sales tactics. Although they have fulfilled their legal obligations with obligatory small print disclaimers, this pricing tactic lures customers in at a certain price point only to find out later that the true price of every single one of their vehicles is 7-10% higher than what is posted or advertised online. I have been to three other Honda dealerships, none of which had this approach. Its understandable to be a profit oriented business. They are there to make money and have margin expectations, but to achieve those KPI's through misleading and unethical tactics is clearly taking advantage of the customer and borderline unethical. Wasted my time and tarnished Honda's good reputation. For this very reason, there is no confidence that they wouldn't use these same or similar tactics when servicing a vehicle or warranty. Why would any customer take that risk by purchasing a vehicle with them. I will not and never will purchase a Honda again for this reason. Its a shame because I have always previously held the brand in high regard. Its too bad a single dealership can tarnish that reputation and brand. The GM felt extremely comfortable and confident in his defense of their tactics. He wasn't about making the situation right or working for a solution to the problem, but rather was more focused on showing me the legal disclaimers posted online that I had missed. He wasn't trying to get me into a new car. He was more focused on pointing out that they had done the bare minimum in legal disclosures and it essentially wasn't their problem that I didn't ask the right questions earlier in the sales process. If I were Honda, I'm not sure I would want a person with that approach representing the Honda Brand or managing a business like that.

Awesome customer service from start to finish! My salesman was Derrick, and I honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better! He was extremely understanding and patient throughout the whole process; being, I visited several different dealerships in the area before making my decision. He also took the time to explain and show me how EVERY feature on my new vehicle worked, and he made sure EVERYTHING was programmed before I drove my new vehicle off the lot. Our experience having our car serviced at Russ Darrow was fantastic. The service person fully explained everything that need to be done to our vehicle. He was knowledgeable and thorough in the explanation. The work was done in no time and the technician explained what was done as well as upcoming service checks which we should make. Overall, the visit was smooth and easy. We have been using Russ Darrow for car service for over 10 years. We believe we can trust this facility as we have never been mislead by them and they operate in an honest and open manner.

Had another terrible experience at Russ darrow tonight. The guy barely gave us the time of day and gave us the most ridiculous offer ever for a trade in. Kbb said at the lowest range it was worth $850. They offered $200. I could donate it for more money. They refused to negotiate at all. Even if this deal wouldn't work, he had no interest in even talking to us to see what we were looking for. He told us no one asks for the type of car we were looking at and they have had the vehicle for 5 months. It clearly isn't selling. I had cash in hand and he saw it. Just a terrible experience all around. I don't recommend anyone to go there.

It has been 10 yrs since I bought a new car. The cars and the process have changed a bit. Michael Tuler was very knowledgeable and thorough in informing me re all of the features of the CR-V which I was considering. I did not have my funding to purchase on my first visit. He was very available and responsive to follow up questions. When I met initially and when I came to purchase the price of vehicle was set and not influenced by my trade in. During the purchase process Michael made it easy and made sure I was satisfied and informed. Once I got to the finance process Shannon worked with me to structure a plan, warranty and pay structure that met my needs. Very strange experience to say the least. The car salesman Rowley was nice at first. We test drove a few CR-Vs and then I was was waiting for pricing at his desk. He kept getting up and walking away without any explanation and barely talking to me or my mom. That’s when Josh the finance manger or whatever he was came over. First, they offered me $1000 for my trade in ha! Josh acted like this was a great value for my car and would not budge. Then, he puts down the pricing on the CR-V and that’s when I knew he was trying to take advantage of me. The numbers did not add up and he just set the paper down in front of me without explaining what I was actually paying for. Safe to say we got out of there real fast. While we were driving to Wilde Honda, Rowley and Josh call me and ask if I’m coming back and I said no, I’m taking my business elsewhere since you’re giving me a bad deal and they hung up on me!! DO NOT go to Russ Darrow Honda! They are dishonest, thought they could take advantage of me and are rude! GO TO WILDE HONDA! They are way better. Ask for Daryl.

I recently needed to have my car services again. I spoke with Jay..would made sure to check on all of the things that my car could possibly need and advise me on what needed to be taken care of right away. I thank him such..I can always expect good customer service from Jay..I have complete trust in his advice 👍..thanks again. In and out in 40 min last time I was here. This weekend I went in for service on Sunday afternoon after church service. We drop the car off. Hubby and I went to eat, near the end of our meal I got a message that the car was ready. This was very convenient having service available on Sunday.

My lease was up...I wanted to get a new car. They wanted to sell a new car. There's always a dance. I don't like dancing, especially with car sales people. The sharks never care for their prey. Out of all my car-buying experiences this one felt less anxiety-ridden, less unnecessary bullying/pressure and greater authenticity in the negotiation process. Nastacia had to play her part, but remained as relatable and as respectful as we can hope. 😂😆She went above and beyond to hear my concerns and come to a number we both begrudgingly agreed upon. The people we dealt with for a Honda Civic lease were polite, however they definitely took advantage of us. Their initial quote was way beyond our budget, and being new to leasing we didn’t know what to expect. They brought it down for us at the cost of a higher down payment which we ultimately agreed to. Afterwards I saw they were advertising the same lease I just got for the same price with no down payment. Lesson learned. Do your homework and don’t feel like you are inconveniencing them each time they have to go talk to their manager over price. It’s just a show, and they’re going to always start way high on their price. I genuinely thought they were kind and trying to help me out, but I guess not, which is the most disappointing part of it all. I am happy with the vehicle though, so it’s not a total loss.

They detailed the car well but when we went to take possession of it there was no roof rack or towing package on the car as advertised! Not a happy customer!

I was unhappy with the lowball trade they offered me. The fact they say zero due at signing turns into $1600+ Dollars in fees and accessories you didn’t ask for, but are forced to take is also a factor in my 3 star review. Very poor & misleading advertising. My sales person was phenomenal and the manager made a suggestion that helped get me more for my car. Took way to long to get a car, but in the end all worked out.

I scheduled my appointment in the morning. They were able to get me in that afternoon. I was greeted by a friendly customer service rep (as I am every time I visit Russ Darrow Honda.) I was in and out within an hour and my car was washed. Great experience! I strongly recommend this dealer ship.

When I left my job in IL, one of my worries was who would I find to service my Honda ETHICALLY and fairly in the Milwaukee area? I am pleased to report that Russ Darrow service department fit the bill. Their service in the past 6 months has been consistent, friendly, informative and fair. Anyone who I have spoken to there, has been a pleasure to work with and seem like they really want to help. My most recent experience with one of their technicians Jay, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and my fiance and I felt like he was genuine with his suggestions. Just purchased a solid 2003 Honda CR-V from Russ Darrow Honda! My salesperson was Carmen Medina Santa-Ana; she was beyond helpful and kind. I came into the dealership for this vehicle, and attempted to trade my 2017 vehicle which was financed. Russ Darrow was unable to offer me enough for the car to cover what I owed and the purchase of the CR-V, HOWEVER Carmen and her sales manager directed me to a dealership that would be able to offer the amount I needed! They were so excited to help me! This was so amazing to me, because I was purchasing such an old and used car, but was receiving the same sales experience I would buying a new car. I purchased a car here a little over a week ago. When I was headed there, I wasn't serious about the purchase of a new vehicle (some life changing events going on). Derrick was the sales rep that assisted me. As soon as I walked through the door, Derrick made it painless and easy! He was very enthusiastic and entertaining! A few days afterwards I saw that there was dog fur everywhere in the trunk. There was also dog fur in the seats which I ended up cleaning out before getting back to the dealership today due to allergies. They did an awesome job getting out the dog fur! Overall great experience for me so far!

I'm very pleased with Service Advisor "Maddie" for getting me into the service center on short notice today for my sudden need for a car battery replacement. I found Maddie to be friendly, knowledgeable, and accurate on predicting the time for job completion (45 minutes). It's nice that she searched for current coupons and reminded me about the complimentary car wash.

Don’t believe online ads. Went to look at a good deal on Chevy Malibu, drove over and hour to get there, once we get there all of a sudden we find out this is a cash only fixer upper car? How can you place ads online offering financing and claiming it’s a car in good running condition when it’s the complete opposite? Nothing was mentioned over the phone either. Very disappointed and don’t plan on buying a vehicle from Russ Darrow ever, sure we would have maybe looked at more expensive cars there but not after they screw us like this and just completely lie to get us in the door.

We found a vehicle at Russ Darrow Honda via the Russ Darrow Group website. We contacted the Honda location to inquire about availability and setting up an appointment to come test drive. We received an emailed price quote from the GM of the dealership and ALSO a couple of emails from another store employee advising us of our appointment time, ensuring us the vehicle was “ready” for us, and also asking about trades and financing. Prior to our appointment, we noticed the car was no longer on the website so we emailed both the GM and the employee to ask if it had been sold. Reason why? We live an hour and 45 mins away and didn’t want to drive to Milwaukee for it to be sold. We didn’t receive a direct response from either person regarding this question, but the day of our appointment, the employee assured us the car would be ready for us and gave us two additional salespeople to speak to that could help us with the deal We arrived and found one of our two salespeople and, you guessed it, he couldn’t “find the car” on the lot. He could see the correspondence we had with the other employee and went to go find where the car was. He comes back telling us the car is NOT for sale as it has a “blown turbo” is “leaking oil” and has “front end damage” UNREAL!!!! What a scam! That’s the kind of shady sales tactics that you hear about but hope actually REALLY doesn’t happen. Well, they happen at Russ Darrow Honda. I would not trust this dealership if you have any distance to travel to see a vehicle and even if you don’t, BUYER BEWARE

First time buying a new car. This was the definition of a scummy dealership experience. The negotiations on price were what I expected, they expect you are stupid and would lower one line item but raise another one without saying anything. The specialist dude in particular was incredibly bad. He threw a giant fit because I wanted to finance through my bank which had a lower interest rate. He also kept making a big deal because I was actually reading every document I had to sign. 10/10 will never do business here again.

I brought my 06 Honda Ridgeline in on the 16th of June to get my A/C looked at. I'm under warranty from Protect my car,so everything is covered.I picked up my truck on Sat, morning and it was leaking profusely from the Rack and pinion .I brought it back on Sunday they allegedly fixed it,now it's making a loud whining noise. I'm afraid that if I take it back it won't get fixed properly. While it was there Angie David,called me and told me that I needed a timing belt and she also said that I needed a motor mount, which she didn't report to the warranty company and I had to pay $2018. And some change. I understand that I am responsible for 25% of the bill but she didn't turn the last two problems to the warranty company. As of today 6/25/2022 my truck is still not running properly.

Took my 2016 pilot in for a fuel injector fault code. It was out of warranty. They found an option through an extended warranty plan and fixed my car at no cost. Also on time as promised. Very unexpected. thank you (service person was Tiffany)

Russ Darrow at 10851 W Metro Auto Mall, Milwaukee, WI 53224. I’ve had one of the worst experiences buying a car at this location I’ve ever had. Check them out on Yelp, it’s spot on. If they didn’t have the car that I wanted, I would’ve walked right back out of the door. I drove over four hours out of my way and arrived at the dealership a few hours before they closed. I took it for a test drive and we chatted with the salesman for a while. Rowley was nice, but seemed deceptive and dishonest. I was disappointed. It was getting late and I told him there’s one other car I’d like to check out and I’d get back to him in the morning. Well, they jacked the price up overnight by almost $800 and claimed that it’s out of their control because of “live market pricing” that the price went up BUT they’d honor yesterday’s price. UNTIL, I declined their extended warranty. The car was a certified pre-owned car, why would I need an additional warranty on top of it!? It would’ve cost an extra $1,900! If you didn’t know, extended warranties are a big money maker for ANY dealership. That was the whole reason I wanted it because I wouldn’t have to pay extra for an extended warranty that has so many fine print exclusions. The finance representative went back to his office and came back out and said he can no longer honor yesterday’s price and the salesman said that because we’re not local they couldn’t honor it. Then the salesman took me out to the car and gave me $200 “of his own cash” to bring me back inside. I watched him go to the cashier and take it from them, not that it matters. It did help offset them jacking up the price a little. Their ethics are nonexistent. I was at the point where I didn’t even want to buy any Honda ever because of my experience with them. Are other dealerships trained the same exact way by corporate to be deceptive, dishonest, and arrogant? If it is, I’ll never buy another Honda again because of the lack of ethics. Here’s a little bonus! They were trash talking the other dealership that had another car I wanted to check out saying that they sell a ton of cars they buy at auction that have flood damage. Van Horn of Ocnomowoc, WI to be specific. They told me that I really need to check over their Carfax because I’m going to get “screwed over”. I researched both cars before I went car shopping and both were spotless, not a single thing wrong. Me “getting screwed over” was such an ironic statement coming from them. I ended up buy the car from Russ Darrow but it was simply just a transaction to them. They could care less if ever did business with them again. While I was waiting to get my financial paperwork ready to sign, Rowley, my salesman, told me to go wait in the service department waiting room because his other customers came in and he needed to take care of them. Rowley was decent to talk to, I’ll give him that, but I didn’t feel like a priority. They could clearly not care any less about us, especially the manager and financial representative. ANY of them. The only one that was straightforward with me was the kind lady that helped me sign all of the loan paperwork. She was quick and courteous. All of the rest of them, not even close. Once I said I’ll take the car, they got the paperwork together as fast as they could just to send me on my way. They said all they had to do was clean it up quick and I’d be set! They only ran it through the car wash. The center counsel had soda, juice, and crumbs in it and an old towel left in the trunk. Their “we’ll save you time and money” slogan is such a blatant lie. So, take this as a “buyer’s beware” warning. I love the car but hated the experience. Glad it’s done and over with.

As most J series honda owners know. Theres a vvt spool gasket leak which can cause a whole mess of other problems. So I had a mechanic replace the gasket. But it started throwing me a p3497 code. Which is for a bank2 oil pressure solenoid. Had the mechanic change the solenoid too but code remained. So i decided to take it in to Honda and have them replace whole spool valve assembly and while there at it why not do a valve adjustment. Got a call from them saying piston rings needed replacement for a misfire. But as i did a lot of research code p3497 may cause a misfire code. So i told them not to change piston rings and only do the valve assembly. Received the car back a few days later to see that they did not even changed the whole assembly only the top portion. So who knows if they even went in and did a valve adjustment. And they unplugged my knock sensor and didnt plug back in. Dont know if that was intentional or not. Not satisfied with this experience with them at all. Will not be a returning customer in the future.

Great effort by the Service Team to handle a manufacturer air bag recall fix on my 2005 Honda Civic. The service team was able to quickly replace the defective parts per the recall, and treated me exceptionally well as a customer, even though this was a minor repair at no charge. The process to check in and check out quickly was greatly appreciated!

Avoid this place. As a polite Midwesterner, it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. Russ Darrow Honda got me angry enough to do it. We inquired about a car online and received a quote and setup a time to meet at the dealership. At that time (noon) there were 11 listed in stock. By the time we got to the dealership they told us 10 of the 11 had sold that day. Right... That is the point we should have turned around and left. Unfortunately for us, we didn't. There was one model left and we trekked out there so why not check it out. Even though it wasn't exactly what we wanted we decided to see what a deal would look like for our trade-in. That is when it got really offensive. Even though we had priced out our trade-in on 3 different services, and with other dealerships, Russ Darrow undercut the estimates by $4,000. When we showed that we had researched what the value was, what their carrying costs were, and what they could sell for, the deal-making turned. Al, the sales manager, tried a few more tricks but ultimately knew we couldn't be fooled. This is where it gets really crazy. Deep into the back-and-forth Al comes over and says we can't make a deal because he "just discovered" that the car we were looking at (with 90 total miles) had in fact been in a serious accident with damage over 10k. This wasn't disclosed until they knew there wasn't a deal to be had. That level of deception within the first 70 minutes makes me worry about what happens on a regular basis. There were a handful of salespeople just wandering around and overall the place was quiet. We went to another Honda dealership in the area and immediately got full value on the trade, a transparent set of terms, and a quick deal done. The second place was packed, busy, and pleasant. I don't know why Russ Darrow thinks these short-term tricks will work in the long-run. Try being honest and respectful of your potential customers' time, it might just work.

This is now the second dealership to let me down. 6 months without any tire issues, and the tire light comes on not even 5min qfter leaving the dealership for service. The techs just fly through work and skip steps. They don't care about your car at all. If they can't even check tire pressure, what else are they skipping.

My salesperson, Leisa, was fantastic. A pleasure to communicate with, and I felt that she really cares about her customers and loves what she does. The GM (George) on the other hand, just wants to listen to himself talk. I called twice and spoke with him. Not once did he truly want to listen to me and my questions/concerns. Rather he went on with long-winded answers that never really addressed my question. He's very "old school" and buyers these days don't want that. After two phone calls with him about an issue I had with the car on my drive home (certified used by the way), I was left with a negative experience at this dealer. The price of the car was great. They don't negotiate, but I knew that I was getting a value. My finance person, Shannon, was great to deal with as well. There was a hiccup though in the fact that I was told prior to going to the dealership that they had a financing option that could beat my credit union. Well, they couldn't do that after all. Were they trying to pull a fast one on me, or was it a honest mistake? We'll never know. Fortunately Shannon wasn't the person that made that promise to me, but unfortunately she was the one that had to deal with the extra legwork to come up with a better rate than the 3.99% they tried to slide by me.

Took my 17 year old to get her first pre-owned. She had found on website. Car was still on lot. Sticker price was out of budget. We left and looked at all the other places around them. Could not find anything. Daughter looked online again for car- listed 3K below the sticker. Went back talked to same salesman (Chandler, very professional and very nice guy). He asked us what brought us back and simply saying we want the online price- we got a car. They hold true to their word. Car is decent, does need work, but is a good car for a first time car. Would recommend Russ Darrow.

Would highly recommend this dealership. They were very transparent through the whole process and I didn’t feel at all as if I was dealing with a “car salesman”. Michael Tuler was exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and his friendliness came across with such a genuine feel. There was no hidden, sneaky tactics by himself, the sales managers or finance as is the case with some (unfortunately most) dealerships. I also was in and out of there with my new car in less than 2 and a half hours as a walk in!

Their customer service is great. The representative who saw me brought out a checklist and explained the used car, and everything that was inspected and what may be wrong. He explained that the vehicle was being purchased as is, but was reliable and what to expect. I was very appreciative of his honesty and that I would be returning in the spring for a new car, or a newer used car. I highly recommend Russ Darrow to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle.

My appointment was for 9am. Upon arrival a gentleman named Jay was very friendly and helpful. He explained every question I asked in layman's terms and even found a discount for the services my vehicle required. He told me it would be an hour. It was exactly 1 hour. Since it was my first time there, I received a small tour as to where everything was. I would highly recommend this dealership and Jay for your car needs.

I've been bringing my car here for service since i purchased my vehicle, always planning on trading it in for another new vehicle from Russ Darrow. The additional service fee for using a credit card is a bit shady (oh yeah sure they've got a credit service you can use.. for a fee.. wonder who makes a % of that fee?) Not the customers fault if your merchant fees have gone up. I was made aware of this fee before my service was provided. I would have incurred a cost to move my vehicle to another location for service so they had me, no big deal - but the way i was treated when i went to pay for my service was just out of line. First it took a few moments to get the staff's attention, then the staff behind the glass, upon hearing i was using a credit card, instead of verbally speaking to me about anything tapped loudly on the glass where the notice of the fee was posted. When i'm spending hundreds of dollars, i'm accustomed to a bit more service than this, even more so when there are arbitrary services fees added in so someone at the top can make some more money off of me. I was a customer for life, bringing my car in for every little service need, oil change, etc -- i'm sure now that my car is beginning to need a bit more expensive regular service, some other mechanic or service department will appreciate my money enough to provide the customer focused service i feel the large price tags deserve.

Go there to look at a relatively cheap car, guy pulls it up front with a completely flat tire , the check engine ,abs , and air bag lights were all on couldn’t pop the hood unless you bring a pliers, the driver door window had cardboard and tape up I excepted something like that from private party facebook or Craig’s list I wouldn’t even take it for a test drive the car is a death trap. Russ Darrow Honda in Milwaukee is a joke for selling a car/ cars like that ! Don’t waste your money there buying any of there cheap cars they will all kill you I bout something off facebook less miles, newer, 100x cleaner, no lights on, just had a bunch of work done to it for just under $2,000. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste you time here!!!!

Very friendly staff and very nice facilities but be knowledgeable and don’t be afraid to ask questions. My first visit was excellent! My second and third time I was told that my daughter’s car needed a high priced part, but when pressed and asked more detailed questions about other options, then I hear other options that would solve the issue without breaking the bank. In one case just buying a new gas cap would solve the issue but I was recommended a costlier option. Again, be knowledgeable and don’t be afraid to ask detailed questions. I’ll probably find a new Honda dealer as I’ve lost faith.

Once again, this is now the 2 bd time in a row I’ve received “skipped” “overlooked” work from Russ Darrow Honda. I’ve been taking my car here since I bought it from then for any and all services. Last visit was an oil change and tire rotation. I check out they tell me all is good, fluids topped off etc. That wasn’t a fact bc I had zero windshield wiper fluid. This time I go in for an oil change. I’ve had a headlight out for 2 weeks, had intentions on me too j f it to get fixed and forgot. What I was told at check out and was shown on my receipt that all my lights were checked and good. Obviously that wasn’t physically checked, just check marked on the receipt. This is the last straw for me. Very disappointing

Maintenance and repair Service at Russ Darrow Honda has always been very good. In recent years, I have dealt with Eric Nelson, their service advisor. You can’t find a more polite, friendly and knowledgeable Service Adviser than Eric. He is straightforward in dealing with customers and quite candid, and responsible. Their techs are very good too. Leron was the mechanic who worked on our 2015 Honda Odyssey during the last 4-5 visits. His work is very good and meticulous. All in all, a very good service department, which receives my primary attention when I buy a vehicle. This is our 6th or 7th Honda from the same dealership. I suppose that says something. I bargain hard when buying a vehicle, and we have always been able to meet at a mutually comfortable point in the buying price. Very good dealership.

I was in for a oil change, approached by a service tech right away and I didn’t have to wait too long before my car was ready. The waiting area is nice!!! There was this guy not sure if he was a manger or not but he made a point to acknowledge everyone in the waiting area with a hello and thanked us for coming in. Good customer service is always welcomed!! I will definitely go back for more services.

I went in to get a diagnostic due to an engine light fearing the worst. The service rep was great she told me the issue and also looked into any warranties that could cover the cost. The cost of the repairs was $1092. When she did looked into warranties I paid $0. Thank you Mrs. Sandoval for the amazing service. They also waived the diagnostic fee. I’m so thankful!! This is my 4th car with Russ Darrow nothing but great service!!

The staff was friendly. Didn’t recommend things that didn’t need to be done, only things that may be needed. Also had it done way faster than promised. I take my cars here for service a lot, this is why. I recently brought my car to Russ Darrow again, they were able to fix my problem timely and didn’t even charge me. Great job!

FRAUD ALERT! FRAUD ALERT! Russ Darrow Honda is the epitome of sleazy, scammy car sales. We went in to look at a CPO CRV with a listing price of $18,987. We test drove it and liked it and were interested in trading in our vehicle. While we sat around for 30 min waiting for their appraisal on our vehicle, we were surprised when the salesman came back and told us that the price on the CRV had increased to $23,000. For all the "other stuff" that they did to it and added, apparently. When we questioned this, the salesman said, "well, we can take off the new tires we put on to make the price lower." Is this a joke? THE PRICE IS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE AT $18,987 (and still is at the time of writing this review.) Why would they have not told us about this price increase when we arrived? How did the price even increase? I know! Because we told them we would not be financing and paying cash. These people are dishonest, scammy car sales people. No wonder the future of car sales is Carvana and similar companies, where you don't have to deal with all the ridiculous things you think of when you think of shady car sales people. Disgusting company.

My husband called ahead to tell the dealership that we were interested in a used car we had seen on their website. He initially spoke with Brandon but was set up to work with George. He gave them a time we would be there as we live 2 hours from the dealership. We were running a little late so my husband called when we were close to let them know we would be about 15" late. When we arrived, no one really greeted us. Eventually someone came and we told them who we had been talking with about the car. George stopped and said hello very briefly. The car was parked in front of the dealership and appeared to be ready for us to test drive. They gave us the keys and we went for a test drive with the car. When we came back, George was not around. Another agent helped us and had us come to her table. She asked if we liked the car and if we were interested. It seemed like something was up, but we didn't know what it was at the time. We asked a couple questions and she left to get answers. When she came back, she said the car had been sold to the party sitting right behind us. I have never had this kind of dealing before with any car we have purchased. I am not sure why they didn't call us to let us know another party was looking at the car, or tell us when we arrived that someone else was currently looking at the car and ask us if we wanted to wait and see what happened first. What a waste of our time and very disrespectful! Certainly not a business model based on customer satisfaction or repeat customers.

10/10 would recommend them and go with Ken and Darlene! They were great with us. Helped with our 2021 Honda CRV Touring, got it at a great price. They were a breath of fresh air after what we had to deal with at Honda Racine. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. Absolutely no sense of urgency from any of the sales associates or the management team. We went in to look at a used vehicle and I waited 5 minutes before anyone even looked my way. No one greeted me or even introduced themselves. Didn't ask for an ID just threw me some keys and let me test drive alone and after every question would leave to find the answer and would take long to even get back to me. After my last question my salesman who I have no idea what his name is left for almost 20 minutes. I found him sitting in the guest waiting area joking around and talking to other salesman. He looked at me and didn't even acknowledge me until I went up to him and asked for an answer. He gave me a simple but rude response and walked back to his group of friends. Very rude, and has not the slightest idea of what customer service should be. Almost like they were getting paid by the hour. Definitely chose the wrong profession.

The Sales Manager Al is extremely rude and dismissive. I bought a new vehicle from them and after I got home I saw a large scratch on the steering wheel. When I brought the car back to have them fix it, Al just kept talking about how great a deal I got and how I'll never get a better deal anywhere else. He didn't offer to fix the problem but only offered to return the vehicle. Al is exactly the type of care salesman that you're afraid of when you go to a dealer. Rude, overbearing, dismissive, and dishonest. The person who sold my vehicle, Mike, was great. But when it came to support after the sale I was very disappointed.

Been going to this location for years with only great results. The staff is generally super friendly and transparent - at least compared to many of the other dealers I've had to struggle through. Will they upcharge you for oil changes and tire rotations compared to Costco? Sure - but at least they send out deals in the mail to take the edge off. I never feel forced to make any repair, and for me, that's the biggest plus. As far as car dealer shops go, this is one of the best I've found. Update : New facility is fantastic. Car scanning on entry and spacious covid mindful waiting room. Staff is just as friendly and helpful as ever, and transparency is on point. No unneeded repairs, only information based suggestions based on the stats gathered from computers and their team. Big thumbs up from me.

Really had a great experience at Russ Darrow. Went for my car service. Eric was the service specialist working with and he helped schedule and give me an estimate on all the repairs and service needed on the car. Eric was very polite, well spoken, caring and very helpful. His attitude restored my faith in the dealership. I have been Russ Darrow's customer in the past but a few years ago their service dropped considerably so I took my business to Wilde Honda. After this experience I'll be going back to Russ Darrow for my future car services and needs.

The customer service was great. Eric from the service station was extremely helpful and pleasant. Marvin, the shuttle driver was very friendly, which made my ride home seem to fly by. The fact that they even offer a shuttle is a great convenience. Nicole, the cashier, was also pleasant & never let a smile leave her face, which was impressive because it was the end of the day :) Everyone I encountered was professional & helpful, which is why I keep going back!

We live in Green Bay and we’re interested in a used car we saw on cars.com so we emailed with their associate Brandon. I specifically asked if there were any major issues I should know about he referred me to the car report, but nothing was mentioned and the report was fairly clean. After driving two hours we found out that the engine block was cracked. They could have been upfront and told us that initially before we took the time to drive 4 hours round trip. Go somewhere else because they are not honest or upfront.

Sick of being nickeled and dimed by the service department. We bought a new Honda Odyssey with Russ Darrow including oil changes. For convenience, have also had service done. Most recently we received an email for buy 3 wheels get one free. We were having issues with a tire leaking and it sounded like a great deal. Well, per the service guy out wasn't... So I'm still not sure what happened, but we didn't get that deal. After spending over $1000 for a full car inspection and new tires, our new tire still leaked. Had to bring it back in and pay another thirty some dollars because they didn't catch as issue with the rim. After missing it on the full inspection initially. Also, we've only bought one other new car, but at the other dealership, you get a complimentary car wash and tire rotation with your oil change. Not here. Sick of throwing money at Russ Darrow and ending up with a dirty, not thoroughly repaired car. Will not view and further advertisements or get other service done.

My husband and I inquired online about a Certified vehicle. We then called and talked to a salesman to insure the car was as clean as the pictures looked since we were going to be making a 6 hour drive to come buy it. They insured us that it was and everything on their lot was pristine. After making the 6 hour drive, their were cigarette burns in both seats and the car reeked of smoke. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Very disappointed and much time wasted!!!!

Good customer service. I asked for the best deal upfront didn’t want to spend time negotiating. I compared their deal with other dealerships and they had the best deal. There was no messing around. I would highly recommend this dealership they worked with me and delivered on everything I asked.

Stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. The price was great ... with a coupon. And the customer service representative made the trip very enjoyable. She was genuinely happy and engaging. I would have given 5 stars but the whole stop took almost 90 minutes ... seems a long time for this routine maintenance.

Friendly, professional staff. They were quick and did a great job of making sure my car was safe after I cracked some plastic on my CR-V’s underside when I ran over a bucket on the highway. Edit after another visit: friendly professional staff still. Slower this time - my estimated wait time for an oil change was an hour and a half - that was with me being in time to my scheduled appointment. And they were supposed to wash the car but they did not. It was disappointing to get my car back still with dirt and bird poop on it when I was expecting it shiny and clean.

I had a misfiring code in my car and the mechanic told me a cylinder pack broke off and that they could dig it out For a few or replace the whole thing for a bigger fee. I spoke to another mechanic who has worked on my car before and they told me the diagnoses made no sense. Russ Darrow quoted me $590 to have the guy remove the broken pieces and $1890 to replace the whole thing. I then went to the counter to ask about it and they brought me to the mechanic. My car was drivable before he touched it and he admitted to breaking the piece when removing it. I complained about this. They then said they would try again to get it out and just hope it would come out easy. After about a half hour they came back in saying they got it out. They charged me for the part and some labor as well as something called an environmental service. (Huh?) About $285 at the end. If I would not have complained, Russ Darrow would have charged me almost $2k for something that could have been fixed for $285. Honestly, I don’t even think I should have paid for the part, but I just wanted my car to be drivable and get out of there. This was my worst experience at a mechanic ever in my life and I will not go back or recommend them to anyone.

My girlfriend and I went in and test drove a couple of cars and decided on buying a 2019 Honda Civic EX each. She wanted a gray one and I wanted a black. She let them know what color and they never got it and instead sold her the black one that is was in stock. Derrick, our salesman, was pretty good. Very personable during the test driving phase. My experience after that when I was getting the approval was less than good. Waited quite a while to speak with Derrick and when I did it was a very quick back and forth and he was gone again for upwards of twenty minutes. They were able to get another black Civic for me. Upon picking up my car it went very smoothly and everything went well. Overall it was a decent experience. I would recommend them and Derrick again. I just feel Derrick needs a bit more training when it comes to the actual customer relationship in regards to the sale and negotiate aspect of buying a car salesman. Edit....10-30-19 Came in without notice since my passenger window wouldn't roll up. Got me in right away and found out it was the master switch. Normally it takes 4 days to get the part. The service guy said that he was having it overnighted. Their new building is extremely nice.

Initially we had problems. Not being asked to test drive the car or told what price we were looking at from the beginning did not sit well with me. Once that was all rectified we were on the same page. The deal I got on the car was hands down pretty good. I’m sure the price wouldn’t be matched anywhere else. Once I got the car home and tried to change my plates. I realized that whom ever put them on initially stripped one of my screws. I’ll have to call back as that is totally unacceptable and the person should have rectified that situation. I had to take the car back to get the mud flaps and trunk tray installed. I asked for the car to be washed. It was run through an automatic car wash, which I did not know and would have said no had I known. But also, the inside of my floor board was pretty wet. No one put the papers inside the car to keep it from getting dirty and/or wet. That made me felt that once my deal was completed they do not care about the person purchasing or the car. Totally unacceptable for me. Would I purchase from here again, yes if the price is right. However, knowing what I now knowI would establish all expectations out the gate as having a stripped license plate holder is totally unacceptable on a brand new car. That should have been fixed. One can’t strip something and not know. I will be calling to have it fixed. If there are any issues I will come back and update this review and decrease a star. Overall experience was decent once they understood my expectations.

After a terrible experience at a different dealer I found myself at Russ Darrow Honda. I am so thankful for this. Russ Darrow team members all showed me that they wanted no only my business but that they cared about my experience. This carried through from the moment I entered their doors until I drove off the lot with my new vehicle. I am extremely happy with my vehicle and service received. I worked most closely with Jeff Zembrrosky in Sales. He was patient and kind and made me very comforable with every aspect of my purchase. He spent a great amount of time explaining all the features of the vehicle I was interested. He carefully went through all the details of my purchse and trade in to ensure I was comfortable with the final sale price and financing. Overall Jeff and all of the staff at Russ Darrow was tremendous. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone and everyone.

My second maintenance experience was good. Jay explained what needed to be done and that the oil change was still covered by the purchase agreement but the differential fluid did need replacing like the maintenance minder said .They did what was needed and checked other things that might need attention. Nothing else was needed and they didn’t try to add anything. Very trustworthy
