He answered my questions promptly and completely, and quoted a price and timeframe for the work necessary. He and his staff developed the document required and provided it to me electronically for signature and notarizing in another State. The inheritance of the property resulted from the deaths of three family members -- John immediately knew every legal step required to resolve the matter. He then guided me thru the entire process of selling from listing to closing - he recommended an excellent, honest realtor; reviewed the offer contracts and provided advice before I made a selection; and perhaps most importantly 24 hours prior to closing he prevented me from signing a 'contract amendment' requested by the buyer which would have set aside legal protections afforded me in the original contract. My wife and I recently bought a house in Nashville and we represented ourselves (without a realtor). John Rochford made the process EXTREMELY smooth. He and his staff were extremely responsive and answered questions promptly. Additionally, because I’m no longer a licensed realtor (my license expired a couple years ago and I chose not to renew it), I didn’t have access to TREC real estate purchase documents. John was able to provide all the relevant and up-to-date documents and he provided them promptly, which enabled us to negotiate quickly on our purchase. We also used his title company for closing. During the time we were scheduled to close, his normal closing person was out of the office. At first I was anxious it would cause a delay but John made sure we had somebody ready to serve us during our closing.
