I've been to a few pawn shops in my life time and i can honestly say that this has been the best one. Gary was honest, fair, and friendly. Will visit again.

This place is amazing, they have amazing electronics guitar amp guitars electric keyboards for great prices. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Gary was very professional friendly and awesome. I'm going to be telling my family and friends about this place. Definitely a must to go visit.

I purchased a rare Skervesen guitar from Gary's shop on Reverb and the transaction was seemless. Gary and his staff are very honest which is terribly difficult to find in his line of business. They understand customer service and were very communicative throughout the process. The guitar was described accurately, was shipped quickly and packed very well. Do not hesitate to do business with Gary and his staff.i would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Reliable pawn shop and Gary is like family! been coming to this pawnshop for 5 years, he goes far and beyond his duty to keep me informed of when I’m due and tries his best to give me top dollar for my things. I have never taken the time to write a review about a business before, but please read this if you have a minute. This is the greatest business I've had the privilege of stumbling upon in years. Having to take a loan out on your most priceless possession can be very difficult and sad, but Gary and his brother were so respectful and reasonable that I have no insecurities about leaving my instrument with them. I used to go to the Simi Pawn shop right down the street from them and was treated abusively and never left the store without arguing with the owner. Gary was so pleasant and grateful for my business that it makes me sick thinking about going anywhere else. In my case, I took a loan out on a very valuable instrument and Reliable Pawn Shop researched my saxophone and allowed me to take out a loan amount that was very fair for my collateral value. They offered to loan me WAY more than I thought they would, three times more than Simi Pawn! And when I told them I didn't need as much as they offered, they respected my decision and didn't pressure me to do anything I wasn't 100% comfortable with. They let me direct the conversation and didn't give me a pitch at all. They also have an amazing selection of high quality items, the likes of which I've never seen at a pawn shop before. I told them about items I was looking for and they took down my information to call me when something I might be interested in came their way. Sorry this review is so long, but I haven't had such a great experience at any store that can compare to their service. I am a life-long customer to these fine gentlemen now and I highly recommend that you pay them a visit even if it means going out of your way. I love you guys at Reliable Pawn!

I visited Reliable this afternoon after stopping at a few other Pawn Shops in the TO/Simi Valley area. In light of what I've heard about Pawn Shops and my experience at the others, I was not going to stop at any more. Something told me to stop at just one more and I am definitely glad I did. My experience at Reliable was totally different. I was greeted when i entered and was treated with courtesy and respect. I immediately felt that they could help me with what i needed, which they did. I left Reliable satisfied and thankful. I highly recommend Reliable and will certainly come back in the future if the need arises.

I purchased an early playstation console from their listings on ebay. Item arrived qucikly, functioned as stated and in excellent shape. Pricing is extremely fair and excellent bargains to be found all around. Very happy with my experience and it was seamless. You can tell they care about customer satisfaction and that goes a long way. 5 stars

Hence the word "Reliable"! Yes, the shop is reliable. My stuff was overdue and I couldn't make it there in time to renew it. So I called the shop if I could come in the next day because I was tied up at work, or send my son in to take care of business. And as a courtesy, I was able to renew my stuff the next day! What I love most in this shop are the people that works there. They are very friendly, very accommodating to your needs, calls you by name as if they know you personally and that's what great about it. I feel like I'm on the countryside where people knows each other by name...lol! To Reliable Pawnshop...more power to you and more business to come!! :) :)

Great quality products, very reasonable pricing. Gary the owner is very kind and professional, he offers very well priced items and they are all high end brand name. The store is clean and well organized, makes it easy to see all the items. I stopped by looking for a high end professional camera, he had many options to choose from at great prices. I've been patronizing this shop for several years now. Ive always had a good experience and always been treated fairly. A great little pawn shop/ They were very helpful and gave me a very fair assesment on the jewelry i brought in, This allowed me to get the money I needed to fix my car so that I could go back to work and earn back the capital that I had been originally short of. I am a huge customer of them since 2013. I am writing this review because I feel like I must suggest ppl to contact them when in financial need. Whatever item it is just bring it, you would not go out of the store with empty hand! They surely give you the item worth amount and fair receipt. And the employees are super friendly and helpful. I purchased a vintage Hondo II LP-style guitar from an ebay listing posted by Reliable Pawn Shop, Inc., in Simi Valley, CA. The price was very reasonable and the guitar was in good condition -- a set of new strings and it was good to go, G! I have dealt with them on a few different occasions and they have always done right by me. I sold them a few things after my father passed away and they paid me a fair number on everything. I have also bought a couple of watches from them which were great finds and very fair in price. The store I went to was nice and they always have a lot of tempting things to buy. The staff I have met are friendly and know their stuff. I will be back again to see them for sure!

My favorite pawn shop! The guys working there are extremely friendly, and helpful. They have good deals, I love stopping in there to see what they have. Just the staff alone will make you want to go! Such great people. I don't go anywhere else anymore.

I just made my second visit to Reliable pawn shops and it did not disappoint. I was lucky to have the same associate, Gary help me with selling my amps and he remembered me! He even followed up on some things we discussed during my first visit and this was before he looked me up on the system, so I knew he wasn't bull5*itting me. This is good business practice - remembering people, being cool and approachable while giving them great deals so they will come back. Gary gave me a very reasonable price for my old music stuff. He asked the amount I was looking to get and worked with me, so I was happy. Will definitely be back!

When I a review it is from an " objective" point of view. (For those of you who havnt cleared the word "objective" it means recognizable by the norm...majority...),so when I explain my unique situation to Gary he didn't give me the cold shoulder but immediately looked for solutions. I just happen to stop by to look and I bought a Tag Heuer automatic watch in a very good condition and a unique gold ring all for a great price. Great place staff was helpful and friendly. I was offered 0% for the first 30 Days it was great. I had spent my day going too different pawn shops trying to get the most and I finally found it. I sold my jewelry getting 10% more then other places i had been. Thanks again so much Gary!!! You. Are. The. Man!!

It's a shame there isn't a 6th Gold Star to give them! I purchased an old medallion from them via eBay. They went out of their way to ensure the item could be sent to me (I am in the UK, so this was an international sale during Covid 19) and once confirmed sent it quickly. It arrived after a few days safe and sound. Their communication throughout this purchase was second to none. I would very happily buy from them again and who knows, if I ever get out there, I might pop in to see them.

This is the go to Pawn Shop in Simi Valley if you are looking for something to buy/sell or if you need money on a quick loan . I've been a customer with them for years and have never had a problem. They are friendly, respectable, and are very helpful if you need assistance. They have a huge variety of items to buy for decent prices and will take items that other pawn shops in the area won't and for top dollar. They are reliable as their names imply. I had forgotten about a pawn once and when it was about to expire they sent a letter two weeks before it was due so I wouldn't forget. Other places would not do this.
