Pretty bad prices. Rude employees. Awkward place to go into as they stare at you like your gonna steal something while browsing. Would avoid and go to different pawn stores up north.

It's my favorite place to go for extra money.

They have good pricing and the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely keep coming back, I highly recommended this place.

I went it after I called about two gold items..I showed it to her all she did was look at and said no and that was it no explanation as to what the material is and didnt even pick it up and look at it and I heard her comment she said about me saying "we're young" I'm 26 years old and little did she know I went to two more jewelry places after and it turns out one my items was actual gold and sold for 2400 that's the worst experience I ever had and worst customer service worker I've ever met....I REPEAT DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE!

I needed an emergency loan in early 2019 and could not get the jewelry at the time of expiration. The jewelry was still at the store 1 year later in 2020 and John and Jackie took great care of me. The jewelry had sentimental value. Thank you

Have to say randy and the crew were amazing, understanding and really funny. When it came to pricing they beat everyone we have been to. I would recommend any one who is looking for a wedding ring, tv, or any electronic this is the place to go.

I took some old jewelry and a camera I didn't want anymore, and got a fair price (especially because I was going to give these things away!). The service was fast and very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Our family love this place it has been in business for a very long time my husband has been coming since 1990. I have bought wedding rings there . They have novelty jewelry Rolex what ever you are looking for in the family. Great prices they also have remolded. Randy is the best and his staff, it is a family business. I lost my wedding rings I had for the past 7 years. I went to Royal Pawn Shop in search of another set. Randy was very patient with me as I paced back and forth trying on several different sets. He saw the gleam in my eyes when I found "THE ONE" and gave me the most INCREDIBLE deal ever!!!! I've shopped with Royal Pawn for years and believe me when I tell you, YOU CAN TRUST ROYAL PAWN TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU!!!!!

Went there today...did not have a good experience. I called ahead to see if they took furs and they said yes...but when I got there with my fur stole with the appraisal, they barely looked at it. They didn’t touch or look at any of my items. They just glanced at two CD players and said 25.00. I thought the people who worked there were very cold and unfriendly. I would strongly suggest going to GoldPro in Oak Lawn-friendly, professional, and you feel like you’re being treated fairly and as a valued customer/client. Avoid this place if you can at all help it. I just had to add an edit...my comment had nothing to do with you NOT taking my items. It had to do with the fact that I felt “dismissed” as a customer and I actually take offense to you trivializing my comment by stating that you just don’t take those items. I will absolutely not be back and as I stated in my previous comment, I strongly suggest that people go to Gold Pro where they are valued as a customer whether the shop takes your items or not and where you will be treated fairly and get a great deal.

Updating my review 2 years later and I wish I could put ten stars!!!! I was just in here a few days ago and WOW 😍 they cleaned this place up and really have the merchandise set up well. I bought a gorgeous platinum diamond baguette ring for an amazing deal. I am already getting tons of complements. Please go to Royal and see Randy!!! Your only regret will be not going sooner. Review from 2016: I frequent this place to check in for great deals. I have even recommended this place to many of my girlfriends. It's important for a woman to feel comfortable going to a pawn shop and this is one that you will feel welcome in. It's family owned and run.
