Republic Bank of Chicago Hassert Blvd, Naperville

I just came in. My first time in this bank. I can tell you the professionalism of their staff and friendliness is beyond explanation. They are on top of their service!!

I would give this bank 0 stars if it were possible. Called Kelly at this particular branch to see if a check written to me by one of their clients would clear. Kelly made it a point to tell me she could NOT tell me that regardless of the distance I would have to drive to get to her branch. Should there have not been enough to clear the check then I would be out of the gas it took to travel. Kelly made it a point to be very smug and lie that the policy does not allow her to state whether it would clear. Now I did not ask for the account balance only if my check would clear. That is not the policy that they can't tell you whether they can clear the check or not. I know this, because I've called other branches of this particular bank. Eventually she said SHE COULD CHECK FOR ME but only after she tried to ask me my location and my name??? Why? I asked for information on an account I wouldn't have if I didn't have a check written out to me! And after I chose to ask to speak to a supervisor she said well that would be me. I said well I can call another branch if you'd like me to seeing as you are not willing to help me. Ms Kelly get the coins out your coin purse and relax!! You need to be more personable. As a customer service veteran you have failed to show patience and compassion. You failed to show graciousness and to convince me to bank with your establishment as well. As I hope you all choose o bank in other locations as well.

We are having a very positive experience with Republic Bank. Nicole, the new branch manager, is very friendly and has gone above and beyond to help us without being pushy. Genaro, the personal banker that is also helping us has been very professional and helpful. This is a great community bank that is not bound by the "rules" that big chain banks are. I highly recommend this bank!

I have a account at this bank I tried to cash a check made from republic bank also and I was told that I would be charged 5 dollars to cash a check this place is scamming all of its customers and should be invested by the FDIC pretty blatantly scamming public I can only imagine what's in any of this locations paper work be careful of this location scammers !

Never busy. Not sure how they stay in business. Must be all online transactions.
