Gregg Kennedy was our loan officer. We were approved and were told we would close in 2 weeks for 3 deals we had working with them. Paid out over $6,000 in appraisals. No return phone calls and he wont answer any communications from our realtors. We have an attorney filing for refunds and damages! Beware!!!

We have been working with Roc Capital for a while now. They are our preferred capital providers for the most of our deals. We are happy with their fast and reliable service of providing us with best LTVs and rates, regardless of how difficult the deal is. Entire Roc team has been great to us and all our clients are happy. I would particularly mention Eric, Curran and Martin who are awesome and always available for call/text anytime we need them.

Worst lending experience I’ve ever had. Gregg Kennedy would never answer my calls. Always auto texting that he couldn’t answer. He delayed my closing by weeks, and kept changing the terms of the loan, and timeline. They ordered an appraisal through an out of area appraiser which really sidelined my project. Working with them was a god aweful experience I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Roc is amazing, I've dealt with Martin several times now and love the service. Honest and real lenders. I'm in CA they're in NY and still close on time without issue. Can't say enough, good things.

Too bad you have to give any stars at all...this place is RIDICULOUS!! No return calls, months to close with no excuse other than it is in underwriting! Waiting for interest rates to go up before closing...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT AT ALL.

My insurance lapsed (granted my bad) the day I found out about it I placed a new insurance policy on the loan and they went ahead and put forced placed insurance on it with no warning and refused to remove it! I am still trying to get reimbursed $7,800 yes that’s a lot for a small house I am paying Liberty mutual $1850 if they continue to make me jump through hoops I will have to take them to small claims court!

I am in the process of closing a rehab loan with ROC Capital and was so impressed by their performance where I found it necessary to let everyone know. I work with Martin who is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and most significantly, accessible (the most important thing when you are closing a private loan. Their processing team is also extremely quick and responsive, making their process super fast. Thank you all, I look forward to many more closings with you.
