RescueREO Lake Ave, Worcester

This company remodeled our shower a year and a half before we moved in. The shower glass door leaks every time we used it and after a few months of going through paperwork we found that it was RescueReo who did the installation. I called them and explained the situation, I figured if anyone can fix the leak it would be them. They told me it was out of warranty and I explained that was fine that we wanted it fixed and since they did the whole remodel, we wanted them to come and try to fix it. Then it was explained to me that it was a sub contractor who did the installation but they would send someone out to look at it. The two gentlemen came and discovered a piece was missing from the bottom. It had never been installed properly. I told them it wasn't an issue and that we really just wanted it fixed. To which they said the owner Michael would contact me. Michael did to which he said they couldn't find the part to fix it yet, but that it would cost $250. When I asked how he was able to quote a price without the part, he started to ignore my emails. We looked up the part on Amazon for $17 and my husband and a friend were able to install it. As a new home owner that plans on doing renovation projects in the future, RescueReo would be the last place I would go with. Based on the receipt I have the original job was $10,000 and they couldn't honor their work. We were willing to pay, but not $250 with no explanation.
