I love the team here at State Farm Keaau. They are always quick to answer my phone calls, and If I have any questions regarding my life insurance policy’s they sure have the answers. Its always easy and painless when setting up a new policy, and they are also very welcoming and friendly whenever I visit the office. Rob, Zack and Chandra are some of the best agents I've ever encountered in the industry. Super personable, knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions and help out with whatever they can. Zack found a way for my household to save money on vehicle insurance when I thought there was no way. We got a quote for better coverage at a lower cost than Geico currently has on my boyfriend! In November when my Outback was totalled, the claim process took about a month to finalize and I was in a new(er) Forester by the end of December! Keaau State Farm has been a pleasure to do business with, and I intend to stay with them!

I was surprised that a big company like State Farm was not only competitive, but cheaper than my previous carrier. The representative who initially assisted me (Ms.Potter) was amazing, taking the time to explain each line of coverage and tailoring the policies to fit me instead of just ramming something cookie cutter down my throat that would have cost more than necessary. There is something to be said about having an actual person that lives in your community to assist you, rather than a phone call or email to someone 5,000 miles away with no understanding of Hawaii and its special challenges. For that and other reasons, I have, and will continue to recommend dealing with Robert Shimabuku's office in Keaau no matter where on island you live. Every person in that office with whom I have dealt have been friendly, professional, polite, and most importantly looking out for my best interest each and every time I needed their help, not just once when it comes to making the sale.
