Royal Credit Union Corporate - ATM Only Riverfront Ter, Eau Claire

Wow I have a loan with RCU locally right for now a year and half or so never been behind till now . I talk to them personally biweekly or so. They have zero appreciation for my payment history and are ready to jump and do what they need to get my vehicle. I can't believe their treatment to a loyal customer I'm 40 I probably had an account with them 30 years or so 1 thing I have always done is work to support myself and my kids I'm doing what I need to get more income and they will get their money but I'm telling you I'm switching all accounts to a different bank for checking and future accounts RCU locally shame on you I thought by now we had built something. I gave a review a while back and that review was negative also and you wanted to win back my trust so you offered to take over th he loan and lower my interest rates. Well I hope others read this fare WARNING

This is my second visit with Courtney Becker. She assisted me with a VISA transaction during my first visit and today she assisted me with my checking account. I'd like to not only thank her for her time and expertise but also for being so easy to talk to and to understand. Courtney is very personable and excellent at her job. I have no complaints, nothing but praise. I recommend her highly if you have problems with your account.

Amazing customer service! We have been working directly with one employee, Teana, and she is great! We have been able to email her with questions, call her, stop in quick on a lunch break, and it is great! She has everything ready for us when we stop in and has even put us in contact with the right people if it isn't something she deals with or if she won't be there. FANTASTIC!

RCU is the most friendly, customer service driven credit union in town. Excellent quality and consistency have created long term loyalty from thousands in our community.

Excellence service and very friendly staff. Beautiful downtown corporate building. They did a great job with my first home loan and my next loan will be with them as well.

I would give them less if possible. My daughter's car loan that I'm co-signed on has been horribly taken care of. For an extended period their accounting personnel were applying my daughter's payments to another person's car loan. They even sent an agency to try to repossess her car twice, based on their accounting mistakes. They even charged her the fee for the repossession fee! This is NOT what I would call even "Acceptable" customer service. I would strongly discourage anyone needing financial assistance to go to Royal Credit Union. Accounting practices and lack of effective communication at Royal Credit Union are beyond unacceptable.

DON’T WORK HERE. Management is terrible and will do anything to cover their own backs, and throw you under the bus. After I was let go I was told I have to pay my bonus and vacation hours back!

Today I have visited the RCU Eau Claire (Golf Road branch) for my auto loan questions and the officer over their answered me so rudely about my questions. I told her about the bad customer service and its better to switch the account to other bank. Without giving me a satisfactory answer she immediately asked me for my last name for cancelling the account. :(( I have an account in this bank since last 5 years and now I will definitely switch this to other bank.

Having lived in several cities within the Midwest within the past few years and banking with numerous institutions I can say that RCU was hands down the worst possible experience! The online balances were never correct, errors often occouring that even Supervisors couldn't explain only to be magically fixed days later. Abysmal. We now bank with Wells Fargo and have never had such problem free service. The only thing "royal" about RCU is how they royally suck.

Problems with the mobile app have been fixed. Policies are average. It's a bit more like a big financial institution than a small, local one.
