Working with Elliot and Hannah at royal united mortgage was the easiest experience I have had with my mortgage in general. They were super helpful, on the spot, and amazing to work with. My refinance was closed fast and everything went smoothly. Every time I reached out, I received answers to my questions quickly. I cannot give them enough praise for how helpful they both were during the refinancing process! I highly recommend them!

Faith is definitely a go getter and she is very knowledgeable about refinancing and helping get you into the best loan option to meet your needs. Faith works aggressively to meet deadlines and she is very professional and follows up on all loose ends. Faith got my paperwork I believe on June 6,2022 and I was closing on June 29, 2022. Never seen a transition so smooth and so quick and professional. I am very pleased with the outcome of this refinance and look forward to working with Faith again in the future. I had a refinance with Royal United. My loan officer was Robert Schiller. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He has a great skill set for helping clients with what would otherwise be a stressful process. I recommend this company and loan officer if you are looking for the best customer care.

I was going to sale my house at one point but decided to keep it and do upgrades instead of buying something new and just by chance I get a message from a Mr Gilbert to give him a call. thanks to Austin reaching out to me one great morning made my decision easy. I was unsure about refinancing my home and really hesitate to reach out to lenders thinking I didn’t need anymore debt until I got a call from Austin Gilbert whom made the process seem fast, easy & uncomplicated lol Austin is now my hero lol. My realtor, who has considerable experience in realty, and in the mortgage industry, would speak of the promptness and reliability of Ryan. She finds Royal United to be much more proactive than some other lenders she works with. As someone who worked with Ryan in the hopes of securing a loan, I found he provided a transparent and thorough explanation of my mortage. Throughout the process, he maintained his program would best suit my needs, and deliver a competitive, cost effective outcome. I was a first timer for a mortgage. I needed quite a large amount to pay off credit cards, and do some repairs to my home. Richard was the first to call back. He was personable, light hearted, we joked alot along the way. He reassured me when fear n uncertainty came in. I was very impressed with Richards knowledge and his friendliness. I will definitely recommend Richard and Royal United Mortgage to anyone needing some help with a refi or just need to pay off some bills. Easier to pay one payment, instead of 8 or 9.

Royal United and their representative Kenny Goldstein were far better than I expected from a company. Kenny treats you like a human not a number or just a name. I definitely will recommend RU and Kenny to my friends and associates. They go way out of their way to please!!

This company is horrible. They have been harassing me for 2 weeks over a loan. I get multiple calls from different employees and I keep telling them I do not want to do business with them but they keep asking me to explain why I want a loan. One got even mocked me and pretty much clearly conveyed that my time was not as valuable as his. I have told these people over 20 times to quit calling me. They just want the last word and clearly do not actually value any customers. These people seem very dishonest and just want to steal your money.

I had so been dreading the process of refinancing so that I could do some home improvements. I applied with Lending Tree. Sam Perry at Royal United dm'd me instead of calling which my preference. He walked me through the whole process and worked to find me options and the best bang for my buck. I recommend them both.

Buying a new house is a daunting task let alone in today’s market. My husband and I found ourselves overwhelmed and we had a lot of questions. It was our first home, and we also had decided to switch to one income so that I could stay home with our little ones. We had found a home in a neighborhood that would be perfect for our growing family. However, there were a few hoops to go through to make our dream possible. Keara Whelahan was knowledgeable, understanding, and always had our best interest in mind when making recommendations. She answered our many questions and helped us to navigate our way through a crazy market. We are so appreciative of all her hard work and efforts, and we couldn’t have done it without her.

We attempted a refi with Royal. Our rep, Zac Boram, knew we had a modular, but convinced us to spend the money on the appraisal. Of course, the refi was not approved. We demanded a refund which Zac indicated was approved Dec 15. Still waiting. Zac won't return calls or emails. Terrible customer service.

We knew in enough time that they couldn’t get loan approved. I told them to cancel appraisal that was already paid for. Jose went to his computer to cancel. Said if it had not been done it would refund. This was on a Friday. Tuesday I get notified appraisal got done that day. So now I’m stuck paying for two appraisal when they should of and could have canceled.

I wish i was able to give this a no star review I went online and used a mortgage calculator and within 30 seconds i received 15 calls from this company on the last attempt i told the gentleman i am sorry but i an going thru my bank at which point he then hung up on me i am relieved i did not choose this company please be careful when choosing what a disappointment i would never dream of being this rude to a potential customer

Tyler was really helpful and explained everything thoroughly and actually cared about us and was willing to give us the best deal possible. He was very professional and super nice and listened to what we needed and gave us several different options to choose from that would fit what we were trying to do. He got us a lower interest rate and got us a 15 year loan instead of our 30 year loan we had. I would recommend him!

After going through the refi process a few times with other companies, I found Mike McGuigan from Royal United Mortgage out of Indianapolis, IN. We had briefly spoken over the phone and he took care of me like we had known each other for years. I mean he worked very hard to get me the best refinancing possible, and he done it in effective time manner. Everyone that I came in contact with during my process was excellent. Shout out to Sam Perry, who was my MORE-THAN Dedicated Loan Officer! From my initial contact with Sam, he put me at ease and really seemed to manage to match my pace--not that he wasn't ever fastidious in his own right--as I was a tad bit hesitant at first. I only intended to explore my possibilities and options, but Sam was able educate me about the process in very short order and made me feel assured about the win-win benefit of the program. He was able to both set up the appraisal AND find a notary who would come to me in this very small and remote place where I live, which I would never have been able to do on my own; all via text, phone, and email from two time zones away. Sam went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, even into the evenings and on his days off, to make me know he was in this process with me to the very end. My funds hit my account yesterday! Too bad Sam couldn't have helped me secure a reliable contractor to fix my carport/garage and re-fence my backyard, too...Two enthusiastic thumbs up, all FIVE stars, and an around the world snap for Sam!

Tori was easy to work with. We had a unique situation as we earn our income from our vacation rental and most of it gets written off in some form or another. We tried several different lending options and most turned us down. We ended up having two options. We chose Royal United because they allowed us to put only 10% down while the other option required a minimum of 20% down. I will be calling Tori again next year when we purchase another property.

Worst experience ever, so glad I turned there offer down , terrible experience..... bad work ethics , not one person was on the same page with other people working on a simple refinance loan , lied too on several occasions, 700 $ for a appraisal that I wouldnt even have done if the said the truth in the beginning, explained to them before they even ran my credit exactly what I was doing the refinance to finish other parts of house , was assured no problem with the process on several occasions, then was told after that I would have to fix before the loan , like I said would not even had gone threw the process if I was told that in the beginning (agin the Truth) also was told in beginning that my rate would be 3.52 within days they changed it 5.56 , not sure why it was not locked in when the process was started , and so much other details I wont even go in too. Just so glad I learned about this business and how they conduct themselves before I committed to them , being a 100 % disabled Veteran from Iraq war its sad that this business is out there taking advantage of people.

Keara Whelahan insured that this was the best, smoothest, and fastest refinance/consolidation experience. My loan closed in less than 2 weeks, and I had to do very little,. Keara helped me through all the forms,and kept me informed every step of the way. I can highly recommend Keara and Royal United.

Austin and his fellow associates at Royal United busted their behinds to make absolutely certain our refi posted by the end of November, thus insuring that we wouldn’t be in default on our primary residence 15/30 balloon loan. He even provided above and beyond financial coaching and encouragement to help me get my credit score elevated to a level that would insure we would qualify. I would have written this review sooner but have been sidetracked by COVID which, thanks be to God, has been mild compared to others who have been badly affected. I am very grateful for the assistance and services provided by Royal United Mortgage and would very gladly refer them to anyone, and especially those who are seeking trustworthy and reliable help which is exactly what I needed and received. Evan McCorquodale did an exceptional job of keeping us informed of all the details of our refinance. He was pleasant to talk with, work with and was cognoscente of our goal at all times. Evan answered all our questions in a timely manor which made this refinance very easy.

After a disappointing experience that included paying for an appraisal for a loan that “couldn’t” close, I was very gun shy. Then I found Evan at Royal United Mortgage. He was friendly, creative and motivated to close. We communicated nearly daily and he kept me completely up to date with any and all information. He made sure that I had everything in order so that by the time I had our appraisal, the final check for closing was basically a formality. The team was amazing and I’m so glad we made this choice!

I was very skeptical about making any changes to my mortgage bc I am a routine person but after speaking with Ms. Tariah, I was open to listening to what she had to say. Within the first few minutes, I became relaxed and let my guards down. This young lady broke everything down to me like I was a two year old. She was in constant contact with me throughout this whole process. It’s very obvious to me that not only does she know her job well, but she also LOVES what she does!!! I am recommending Ms. Tariah to everyone that I come in contact with bc everyone should experience her expertise and her beautiful spirit! 30 mins after I filled out the form, I got a call from Jackson. All goes well, and we discuss my options and exchange emails. The next day, I get 2 calls from two different employees asking me the same questions Jackson did. On Sunday, I get a call early in the morning, from an employee, asking me the same questions. Midday, I get another call, I explain how I’ve already spoken to Jackson, the employee hangs up the phone. Today, I got 8 calls from them, from 8 different employees. This company does NOT know how to communicate. I sent them an email explaining how they lost my business. Within 48hrs, I got over 20 calls from this company. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would.
